I can't praise Max and his team enough! Thoroughly professional, dedicated and accommodating in every way. Due to an injury I had to postpone my move. Max immediately re scheduled. For two extremely hot days, they worked silently and without a break! The least I could do was offer lunch and drinks. Though the crew spoke little English, communication was not an issue. The universal language of gestures, smiles and expressions worked very well! Nothing was left to chance. Each dish was individually wrapped and secured, furniture wrapped and blanketed. For a top of the line move, we were charged an unbelievable fee! We have lived all over the world and our company used a very expensive mover. The service I got was as good if not better. Max, the owner was really great and really took care of me. On the day of my move, one of his foreman had an emergency and couldn't make it on time. He personally came and started the move himself and apologized and told me I wouldn't be charged for him doing the moving. The movers arrived two hours later and I ordered 3 and a foreman but only 2 showed up. They worked hard and fast and the move was completed in 5 hours. Max felt that I shouldn't be charged the normal rate and so he gave me a drastically reduced rate for the move. I really appreciated that and even though the move wasn't executed perfectly, I'd gladly give my business to Max again because he showed he cares about his customers. read more

I would rate higher if it wasn't for one thing that really bothered us. We rented a "tow dolly" that would tow one of our cars to our new place in NC. We knew nothing about how to use one, as most don't. We just expected to have a brief explanation of how to hook up our 2nd car. Unfortunately, the General Manager told us to "read the instructions". We had already planned on doing this, but we just wanted a more hands on way of learning how to safely tow something worth tens of thousands of dollars 300 miles down the road. When we asked for help once again, the General Manager said, "sorry, my insurance doesn't cover me for that." Not really sure what he meant by that, but what ever. We got everything loaded on the truck and when it came time to load the car it was an ORDEAL. The freaking instructions were ripped. You could only read the first few steps, which didn't help much, at all. After reviewing Youtube videos and getting a few neighbors involved, we were able to safely secure the car. It was a very stressful event. The receptionist was REALLY NICE! I really enjoyed working with her. Very patient with all of our questions. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dulles Logistics. I should start with the fact that I absolutely HATE moving! I can think of million other things I would rather be doing. The guys at Dulles Logistics made the move as bearable as a move could be (and that is really all I could ever ask for). They have a moving truck rental business through Budget, and they will also do the move for you (for a fee, of course). We hired them to do most of the moving for us. In other words, we packed and they did a majority of the moving (which in my opinion is well worth it). The reasons I would recommend them: 1) Quoted us a reasonable price and came in under it. 2) Didn't try to add any hidden fees, etc. 3) Showed up on time with the right size truck, as promised 4) Moved us with an amazing amount of energy and speed (you pay them by the hour. So, one could easily see movers milking this) 5) Were incredibly careful. (they even helped us fix some of the fragile things that we didn't pack that well) read more

Dulles Logistics and Rentals found me on Thumbtack (highly recommended for anyone that has a specific project they need services for). Last Friday (8/22/14) Max and his team (Jose and Carlos) were wonderful. They showed up about 10 minutes early to situate the truck. Jose and Carlos were very efficient and careful with my belongings. I was very thankful because not all of my boxes were sealed properly, but they had extra tape just in case. We had to make a second stop before hitting the final destination, which wasn't a problem at all. There were no issues following me to our second (and final) destination. I was a little concerned about the guys being able to handle the final destination because there were no stairs (and I had about 7 large boxes filled with books), but again, they were excellent. I honestly cannot express how grateful I am to them for making the process so easy for me. I'd highly recommend them. read more

Max & his team were great!! We had lots of stairs at both locations & the movers worked hard, quickly & smoothly. They arrived on time & loaded all of the furniture efficiently on the truck so that everything fit & we only had to make one trip. This review is way overdo because we moved in October and I am still unpacking! Needless to say, moving is not fun but if you have to move, I recommend you call Max. -Movers arrived with a truck too small and movers had to make multiple trips. -None of the movers spoke or read English - Boxes marked 1st floor were found on the 4th floor and vice versa. -They ruined a sofa burning holes in the side. -They broke an accent light that they removed without our permission. -The owner agreed to replace the light, but 3 months later we are still waiting. read more

Made a reservation but upon arrival they said they had no trucks available and just left us hanging. Budget literally has one service, to provide moving trucks. They might be cheaper per mile, but it doesn't matter how much you charge per mile if you don't have a truck for me to put miles on... We ended up going to uhaul up the street, paying a few cents more per mile and....with a truck! Hurray for uhaul! read more

