Our guest bathroom and kids bathroom came out beautifully and the custom cut glass for our walk-in bathroom looks seamless and the work is incredibly clean. What I appreciate most is the time that Jeff, Trip and the rest of the folks who worked with us took to review the colors and finishings and styles of hardware they had available. I had some very specific design challenges (too much gold in the bathrooms) and they walked me through how I might minimize the impact of introducing yet another set of hardware (the glass hinges). Also when I went to their office in Manassas to see the hardware, the person who greeted me offered me a snack for the ride home since he know I had driven a long way. It's kind gestures and patience like this that make all of the difference in terms customer experience and satisfaction. Edgar and Dave performed a wonderful job repairing my glass shower enclosure. They expertly fixed the sagging glass door and repaired the seal between the glass door and the large glass piece to which it was connected. Recognizing that the another company had previously installed the larger glass piece incorrectly, they braced the piece from the attic so that it was connected to solid wood rather than to sheet rock alone. Honestly, the gentleman that came out to measure, Richard, made the sale before we even received the final quote. He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. I've used ABC a couple of times and always had excellent, very friendly customer service. I first chose them after seeing their good reviews on other sites. They installed a custom shower glass for me at an affordable price. The turnaround time was very reasonable. They did a great job with the installation and handled the glass very carefully. I also had ABC come back out to my home to get estimates for replacing an extremely drafty window. The estimator discovered there was something jammed in the window creating the draft and fixed it for me! (I had Thompson Creek out to get an estimate on the window earlier that same day but they didn't tell me or notice anything was wrong) I appreciated that the ABC estimator was so helpful and honest enough to tell me when I didn't need a window replacement after all which saved me thousands of dollars. The only interaction I've had with ABC is by phone. They missed an appointment. No phone call, nothing. Found ABC online and made an appointment over the phone. I found it odd they could not come out for over a week but figured since they are from Manassas they wanted to combine all the Alexandria calls into one day - no problem, I'll wait. On the day of the appointment I took time off work to make a special trip home home and meet them. No one showed. I called the office and after a brief delay from the guy on the phone he said they were running behind with the weather and would not be to me for another 45 minutes. Where was the phone call? It seemed to me (Since Manassas is about 45 minute drive to my house in alexandria) they forgot about the appointment and came up were coming up with a little white lie. I probably would have been more accepting had they been honest and told me they forgot and needed to reschedule. The fact of the matter is they didn't show up to an appointment. No phone call. We had a very old double hung window with a failed seal, causing it to fog up. Calling window replacement companies meant a 3 window or $1,000 minimum. The first glass company I called quoted $400-500 due to an hourly labor minimum. Mike quoted $300, measured within a day, and the glass was installed within a week (earlier than estimated). He even showed me how to remove the lower window so I could replace the screens myself. Prompt, professional, friendly service from everyone we dealt with at ABC, at a fair price. A few months back, we used ABC for some custom cut, interior windows in our shop and we were very pleased with the product and price. This time, our front glass door was shattered by a 3 year old and a magnet...! ABC was very professional (from Mike and Megan on the phone, to the two gentlemen that installed the glass) and had THE best prices in all of Manassas. I called every glass place yesterday, since ABC did not have any installers in due to the weather (which was the reason I had a 3 year old at work with me--daycare closed early), and was quoted anywhere from $475-800++!!!! ABC charged UNDER $375 with installation and they were here in a matter of hours once the order was officially placed with them! We used abc glass for our shower enclosure as recommended by our contractor. They were extremely professional and responded very quickly to emails/callsZ From measuring to installation it was a breeze and a delightful transaction. The gentleman that came out to measure was great and explained the entire process to us and how the door would function with what options we had. The office then sent us a 3D rendering of how the glass would look in the space which really helped visualize the finished product. The door came in a little earlier than originally predicted and we were installed within 5 business days from our order date. Edgar and Mario did our installation and as shown in the photos protected all the surfaces in the bathroom to avoid any damage. They were quick, respectful and did amazing job. The enclosure itself is beautiful. The glass is thick and the door has a good amount of weight to it. We upgraded the glass to not have the green hue and I am very pleased in the way it turned out. Our three bathroom remodeling project went absolutely horrible. We were exhausted, aged by 10 years, and incredibly frustrated by the whole industry and everyone and everything that comes with it. Enter - the ABC Glass and Mirror. Our experience with them has been incredibly pleasant and smooth! A team member spent (no joke) about 2 hours measuring our master bathroom, telling us about the different options for the glass, hardware, showerguard, etc. This company was the only one who told us how crooked the shower area was built (thanks to our contractors). We ordered our glass doors for the steam shower - and they were ready and installed on the 5th day. Everyone was incredibly attentive - from the moment we ordered, to the installation, to the payment. I'm not sure how this company has such a high rating. ABC was hired by my apartment complex to fix my windows. Not only was the one worker belligerent, he threatened to walk off the job just because I told him they were a little early and I wanted to clean up the area around the windows before they arrived. Guy turned everything around to the property manager like I was the rude one, when I was the tenant and he was in my home, so perhaps some customer service training would be in order. Not only did they install the wrong parts, leave paint chips, broken parts, and dirt all over my floor, they knocked over my personal paperwork in two rooms and reinstalled one of the sets of blinds backwards. The apartment complex was told that these two men, or at least the belligerent one, were not allowed back in my home. ABC did send a different crew to fix the windows correctly a week later but I caution anyone who uses this company that it depends on the crew you get. read more
