Have used Northwest Car Wash for years. Business product continues to decline in recent years. Monday the 15th June was a $38 wash as I usually get. Not a simple wash. For about a year they do not clean aluminum wheels of dirt and brake dust that can lead to corrosion if left unattended. The auto wash machine does not clean the wheels of brake dust and road dirt. The two people towel wiping the car did not do the wheels with a towel to remove the dirt. I got a towel and wiped the aluminum wheels, the two people saying the car was ready just laughed. Neither speak English when I asked about dirt still on wheels. Laughing lazy bad attitude people get zero tip. Poor service and bad attitude of the owner on training and staff selection is what Northwest Car Wash has become, go elsewhere. Learn how to wash your car wheels if you chose this place for a car wash. Wipe down is also spotty, poor workmanship and supervision dies not work. Front of car remains with bug spots. Finish the wheel wash at home and get the front of the car clean yourself. Also unable to understand man at the payment counter, poor English. I loved this car wash so much that I drive 30 minutes to go there. I buy the car wash packages. The last time someone gave me a package as a gift. I upgraded it to platinum. At that time they didn't have the cards so they gave me paper cards. Every time I go there now they give me a hard time about the rewash within 21 days because I don't have the right card. I have never used the rewash, but it's the principle that comes with the platinum wash. Today the guy tells me that they're not doing the gas deal with the packages. Unfortunately, I have 12 more washes and I've been gifted from friends and family. Once they're done, I will find a new place. read more

The auto wash front man is great. Very helpful. I paid $30 for Silver wash plus shampooed matts. Interior vacuuming was just okay. I could do a better job myself. I thot they have special attachments to get in crevices, but Not. Windshield inside was 2/3 clean. Disappointing. Wheel rims were 70% clean of brake dust. Door jams were done. For $30, I expected better. Tipped $10 for a two man team but with regret after looking over the job done. read more

I would always go there back in the 80s because they were the best. I haven't gone there in such a long time I figured I would try it out again. Spent $26 on wash and tip. Didn't really look at it I till I was home and at that point I have decided to never go back. I was expecting my car to look somewhat good but instead looks terrible. We used to go there every so often, but we will never go back. Not only did they not do a good job cleaning the interior, but the "manager?" (Mark?), yelled at my wife. He kept yelling that our car was "disgusting" because the cup holders were a little "sticky." They didn't wipe fingerprints from the display screen and windows were still dirty. And to top it off, the employees were overly pushy for a tip. This was with the supposed "Gold" package... Not sorry to say we'll not be going back there. Nice spot for a deeper carwash / light detailing. About the standard $22-25 for washed/waxed exterior, vacuum (incl trunk), and interior wipe down. Had always mistakenly assumed it was detailing only (at $99-?) and had bypassed it to make a trip to Raceway... this is closer and seems to have more friendly employees - so... yeah. I've been coming here for over 20 years. In my opinion it's the best place to get your car washed or detailed. ALL of the staff are hardworking and helpful. Jorge is usually the guy working the shed at the beginning of the wash. He has worked there for years and no matter how long it's been since I've been there he remembers my name and greets me with a smile. Holy Moley! I finally found a not too expensive place to get my car washed and taken in for a nice clean, inside and out. I have taken my car a couple of times and I have always come out satisfied. My first car, which was white, looked beyond pristine and they treated it as such. They wipe down the windows and dash without any residue. I bought a new car, black, and took it recently and they washed inside and out. They made sure there wasn't any streaking on the windows and when my plate fell, they fixed it, no complaints. My husband took his car and he came back with a bit of streaking towards the bottom of the windshield. I was a bit disappointed because it was noticeable. However, if you aren't happy with how clean your car is, they will fix it to make sure you leave happy. You can also watch your car go through with windows along the corridor! You can do an express wash for $5.95 or the basic beginning wash at $17.95. It goes up from there. No matter what, your car gets dried, which is nice. Best car wash I've ever had! This is going to be my regular spot from now on for car washes. They cleaned my car better than I've ever had done - that's for sure. If you get gas, you get 20 cents off per gallon if you opt for a car wash. Woohah! They have a few car wash options, I opted for the $19.95 wash - The Gold! It includes dashboard, center console, door sills, door panels, seat backs and lower seat trim cleaning. Cup holders and storage trays cleaned, floor & seats all vacuumed, all windows cleaned, door jams cleaned, brake dust removed, white walls & letters bleached and cleaned, under carriage flush plus sealer wax. I almost got the $14.95 carwash but that didn't include quite so much inside cleaning and that's what I was after. My car was a hot mess on the inside and it looks friggin spectacular now! They did such a good job on my car inside and out. They also have a convenience store with quite a few things inside because it's also a gas station. Yep, I'm totally into this location. I had my wife's 2013 G35x detailed for $199.95. I was impressed with the friendliness of the front person but that is where my satisfaction ended. The interior was pretty clean going in so it was not a big job cleaning it. The exterior needed some attention to a few bumper scuffs that are on the surface. To my disappointment the paint scuff was still there when my wife picked it up. Come on. You did not have rubbing compound to clean that up? Second, the rims were not touched. Brake dust was left just like it came out of their car wash! It looks like I paid for an expensive wax job. Not a detail. I can not recommend them for a car detail. read more

