After recently trying a serum to grow out my lashes and was happy with the length, all I needed was to save time in the morning by not having to curl them. I discovered Lash Lift and this is the only place so far in Seattle that I could find. My lashes are already dark so I skipped the tint. I'll still have to wear mascara to get them more noticeable, but I am happy they are my own natural lashes. The space is beautiful and clean, and the gal doing my lashes was lovely. I went here to use up the Brazilian Groupon I bought for this place, and was able to book a same day appointment. The space was pretty pleasant for how small it is! I was then welcomed by Sang Mi at the reception to fill out a waxing consent form. Shortly after that I was led to the waxing room. It was a small room that's really clean and comfortable. I must say that this is, if not the most, one of the more longer Brazilian sessions I've had. I don't mind it, it's simply a preference of mine to have quicker waxing sessions. I found out that they use strip wax over sugaring too, so that's something to keep in mind for anyone who prefers the latter. Also, I don't really know if there's other places such as this but Sang Mi, my waxer, let me be in charge of cleaning up the wax residue and soothing the waxed area with the aftercare products provided next to the bed. Usually, in other places, the same waxers tidy up your waxed area, which could be an inconvenience sometimes as they would miss a spot or two. Overall I had a good experience for my first time visit! Ashley completely changed and eased my mind about it. On my initial appointment she talked me through the process before she started and after, she ran me through how to take care of/maintain them. First off, let me say...customer service here is great, the location is convenient, clean and very cute. Prices are reasonable and scheduling is easy. After my first appointment, my lashes were pretty and voluminous (a little on the thick side) but overall not bad. My review is on the aftermath of having too many lashes placed on each of my natural lashes. I feel like more time should go into determining the right weight of the extensions in relation to the customers natural lashes. To achieve the volume lash look they weighed down my natural lashes causing discomfort immediately and ultimately, damaging my natural lashes. Luckily lashes rejuvenate fairly, but they take time and TLC to get them back to their normal state. I'm someone who wears lashes for awhile and then will wear my natural lashes for a period of time. I love the look of lash extensions, but it's important to me to still have lashes of my own underneath. I won't be back personally, but if you don't care about your lashes underneath then I say go for it. I have a friend that goes here and never plans on ever taking her extensions off. Service at Dulce Lash was wonderful in person. I removed two star because there was some inconsistencies and hate to say false promises in the experience. I hope they can overall improve transparency for customers before and during the service in the future. 1) As others mentioned, my lashes fell out at a rapid pace. After two days, I noticed missing gaps. Now after 5 days, I am missing my original lashes and don't know what to do. The technician who was wonderful suggested that normally, our lashes fall out and x per day, but at this rate, I am waking up with at least one lash stuck in my eye, and others collecting all over my pillows and sink area daily. I have not put anything on my face since the treatment other than a gentle splash of water. 2) The messaging between the care for lashes on the website vs. what was stated in person is very different. The technician recommended no water touching the eyelashes for 24 hours, and no use of oil-based products. The website recommends 2 hours of no water, and does not mention the life change of not using different products. Had I expected points 1 and 2, I would not have chosen to do this procedure. Dulce delivered a great experience, but I wish the transparency in what to expect was better. read more

I just wanted to give people a heads up on how amazing Meg is and how well her extensions last. I gave her a heads up I was going to Hawaii and I've got to say I am amazed. I have no splits or missing lashes even though I put them through the ringer literately. I went surfing, snorkeling, swimming, hot tubing, boogie boarding, went on boat rides, blazing hot conditions, zip lining, wind.... this was the true test and happy to report. I came here after getting a Groupon. The place is nice and the lady that worked on me was nice too. I was trying to explain what I was going for, but I don't think she really understood me, nor did she match the pictures I wanted for my lashes. She told me the adhesive was made in-house, which is actually not bad. I've had issues with some adhesives due to it making my eyes itchy, but this one, so far, hasn't caused me any issues. My lashes are a lot less full and dramatic than what I wanted, which I kept telling her, I wanted dramatic. I went into work the next day, and my coworkers all said that the last place I went to had better lashes. My aesthetician spent exactly 1.5 hours on mine, and it felt like she wanted it to be on the dot, to get me out the door. I don't think there are very many lashes on my eyes right now. Pretty unhappy with the service at this location - I came here to get a 4D volume fill because of my wonderful experience at the Mercer Island branch. At the Mercer Island location, the esthetician took time to determine the "best" volume lashes for me since I wanted a full/fake eyelash look but naturally have thin, medium length lashes. She explained that she couldn't put more than 2-3 lashes on my natural lashes for fear they would fall out faster if she used ones with 3-6 on them. The esthetician at this location seemed like she was in a rush to get me in and out within my hour booking, even though the appointment started 10 minutes late since the previous appointment ran into my time. She asked me if I liked the lashes I used before, I said yes, then she proceeded to fill. After she finished, she offered me a, "new wand" then took it back because there were lash extensions on them. She then handed another "new wand" which was the same one that she failed to clean off because extensions were still sticking out of them. On top of that, I unknowingly walked out of the salon with a few extensions on my face because she didn't even bother to clean them off. Not only did my appointment only last 50 minutes even though I was early, but two of my natural lashes fell out within a couple hours of getting them done. Despite me confirming that I wanted the same lashes as I had before, she used extensions containing 5-6 lashes (way too heavy for my natural lashes to hold). Many more lashes have fallen out since - each of which confirm she was in a rush to get me in and out. I came across Dulce Lash Lounge thru IG. They looked amazing so I had to check them out. I've had classic lashes done for years but this was the first place where I really loved the way they did Xtreme Volume lashes. I took a break from my old gal to try these and I am in LOVE! Keely did my lashes and she was incredibly punctual, sweet, asked the right questions ahead of time and gave me the most gorgeous cat-like lashes I've ever had. She is SOOO talented! I really wanted to like this place since it's convenient to home and work, but my lashes fell out so ridiculously fast that I can't recommend it. I came in for a full set of mink lashes. It took about 90 minutes, and my stylist was really nice. However, I lost about 25% of my lashes in the first 24 hours and they were nearly entirely gone within 4 days. I know they're not permanent, but the loss rate was way below industry standard and what I've experienced elsewhere. Also, I don't know if I can entirely chalk it up to the stylist -- there was another woman getting her lashes done at the same time I was (you share a room with another client), and she also reported that her lashes fell out in a few days and she was back less than a week in for a second try. Also, one word of caution about the reviews from folks who just got their lashes -- Dulce has a sign posted in its lobby offering a discount for those who write a review right there. I would suspect it accounts for some of the high reviews, as they've been posted without any insight into how long the lashes will last. read more

