While I'm not normally a fan of GF "healthy" donuts, Dudes Donuts did not join that category. We visited while doing the downtown boat scavenger hunt, and of course, my three year old could not resist the urge to want a donut. And who am I to say no? He got the basic sprinkle donut and he loved it. My wife and I were each able to snag a bite each and were pleasantly surprised how good it was. What a great addition to downtown! The space is bright, clean, and well decorated. The staff are friendly. And the doughnuts are pretty good (especially if you need a gluten free option). We tried the chocolate mint (which we really enjoyed) and the churro (which was not bad - but tasted more of holiday spice cake than churro). Overall, we enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back to try other flavor offerings. Pro Tip: All of the doughnuts are gluten free and vegan, with a dense, cake like texture. Look, if you are looking for a vegan and/or gluten free option, this is the spot for you. But if you don't need your donuts to be vegan or gluten-free, then I wouldn't bother. I found the donuts to be fairly flavorless and a bit dry. The staff that work there were very nice. But I won't be back. I'm still on the hunt for a good donut in Kitsap County to be honest. Overall, dude's donuts is a nice addition to town. Especially for those with certain dietary restrictions. The donuts were more bread-y than the regular donuts I'm used to (if that makes sense), and they had interesting flavors. I think the flavors we liked the most were the London fog and churro. Service was okay, not too friendly but also not unfriendly. The space is large, there's so much seating. It's very light and airy inside. I'm not sure if I saw that they have wifi, but if they did this might be a nice place to study at when they're open. read more

Delicious and moist gluten free (and vegan) donuts. I bought the maple one. So yummy with a cup of coffee, which is roasted by Pegasus Coffee Co. The establishment is very clean and cute. I hope someday they offer sugar free or refined sugar free donuts! I'd be back more often. I'm on a specific diet for my autoimmune condition that cuts out gluten and sugar. This is an amazing local business to support. The donuts are gluten free and vegan, so they aren't your typical donut if you are expecting a standard donut. They have unique flavors and change some of the specials each month. The greatest part of this place though is honestly the people. My daughter has FPIES and will end up in the hospital if she has Egg, and when I asked to confirm that these are in fact vegan, the lady helping me assured me that there don't even allow egg in their kitchen at all. So there's not even a risk at all. They are SO sweet here and just the absolute best. I love that my daughter can safely try any of their donuts and I feel safe letting her. As a self-proclaimed donut connoisseur, I 100% recommend that you try every single donut from Dude's Donuts! They are so good. Soft, medium density (perfect), with great flavor. Today, my family had a sprinkle donut, a chocolate donut called "Joy," and the vanilla hibiscus donut. All 3 were so good! Truly the best donuts I've had in a few years!! If you're ok spending almost $5 for a very small donut go for it! It is a dense cake donut, taste it but not worth $5 in my opinion.

This little shop is a short walk from home, and I took my kiddo here this past weekend. What a cute place! We tried the strawberries and cream ("life-raft" as my daughter called it) and the churro doughnut. Apparently the strawberry doughnut was great but my daughter wouldn't share, so I'm trusting her word. She's 5, definitely reliable. The churro one was outstanding too, really hard to believe they're vegan. We loved sitting at the window and people watching. I do wish they were open more days during the week, but we'll make this cute spot a weekend tradition for sure. Highly recommend! read more