I worked with Max to schedule a crew for an unload of our moving truck. He was easy to work with and very accommodating given the uncertaintly of our schedule. We wound up being 6 hours late to our destination, and Max was able to move his teams around so one would be available in the evening or the next morning to unload our truck. The team was a tad late but that didn't impact us at all. We showed them the house and they got right to it. Max's estimate was 3-4 hours to unload a 26' truck, and they were done in 3 1/2 hours - spot on. He was upfront with the costs, and that estimate was also accurate. We will be moving in two years again, and we'll definitely use these guys again. read more

Working with Max and Dulles Logistics and Rentals was GREAT! I've used plenty of movers over the years, both local and out-of-state, and my experience was wonderful. I'm always hesitant hiring movers because I've had a lot of bad experiences, but this company was awesome. I was so happy that finally, after a long time and after hiring a lot of moving companies, I had a wonderful, stressless experience. I was at ease with no worries while they were packing and moving my items. I had 2 movers for my 1 bedroom local move, and they were VERY hard-working, diligent, patient, and meticulous with my items. NO HIDDEN FEES! They did exactly what they said they would do and didn't charge me any outside, unforeseen fees. Horrendous customer service experience! My husband and I showed up, and the rude woman running the business informed us that she no longer has a truck for us. She offered no solution other than too bad. Mind you, we had reserved this truck 3 days ago. This place ruined our move and I will be sure to tell all of our friends and family to never ever use this Budget location again. read more

We had an outstanding experience with Max and his moving team at Dulles Logistics and Rentals. By far, we received the best quote from this company (and I got quotes from almost 20 moving companies). The prices were fair and even though it was an hourly rate, the men worked HARD. They didn't slack off, they didn't waste time, they worked their butts off the entire time. They wrapped everything with care, they took apart anything that needed and then reassembled it at the new house, they were patient when I wasn't sure exactly where to place furniture and they were extremely careful with our belongings. They dealt with a rude new neighbor (moved the truck twice for her) and took an extremely short lunch so that they could get the job done quickly. They even worked through a 15 minute downpour without any issues! My only negative was that the team arrived late, however, I received a call from both Max and one of the movers, so I felt completely in the loop. Honestly, them being a little late helped us out in the end because we weren't entirely ready at the time they were expected to arrive. When the movers finished, I had a final conversation with Max to confirm the total which I found extremely helpful so that there were no surprises. He also made sure that we were satisfied with their work. I would highly recommend this moving company and we will definitely use them in the future!! You cannot go wrong by choosing them. read more

I arrived for my scheduled reservation on 3/1/18 and had to call a number on the door. A man answered and asked what store I was at and what my name was. The male then informed me that they had an emergency due to the wind and he would be there in 12-15 minutes. 30 minutes later he arrived and started the paperwork. I hear him on the phone telling somebody to clean out the truck and that I would follow the driver to the gas station to fill the truck up, meaning that my reserved truck was not ready for the scheduled time even with it being 35 minutes after the reservation time at this point. When I looked in the back there was still a couple of pieces of trash in it. The owner never apologized for anything and I did in fact have to meet the driver at the gas station to fill the truck up with gas. The only positive part of this encounter was that the driver was very nice and before I left said he was sorry for the inconvenience and wished me luck with the move. read more

The crew arrived a little late, but that was probably because they had difficulty finding the place. They were swift with the packing, and moving. Young guy spoke English, so that wasn't a barrier either. We were happy with the way things were moving so far, however our couch wouldn't fit through the new apts door. Us, Max' crew & apt bldg management tried for a long time, without any luck. That made us a little sad. When informed of the situation, Max suggested that the crew be sent off for another move, and assured us he'll personally come over to check the situation. He was there with 2 other guys within 30-40 mins, and did not take more than 5 mins to get it in. We really appreciate his personal attention and willingness to help. We'll recommend his service to anyone looking for a hassle free moving experience! They were well worth their quoted rate. And they've undoubtedly earned our business for future. read more

This was a wonderful moving experience for me. The movers actually showed up about 40 minutes early, which was a little bit frustrating as I had my walk through scheduled for the time they showed up. However, the work ended up taking longer than expected, and so like everything else, they seemed to know what they were doing and how the moving experience worked much better than I did. The workers were kind and courteous and placed everything exactly where and how I wanted it. They worked quickly and efficiently. I had a difficult entryway in my origination point and they were able to navigate large furniture through it that I had a hard time getting in the apartment by myself. All of my communication with the company was extremely prompt (they always responded within a half hour) and thorough. I knew exactly what I was paying for and it was well worth it! I would highly recommend this moving company, and I'm planning on using them again if I need to move in the future. read more
