A Crowning Achievement!…read more My first visit was quickly arranged by Dr. Sindhu's office in order to evaluate my recent, unexpected root canal procedure. This allowed her team to begin the process of transferring my root canal records and determining my dental insurance benefit so I would know exactly my out of pocket cost. On the next visit, Dr. Sindhu took the time to fully explain the crown replacement process and each step that would be involved. Unlike some dental practices where installing a crown involves two office visits, this practice designs and manufactures your crown in-house. I had been informed that in most cases, this would require only one office visit. It did! Although it was a long visit, it was worth it. During the procedure, both the doctor and the dental assistant communicated often and effectively to ensure that there was a minimum of discomfort. They made it clear that they would do all they could to make this a painless procedure. As each phase of the procedure was completed, I was given a chance to recover and relax. The massaging dental chair was a welcome distraction. Once fully prepared for my new crown, the friendly and competent dental assistant encouraged me to get up and watch the machine manufacturing my custom crown. It was definitely cool. Dr. Sindhu was friendly, approachable and seems to genuinely care for her patients. She also takes the time to deliver quality care. A high quality medical practice does not excel simply based on its great doctor(s). There must also be a competent and customer-focused team backing them up. At Chalfont Dentistry I was impressed by every single member of the team including the dental assistants, reception and insurance/finance.
