Save your money and get the $5.00 wash, then wipe down the outside where water remains, then vacuum and clean the inside yourself. This is the only way you'll be satisfied even though you'll be doing the inside work yourself. read more

Horrible experience. Was my first time there and was not sure what to do. After I paid for the service the guy who barely spoke English yelled at me to go inside. Not sure what he meant (he meant to drive inside the wash) I parked where they detail cars. He came over, said "no wash for you, too many changes, give your money back" and refused to service my car. I said I was going to give him a bad review and he said he didn't care. I felt like I was at a soup nazi place in Seinfeld. Not as expected. Exterior 80% cleaned and interior 70% cleaned. Check the photos. Paid $15 plus $10 for inside and this is not clean. Don't waste your money here. This place is a waste of money for the price. I have been to other places that have done lot better service for the price. And when told the guy he missed spots he said i would have to spend more money to get that clean so what did I spend $25 for. Last 3 washes this month were not good. Soap remains after rinse cycle. The hand dry is a joke. they wiped the windows, mirrors and a small section of the hood. The do not dry the side panels or doors. White streaks remain after the side areas not wiped dry. They used to be better. read more

This car wash is very conveniently located close to work & I have used it before with mixed results. Never again. During a recent visit, the car was not even close to being clean after going through the wash. I asked to see a manager and they left me waiting in my car. Eventually, I went in, got the manager & showed him the still (very) dirty car, he responded that because I bought the inexpensive outside-only wash, I was out of luck. Nowhere is there a disclaimer that says "if you buy this option, we don't have to actually clean your car." He told me I could buy another wash. They refused to make good on my wash purchase. I love this place! I've been going here for a couple of years, though I regret to say that I'm pretty bad about taking care of my car. Regardless, this place is super fast and convenient and does a good job, to my standards. They have an automated machine to swipe your card and choose your option, although somebody usually comes out to work the machine for you. Sure, they try to upsell you sometimes, but I politely say no (usually) and they don't mind. They're always very friendly. They're really reasonably priced, too. It's only $5 for an express wash (maybe the price increased since Will R.'s review in April) plus the tip for the guys that towel dry. I'm usually in and out in 3-5 minutes. (Their interior/exterior is also really fast and they've always done a fantastic job in my book!) read more

It's $3 for a car wash plus tip to have 2 guys dry the car with towels. They are the Jimmy Johns of car washes. Super fast. Use credit card to swipe and go. It's so cheap the monthly car wash card doesn't make sense. I'd have to wash my car more than twice per week to breakeven. They are victim of their own success. :-) read more

I have to update this review after going there on 3/26/2013. I am so disappointed with the level of service I was given. I had the basic in and out package - 14 bucks + tips (I always tip!). The interior job was a disaster. They didn't even rinse out my carpet protector. Please see attached picture. I had a soda spill a week ago and I can still make out that they didn't clean those out appropriately. The big let-down was that they broke my license plate holder (front). I brought it to the service guy's attention that my license plate and the holder were gone. They had to look for it and when they brought them out, they said that the type of holder I had always breaks. They also indicated to me that it happened to other customers as well. If they knew my type of holder would break, shouldn't they say something in advance before it breaks? The bottom line is, I guess, they just don't care and don't respect my possession. I am beyond disappointed after this service. I hadn't had any problems in the past and this is just bad. What happened to you guys? read more

I recently brought my car in for an interior detailing. The inside was so full of dog hair, it was a mess. These guys did an awesome job. Car came back perfectly clean inside, and no sign of dog hair. I highly recommend. Only downside was they said it would take 4-5 hrs, after 6 1/2 hrs, could not got an answer on phone so went to pick up, car was ready after a very short wait. read more

Been having my loyalty membership here for nearly a year and I love it! I wash my car 2-3 times a week and get interior cleaned once or twice a week. Each time I have not been disappointed. SO DISAPPOINTED! Don't go here! If I could give them zero or negative stars I would. Lazy workers that use the same grungy rag for inside and out - the inside windows are greasy and smudged! The outside is not wiped down all the way - they only wiped as far as they deigned to reach! After asking numerous times to have spots and marks removed, the men wiping down the inside and outside of the car just refused to do as I asked. Finally my husband said let's go. I could understand IF there were a lot of people waiting for interior cleaning but we were the ONLY car and they still did a crummy job. Was my first time in this car wash, paid $24 $12 for Ultimate exterior and $12 for the interior and this what I got and then when I complained they didn't give me a refresher for the first time I needed to come back because they didn't ask me and it's included and also when I complain they said we wipe it I said this is not a wipe because you still have the dirt we need to scrub with special product and it's extra charge it's different wash , so I said it's not true I can do it myself only because I'm pregnant it's harder for me to do that myself , so in the end I did it myself and looks perfect like all the other car wash that I was going to ,to this one for sure I'm not coming back here is what I got after the wash. read more