I've been getting my lashes done every few weeks for years... And I've been to a number of lash shops... But after 4 visits this place has finally lost me. Their lash service is good, but their operations and chaos is a hot mess.... A month ago I had an appointment I needed to cancel, so I emailed several days ahead and let them know. A week later I got an email that I was a "no show" and would be charged... And I replied with my previous email cancellation to dispute it (aka: proof) and I never heard back. The charges were never reversed and I never heard a reply. I foolishly booked again and showed up early on a Saturday, only to find out the door was locked and unmonitored and you must call from your cell phone for them to run upstairs and let you in. Well,... I forgot my cell phone and waited in the rain for 20 minutes... They finally came to the door to tell me I missed my appointment. When I explained I didn't have my cell phone and had no idea it was required to get in they said they would spend the remaining 10 minutes on me. They then charged me full price... And asked for a tip (which I gave). So... I have paid full price for two services that I didn't get because their organization/operations failed me. Lastly- don't trust the glowing reviews-- you get $10 off if you post one. read more

I purchased a set of eyelash extensions on Groupon. After the lashes were done, I noticed a glob of glue attached to a few lashes that wouldn't come off. I called Dulce Lash back and they recommended that i use a q-tip and oil-free makeup remove to remove the glue. After attempting for a few hours, I was forced to schedule an appointment with another eyelash extension lounge (Pink's) in order to remove the glue glob since at that point, Dulce was closed. It required a lot of work from the technician but I finally got it removed. A week later, I noticed that the lashes in the right eye were falling out at a faster speed than the left. Since I was out of town and in LA, I went to a friend who had been practicing eyelash extension. She was appalled by the work that was done on my lashes. Apparently whoever did my lashes at Dulce did a poor job of 'isolating' the lash when applying the extension. This means that the lash extension is glued on to several, rather than one lash. When one of the natural lashes falls, it basically takes a troop of lashes with it. At that point, it was beyond repair. Fast forward 3 weeks, and every night the extensions fall out and i am horrified each time I look closely and see 2-3 lashes attached to the extension. Apparently it will take a full 3-4 months for those lashes to all grow back and recover to its original state. I wish I knew who my technician was because it sounds like there are some good ones at this shop. But whomever I was assigned to didn't' do a good job at all and for that reason I am giving this establishment 1 star review and never gracing them with my presence again. read more

I am absolutely addicted to Meg's super skillful 4D lash application. I've gone elsewhere and nothing and no-one comes close to what she can do! It's a little pricey but worth every penny. I started getting lashes right before the birth of my son so I would have great birth pics- TOTALLY recommend. Everyone comments how beautiful and bright eyed both of us are- after 18 hours of labor! Now I keep coming back b/c I never have yucky mommy days...even with no makeup (who needs more than these showstoppers?) and no shower- I still look like I woke up amazing. Definitely good parking as you're right on that Westlake strip that is all park/parking/bike lane. I came on the bus, however, and that's also ok as there's pretty good service all around, I had the option of 3 or 4 different routes from downtown. My service was done on a Sunday, I feel terrible that I forgot my gal's name but she's the only one that works on Sunday. I have been going to Dulce for about a year and half now, which is a testament to how great I think this place is. I've been hesitant about posting a review because I wanted to keep this place my little secret, but in the spirit of sharing, here is what I think! Meg is hands-down the best! She does a great job with my lashes. People always ask me how I have such long lashes....it's not mascara. She does a good job of making them look real. They usually stay on for about 3 weeks for me. Pricing is pretty decent here, especially when you buy the package. Meg also provides some of the best customer service! there have been multiple times when I have last minute requests or changes, which she is always amenable too. The location isn't the most convenient but it is nice to force me to walk around the lake every so often. I would not want to drive around here though given all the traffic around the stop lights. The studio is very cutely decorated but it is weird that there are two stations in each room; however, I haven't had to share a room with another person yet. read more
