Well, this formerly good car wash is officially dead. I used to drive up and tell the guy that I wanted interior/exterior service, sit through the exterior wash, and then drive along the side of the building for the interior service. Usually pretty good, if expensive. Today I found that you now have to pull into the BP station proper--NOT the old building--and those employees will wash your car. However, the genius doing my car locked the keys in the car with the engine running. Of course, it was my fault even though I was inside the waiting area when he did it. The owner had to drive me home (while my car was running) to get the spare keys. They acted like I was unreasonable for being upset. Although I demanded and received a full refund, they made me late for other appointments and took 40 minutes of my life I'll never get back. A little better English and a little less attitude would have helped the situation but they just aren't able to do it. I would give them a -0- rating, but one star is as low as I can go. read more

This is not Touchless. They use the same brush to clean every car that comes through. And then they use towels to dry. Touchless would be if they had the machine spraying and drying was done by a blowing. That was my one and only experience here. Guy spraying the water is very incompetent and has very ambiguous hand gestures and you don't know when he's telling you to stop. Meanwhile, my car goes through the wash and no water ever sprays on it. They talk to me like I'm stupid and never been through conveyor car wash before...I go through one every week. It was evident that their machine had malfunctioned yet they let out on a customer. I got my refund and went to the Arlington Car Wash in Arlington Heights, where it is actually touchless and they know how to treat customers. All far less money as well. Glad this was my one and only experience here and they never got a dime out of me. read more

Do NOT come here for any kind of auto detailing work. I spent $150 for a full detail, interior and exterior. The car wasn't even CLEAN when it came back and there were giant areas of wax that were not removed. The interior was given the "once over" with a towel but there was still dust in the vents and cracks and layers of dirt that went uncleaned. The engine bay was filthy and not touched whatsoever which is something I'd expect out of a full detail. They do not clay bar the exterior either. In the end, I paid $150 for a lousy car wash and wax just to bring the car home and redo everything myself. STAY AWAY. To be clear, this is the car wash & detailing shop attached to the BP gas station on Dundee in Wheeling, IL. The only thing they have going for them is free air for tires. The gas prices are even higher than other stations in the area. read more

Good car wash. I ordered the top priced wash and the end result was good. I ordered the tire shining as an extra. But while I was waiting for the shine, all of the employees drying the cars and doing the detailing were gathered around the front of my car and talking to each other. I finally got the ok to drive off, and when I got home, one tire was done, and only one other had some tire shine sprayed on it, but not wiped down. So, WTH? The drive through wash great, but the service and the detailing was not good at all. read more

Summary: Avoid! Odd and rude! I called to ask for an estimate on a repair. I also asked where he gets his parts, OEM or secondary markets. He did not want to answer. The repair required a specific part that was not available in secondary markets and I wanted an estimate of how much he may charge for the parts and how long it would take to get in. The person's response was really odd. He told me if I wanted to know that, I should fix the car myself. What? All I wanted was an estimate over the phone. The car does not work and he wanted me to tow the car over without even an idea of what he may charge me for the work. This place should go out of business given his response. He is obviously mental and has no idea how to run a business. He was very rude and ended hanging up on me. read more

They do a good job washing your car, but 10$ for Silver delux plus another 10$ for inside? 20$ total in my opinion is too expensive.

Love this place. I recognized the business name when I was looking around for a good touch-free car wash in the area. Turns out the local computer shop that I work for has built computers for their business. Figured I would give them my business and try their wash. I have been back twice more. I typically get the $10 Silver wash ($7 with online coupon) and it gives me the little extra things I want (chassis bath, rust inhibitor, wheel wash) during the winter when I can't wash my car out in the driveway. Great value. I recently sampled a competitor's hand wash with a coupon I had received in the mail, but I think I will be coming back to Dundee and Wolf. Tip: Guaranteed that the lines will be long when it warms up above freezing during the winter. Build this into your schedule. I didn't, and I was burned. Luckily I was beaming at my clean car so much that I didn't care. read more

This shop has it all: professional, courteous, honest, with very reasonable & reliable service from the mechanics, to the car wash, to the shop, to the owner. They have earned our repeat business for over 10 years (we bring all sorts of vehicles to them on a weekly basis). They are always super accommodating and do more than they need to in order to make us happy. $48 to see what was wrong with my car. They gave me an estimate of $2500 to replace the engine which seemed reasonable. They let me keep my car in there lot for a week without charging me. They offered to give me a ride to the metra station. Free coffee. Note: I didn't actually get any work done by them I decided to sell the car instead. read more

Car wash was quick and cheap. The two hand dryers at the end of the car wash or using very dirty white towels. Looks like they cleaned about 20 cars before hand with them. So they are rubbing dirt back into the car? Discouraging after u spend good money to get your car cleaned in the first place. read more

The best A-1 service . I get gas here all the time and I decided to get my car waxed. I saw they did car wash and detail I got the whole car done inside out and it looks brand new. They were on time and the people there are real nice. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a great car wash or a complete detail. read more

Went here was car wash. $8 for exterior wash. My car had a lot of bird droppings stuck on it. When I came out of the washer, the guys who had dry the car told me to go around for a second wash for free. It's good to see these guys actually care that they do a good job. read more

Staff is friendly but I was disappointed. One of the most important services of the car wash is the chassis bath. I did not see any mist spraying up at the station that had the neon "Chassis bath" sign. When I got home, I could boost the car a little and wipe under the rear fender -- dirty, not cleaned at all. If that function of the car wash was not operating, they should tell customers in advance, and not charge them for it read more