My car was a mess after not being cleaned on the inside for a few months. I have 3 kids and there crumbs everywhere. I paid for the Royal Touch Car Wash which was an interior and exterior clean. The outside of the car looked like it ran through a "water only" car wash. The guys did a decent job vacuuming the inside of my car, but that was all that was good. There was some dried up drink spilled that they did not attempt to clean, and the windows were streaky. Next time I will pay a little more to go somewhere super thorough. read more

Bait & Switch! Called earlier in the week and told them exactly what car I had and they quoted me $199 for a complete detail. When I showed up for my appointment the same guy informed me that the $199 price was only for sub compact cars and that mine would be significantly more. I own a sonata it's not a big car. I've been going to this car wash for several years. Overall it's a pretty good car wash and I never have experienced the issues that the other reviews mentioned. Yes, they do try to up-sale you but what car wash doesn't these days. My only complaint is that what I believe to be the overspray from "tire shine" wax seems to get all over the side of the car which is noticeable on a black car. Otherwise I'd give the place 5-stars. read more

Why would a business with two locations in Des Plaines and Buffalo Grove have a District Manager??? Anyway, John was his name and he came to the phone. He knew who was calling, but when I asked about the coupon he promised, he's response, as expected previously, was "I did not send it and am not going to." When I asked him why would that be, he said because I left a bad review. I asked him if anything in my review was a lie, but he never gave me an answer, because obviously all of it was true. Plus, my review was posted more than 24 hours after I initially spoke with this "John". He was not even planning on sending anything and would come up with more lies to avoid do in that. So, the only questions I have is what kind of self-respecting business would treat customers that way? And what kind of MAN would not keep his promise? I don't think I have to answer them, it is pretty obvious!!! Current Experience (6-14-2014) - Recently washed my car there, but will not come back. This house is full of slackers. I chose the royal touch ($23), but there was no touch at all. They did not was door jams, rear glass and there was plenty of dust in the car. Attendants were lying to me when I asked for manager telling me he is not there, but he was in another room. They asked me to leave the area and sit in the wait room, while another driver was standing next to his car the whole time. District Manager John said he will e-mail me a free coupon for another wash to compensate for troubles, but I am yet to receive it. I am sure it will never arrive. Previous experience - They scratched two rims on my car and pretended like nothing happened even after reviewing the video from their cameras and seeing the car jump the railing. Damage and denial, that is my latest experience. I thought this place was good, but I was wrong. It's not about sloppy or incomplete service, it is worse. Last car wash there (ever), their rag left a streaky film on my car that won't wash off. I spent an hour polishing out a two square foot spot. It does come out but it's going to take me 20 hours to get it all off. I think it is from the solvents that didn't rinse off and got on the rag, or the rag had it somehow. I complained but they don't know how they did it and just flatly denied any responsibility. I have a lesser car that I would wash there, if I had to, but I won't take a nice car there again. I can't afford the time to fix the damage and I'm not going to pay $400 to have it polished out. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

I work around the corner and am a monthly wash subscriber (prepaid for a year). It is a quick in-and-out wash and they do a great job. I typically will swing in once a month and have them do the interior as well and they are generally quick and efficient. The employees are friendly and take care of the little things when drying the car. My recommendations for improvement... - A prepaid tip program. Sometimes I swing through and have no cash in my pocket and if I could pre-tip the guys I would could be in and out not have to monkey around tipping every time... - Online scheduling of car detailing...It does not take 20 minutes...who are we kidding? I live near this location and go there often. They consistently do a good job, but today they were outstanding! The inside of my car was absolutely filthy - dog hair, food, spilled drinks, mud, etc. they were pretty busy, but still had 3 people working on my car and were as polite as can be even though this was a challenging job.