I came out from the city to get my car detailed and they so kindly spent about three hours on my car buffing out the nasty drip that my car got stuck on after sitting in a package garage downtown. Disappointed!!! Wanted a full DETAILING (interior, exterior, trunk and wheels. If I could give it less than one star I would. This is what the itemized receipt said: Paid $184.95 $26.95 Platinum $133.00 Triple Exprs $25.00 Xtra Service After picking up the vehicle (Friday) placing it in the garage and letting it dry with the windows open for 3 days, I noticed that the seats weren't really clean and neither were the wheels. Brought the vehicle back to Northwest Auto Wash, explained my concerns. the representative actually had the nerve to say "You're expecting an awful lot for a $180 detailing". If a platinum wash is $27 I do expect at least 7 times the job of a platinum wash. I have had detail jobs that cost $30 less, exterior, interior, trunk, wheels and then they open up the hood and clean any and all the plastic under the hood. You could wipe the dirt off the wheels (dirt that shouldn't be there) with a finger. I'm just asking for the job to be done the right way. Seems like poor customer service read more

Not cool people. Speaking to a female associate, 12:47 today, over the phone about interior cleaning pricing and wait time, I was disheartened after my drive across town. My trip was due to a proclaimed wait time of about 15min. Although, upon arrival, I was told that no interior cleaning services could be performed because... they were busy. Just ok. I paid $23. Know this- you're paying for a machine wash, and a hand dry and vacuum. That means the car isn't really going to be very clean when it exits the wash, and they're relying on the drying to get the remaining dirt. There's no way that isn't going to produce some scratches. IMO, that's pricey for the results I got, even with the nice fuel discount. My car is still not what I would consider clean if I was washing it myself. TBH, if you're good with an okay machine wash and want someone to vacuum and dry for you, go ahead. Personally, I don't find that worth the premium, and I'm probably not the right customer. I'll spend a few more dollars for a hand wash next time. read more

A few days ago I had given a poor review to this establishment that I would now like to retract. After the owner, Greg had seen my post he responded very quickly and assured me that if I came back in that my vehicle would be properly taken care of and that I would be refunded my previous visit. I met with their manager, Megan this morning who was nothing but kind and helpful. I left today very satisfied with my beautifully cleaned jeep. I can now see that my first visit just happened to be one bad incident and I will most definitely be going back here for future services. The entire staff was so friendly and welcoming and they truly did a spectacular job on my car. I could not be happier with the kindness and professionalism that everyone used with my situation, and with how I observed the employees with all of their other customers as well. read more

Like everyone else on here, I saw the good reviews and decided to give it a try. Well, I called in this morning asking about their carpet/mat cleaning package($59) and asked if I needed to set an appointment. The lady who answered said no need, and for me to just come on in and they'll take care of me. I replied that I would be over there at lunch. Ok, so on my lunch break I drive half an hour to this place, go up to the lady who I spoke with and re-introduced myself. I asked for the package and she said she would have to check with her crew to see if they were available to clean it. After speaking with them, she said that the crew didn't have time to clean my carpet. She said to call them back later and check if they had time to clean my carpets. I tried explaining to her that I DID call and check if they had time, but she didn't seem to care or want to hear about my wasted time. First off, I DID call before hand to check if you offered the service, and whether or not I should come in right now. It doesn't bother me that you guys were busy, that's fine and natural. It BOTHERS me that you didn't tell me you were busy over the phone, had me come in just to tell me that you actually didn't have time, and then appear to not care that I had wasted an hour driving back and forth. I can't attest to the quality of your cleaning, but I can attest to the fact that your customer service, in this instance, was VERY disappointing. read more

Read all the reviews and tried the place. I purchased the platinum plus. The job was horrible. When I got home I had to clean the windows to get rid of the film of dirt still on the inside of the car. I had to clean the dash because of the streaking. The car was not properly cleaned. Gary and Bob reached out asking that I give them another try. I will edit this based on my next two experiences. I sincerely hope that I have the experience that most others had. Tried the same wash again, and pleased this time around. I was confident of the their capability and just had the SUV fully detailed. Marks work is fabulous. The detailing is meticulous. This is my go to car wash place. They do EVERYTHING for you at a price, of course. It's not your typical gas station car wash place but they do offer gas at a 35 cent discount if you purchase a car wash. I typically get the gold wash which includes a wheel blast, sealer wax, under carriage wash, interior cleaning (wiping down the dashboard, cup holders, windows, and vacuuming) and a 3 day free re-wash for $19.95. I know it's A LOT to pay for a wash but I get it once every 3 months. A treat for my car and a treat for me since I'm too lazy to vacuum the car myself :) The wash itself is very thorough and the guys do a great job at cleaning the interior as well! I had a text coupon for $9 discount off my next wash. It expired on 7/22/18. Unfortunately it was closed due to rain on 7/22. So I went today(one day later) and cashier, Taylor said very bluntly, "It's expired" and ranged up the full amount. Very rude. I pushed the issue and she directed me to the owner who was just leaving in his $80,000 Mercedes Benz. I went up to his window and very nicely told him I was not looking for anything but what happened and suggested they should have acknowledged my coupon. He said he was sorry and pulled away.
