This place is truly a hidden gem in the metroplex. It is located in Duncanville on camp wisdom and main. It is in the top 3 comic book store in my list. I have enjoyed my experience here. They have everything it seems. I was overwhelmed(pleasantly) by their selection of comics, toys, games, stickers, books, and what not. If you're a fan of any character of anything, you'll find lots of things you'll like. They are expensive though. I bought a "Flash" vinyl toy for which I paid $20 here whereas I found the same thing at BAM! for $9.99. P.S. they only carry used books. read more

This is definitely one of my favorite comic book shops. They have a great back-stock section and their organization is phenomenal.

Used to be one of my favorite stores, now I will not be returning! Before I start this review it is NOT about the discount, it is about the way the employee acted and spoke. I am retired military and every time I went to this store I was grateful to receive a discount for my service. It has been this way for several years. This is one of the reasons I would go to this store despite the items being "collectors prices" versus other retail stores (i.e. Pop Figures that start at $12 versus $9 at other stores. Due to Covid and other factors I have not been able to visit the store. Recently my nephew and his girlfriend were in town and I took them to the store. When we went to purchase our items, I told my nephews girlfriend to ask for the military discount since she is Active Duty. When she got to the register, she showed her Active Duty ID Card and asked for the discount. The employee at the register said "We only give discounts to Active Duty military in Uniform, no exceptions" and scoffed at us. When i asked when the policy changed, he scoffed again and stated "Look, I was just told that it is Active Duty in Uniform only." I then stated I was just curious when the change occurred because I have been to the store several times over the past 7 years and received the discount. and she only asked because I told her about the discount. He then acted irritated and stated "If it offends you that much, I will just do it and risk losing my job." No active or ex-military member would be "offended" by the lack of as discount. To be honest, I pretty much expect that in DFW, I will not receive one, but no one deserves to be spoken to like this. I have been a loyal customer of yours, and admittedly I have not been in as much as I would like, but you just lost this customer. Maybe that doesn't matter, but I will also not recommend your store anymore. As I stated above this is NOT about the discount, but I have to ask, why the specificity about being Active Duty military AND in Uniform. Your store is approximately 45 minutes from the nearest military installation. No one that I know of wants to wear their Uniform outside of their duty day. If you don't want to offer the discount that is absolutely your prerogative as a business, but the specific nature of these rules make it appear as though you don't want to provide the discount, but want to make yourself look "military friendly." Perhaps that is not the case, but unfortunately perception is king. read more

This store is Amazing! It has comic's current to silver age. They also have a large selection of board games. They have a long history of being a book store that added comics and is now adding Games into the mix. We spent almost two and a half hours with Brian talking about comics and different games into the store. Brian gave us great customer service, and recommendations on graphic novels we could enjoy on our 8 hour drive home. I would recommend stopping by. read more

I moved to the area not too long ago and have started looking for a game store. Since I live on the south side of Dallas, there's not much for options. Aparently the north side of the city has an abundance of options. I hate to ding the store one star since it's mostly a comic shop, but with their decent selection of board games it's a shame that they don't have any table space for people to play games, run demos, and host tournaments in the store. read more

The staff are always welcoming and friendly, and they offer great deals for customers with pull-lists! They have a great selection not only of comics, but all kinds of related merchandise as well. This place has everything! At first when you pull up to the store you may think it's kind of small and may not have a robust selection but you would be DEAD WRONG! I actually shopped here before it was the current store(back when it was Duncanville Books and Gifts) and it still had a huge selection but now it is aimed more for collectors of comic book memorabilia and gaming(cards and what-not, didn't see any electronic consoles). Management is very friendly too, I came in wearing a psychedelic Batman symbol shirt and the guy behind the counter mentioned to me not once, but TWICE about how much he liked it. He showed me where a bunch of cool Batman collector stuff was and we even chatted about him a bit. 10/10! My wallet will be weary of this place :) read more

If you are a fan of books, comics, and toys, this is the store for you! Wow what a selection!! Love it. I always find something here. They have a great selection of used books, old toys, back issue comics, and new comics. They also provide a subscription service to new comics. It will be difficult to find this place the first time, yes...it's way back there in an awkward spot...behind the railroad tracks...once you find it, you'll never forget how to get there and won't be able to wait until you can get back!! read more
