The store definitely generates a welcoming environment and has plenty of room for game nights. They also had a small food bar that was just a perfect snack. In regards to their card selection they have a massive selection of all TCG games and an equally big board game wall for you to try out. Can't wait to go back

It also hosts tournaments and game demos, of which schedule can be found on the store website or social. The only minus point is there is no shipping if you're from out of town. But that what keeps this place a hidden gem of DFW.

Not the place I'd go for funkos or toys or whatnot - this place is all about comics. Had a decent amount of back issues, but no dollar bins; oh well, can't have everything. I asked my husband to go with me and that's how we ended up here. So we found the boxes and proceeded to grab 5 of them. We noticed that the self checkouts were all card only, but one. The guy in front of us used it and then walked away- so we went to the register. The lady looked at us and was like "ugh, can I help you" and we said yes we have these. She was talking on the radio and kept telling us to use a self checkout and I said I had cash. She was like ugh and said I will see if I can get someone here. Mind you we were standing in front of her for more than 5mins. And My husband was like no it's fine don't worry about it he would just use his card and she just was like okay and walked away. I understand if you're are in between something, but being in retail you assist the customer or explain the situation like "I'm sorry I don't work up here, but I can definitely have someone come up here to help you if you don't mind waiting for a minute," but no she just doesn't say anything and was like she wanted to get away and rolled her eyes.

With the 4th of July coming up, I wanted our house to show our patriotic spirit for the USA! They also feature a ton of flags online, of all types and varieties, and I believe they ship nationwide. Anyway, the woman that helped me was INCREDIBLY nice and informative. She showed me all of their great options, and everything was very affordable. She told me they are the oldest flag store in Texas, having opened in the 30s by a hard-working, spirited woman who lost her husband during the depression. She's 100 years old today, and still living life! This thrilled me...I love supporting a business that's been around for generations, that was built by such a strong person. I can't recommend them enough if you're in search of a flag-excellent experience!
