Donutz On A Stick being one of them! While they are tucked into a corner in the Wee Winks Square shopping center, just follow the fresh smell of baked goods :D While they also serve ice cream (I'm sure also good for Summer months especially), you obviously have to get some donuts while you're here. They have a variety of options to choose from (and a cute display window to see what they look like and help you choose, or make the decision harder depending on who you are haha). A small stick is 2 donuts of the same kind and a large stick is 4 donuts total, 2 of 2 flavors (or 4 of the same if you're really committed ;D). You just can't beat the melt-in your mouthness of freshly made donuts. As in, made when you order!! As pictured, we're fans of the rainbow, tuxedo especially, but you really can't go wrong, because the base donuts are solid quality, so the toppings are just whatever suits your fancy in the moment. If you're a coffee person, make sure to get an iced coffee to go with your donuts, they make their own iced coffee cubes so your drink never gets watered down even as it melts! So smooth, so tasty! Cause we come around Thanksgiving, it gets dark early. The shopping center doesn't appear to be well lit at night, so don't let that dissuade you from an evening treat. They're open! Luckily there was a short line so I could agonize over my choice a little longer. Despite the line, the employees kept it moving at a pretty quick pace. It was so cute to see how thrilled the little kids were when they received their scoops! Knowing that I would be driving, I opted for a sea salt caramel cookies and cream milkshake to reduce the hands needed and keep the mess at bay. This was the perfect treat as the slight saltiness complimented the other flavors really well. The shake was crushed before I even got to Kill Devil Hills. She was kind, respectful, and clearly doing her best even while being treated poorly by a coworker right in front of everyone.
