From my initial contact to inquire about replacing my sliding shower doors with a frameless glass enclosure I was referred to Dulles Glass by a colleague. Lisa Bowyer helped to efficiently describe my options and schedule an appointment for measurement and material selection. Within a few days Wilson arrived on time, immediately put protective coverings on his shoes and set up his materials in the bathroom. He was careful and considerate of his surroundings and skillfully measured. He was able to answer and guide me to specific options, and my proposal was received later in the day. Within another few days, Edwin and Rolle arrived on time to remove and install the new shower. They both were efficient and respectful of the workspace , entirely covering every surface with dropcloths and coverings. They both seemed to work as if the project was their own and were cleaned up and out in about 3 hours. Top notch product and service! We had our basement finished with a full bath including shower. The contractor talked us into small glass cube wall as a partition between the sink and the tub. The issue was that the partition was not big enough and the tub surround and bathroom floor would get drenched after every shower! Reached out to Dulles Glass and was immediately impressed with how quickly I was connected with a salesperson who discussed some options and scheduled someone to come take measurements. Within three days we had our measurements and quote for the project. I had some additional questions but due to my work schedule I was unable to connect with a salesperson during the week. So on a Saturday morning, 10 days before Thanksgiving, I decided to visit their Manassas showroom. I was there promptly when the showroom was scheduled to open and met Hasan Tunc, who happened to be Operations Department Manager. We went through my questions and the issue I was trying to solve he quickly came to a determination that the Metro shower door model would be the best option. Has was absolutely wonderful! There were some logistical issues that I wanted to go through and Hasan showed me a mock up of how the install would look the and the photos taken during my measurement appointment. I told Hasan that we needed the shower door installed before Thanksgiving! and Hasan said he could make that work! Follow up emails and texts happened on Monday confirming the installation the Monday before Thanksgiving! The day of the installation, the installers showed up ahead of scheduled time and competed the full install in roughly two hours. The finished product is absolutely perfect! It has great style and really completes that bathroom and the quality of the product is top notch! The representative who came to give us a quote used a laser tool for precise measuring. He was very knowledgeable about all things glass (and different types of coating). Their engineering department was also prompt in their responses on phone and on email subsequently about the details of our order. We were concerned that when our glass shower door opens, the towel bar on it might bump into our bathroom door. All this was taken care of, with precision, at the design stage. Avoid Dulles Glass at all costs. I learned my lesson the hard way and was robbed of $6,000 and never even received a mirror. Despite my repeated requests, Dulles Glass refuses to refund my request. They charged me $6,000 for mirrors, which come to find out, they don't even make. I specifically ordered custom frameless mirrors, but only after charging me did they disclose that the mirrors can't hang frameless (which was the only reason i needed them custom). I asked to cancel my order before the order even shipped, and Dulles Glass refused to cancel or refund me. The manager tried to manipulate me into accepting a different mirror and or giving me an ultimatum of $500 refund for a $6000 order while proceeding to lie and claim that I signed a "contract" which I never signed or agreed to. I don't know how a business can get away with this level of deception and greed. I've never experienced this level of complete disregard, truly the worst customer service experience I've ever had. read more

To follow up on my initial review, counter to Dulles Glass' comment that cleaning products were the issue I have now confirmed that Dulles Glass improperly used silicone to adhere the mirror to the wall which eroded the mirror. This became clear quickly when the mirror was removed to understand the issue better. Dulles Glass caused the damage by using the wrong products and should concede to the cost of replacing it due to their negligence. I have photos to demonstrate the damage and third parties who confirmed the cause of the issue. read more

These guys installed my shower doors and hired them through Loews. They came and measured and stated they had to make custom shower doors and do not use Loews shower doors. I already had doors for over 25 years that worked but wanted more better look. This ended up being a nightmare project. First they came and measured a.d ordered custom doors they came and they didn't even know how to put them in. They sent unskilled people many may times. The freaking glass doors cracked and cut our feet and they can never fix it. They open by themselves and water gers on the floor and they refuse to fix it . I would never ever recommend. This company. The management is rude lacks empathy for trusting consumers that put there trust in a company to back the product they make and install. The manager became aggressive and stated he did all he could. Well if you had brand new shower doors that don't work hoe would you feel about it?
