This was a small spot with seating available outside. There might have been a table or two indoors as well. They had a lot to offer ranging from bagels to mini donuts to deli sandwiches. The ordering process was simple, and the food was ready quickly. I had a chicken salad on a garlic bagel ($8.99?) as well as trying six mini donuts ($7.50?). The chicken salad also came with a potato salad, coleslaw, or a pickle. I opted for a pickle that was decent. The chicken salad was the highlight of the sandwich. It was all white meat with an ideal helping of mayonnaise and other seasoning. The garlic bagel was alright, nice texture, but a little small. It was nice to see the amount of chicken salad present. The donuts I tried are below. All the donuts were light. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - This was alright. It seemed to be more of a chocolate flavor rather than cookie dough. There was not a great balance here. Strawberry Shortcake - This was a vanilla donut with buttercream icing and a strawberry. I thought the buttercream icing would be too sweet, but that was not the case at all. It was delicate and complimented the lone strawberry piece nicely. Apple Crumb Cake - This was an apple crunch donut with rolled sugar and topped with apple compete, homemade graham cracker pie crust and drizzled with vanilla frosting. This was easily the best one. The warm apple complete and the homemade graham cracker crust made for an unbelievable combination. The sugar did not hurt either. Oreo Crunch - This was essentially just Oreo pieces with vanilla icing. It was not bad. I thought there were too many Oreo crumbles and pieces. The donut layer was hardly tasted. Maple Bacon Waffle - This was a vanilla donut in a maple glaze with a mini waffle and bacon pieces. I am not a huge fan of bacon on a donut, but this one of the better ones I tried. The bacon went well with the waffle and maple glaze. My only issue was the waffle. It was a little stale, but I imagine because it just lays on the donut as it was not made to order. Jelly - This was a traditional jelly donut with sugar. This was good. The jelly was thick and enough was present where every bite had a taste of jelly. The jelly I believe was of the raspberry variety. Will I go back? Yes. read more

I spent a lot more time in this shop because it's clean sharp happy and the owners and workers are so dang friendly. With an ever changing variety of tasty and creative treats and a couple stall worthy staples every visit gives you an opportunity to sample several! SEVERAL!!! That's a food dude's dream. No guilt... Tim a retired first responder and his lovely wife both did their research and made sure their coffee was as good or better that any other place around. Stopped in here for a quick lunch and to pick up a dozen donuts. The spicy roast beef wrap was delicious! Comes with a side of homemade potato salad, which was decent. The dozen donuts were so pretty! Definitely a crowd pleaser. The donuts themselves were good, but nothing to write home about. Either way, I think this small business is a great place to check out while you're in town. They even deliver straight to your beach chair using their dune buggy, which I think is so cute! read more

Came here last weekend for breakfast during a spur of the moment beach trip to Spring Lake as this was the least busiest option available. If you're from the area or venture down the shore during the summer, then you can imagine how crowded everything was on a Sunday during Labor Day weekend! Although a bit cluttered and unorganized, the line moved pretty quickly and we got our food within 15 minutes. I ordered a pork roll, egg and cheese (hangover cure) on an everything bagel and a dozen miniature donuts. The sandwich was delicious and actually had a fairly large portion of ham and eggs, which I always appreciate. They had a huge variety of flavored mini-donuts so we got a wide assortment such as Cinnamon Toast Crunch, coconut flaked, glazed, and some other random selections. They're probably a little too expensive for mini-donuts ($1.50 a pop), but they were tasty and fun. They also have a speciality sandwich called the Beached Whale (I think?) that is a food challenge and if you finish, then you get your picture on the wall. If I wasn't in my current diminished mental state, then I would have attempted as it looked massively delicious, yet achievable! Positive experience overall and will definitely come again when I'm back in Spring Lake. Also, they apparently delivery to the beach? That's pretty cool! read more

I'd go back if the bagel was worth the salty attitude, but unfortunately it wasn't: it was small and the stale-kind of chewy. Went early on a weekend morning,ordered two egg sandwiches and waited 30 minutes. The place was empty, just staff moving around while owner/Manger barked at them. When I was given my sandwiches, I commented that it took a long time. The owner went on a rant about can't find people to work...there were about 5 people behind the counter plus him. Sandwiches were fine, not worth 30 minutes. Bottom line, treat customers and employees with respect, they come back. Don't and they won't (we won't be back). read more

This is a must stop in Spring Lake. The 2-3 bite donuts are incredible. The flavors range from traditional to unique and each one is better than the last. Fortunately, because of their size, you can try them all. As a side...I was stuck waiting for a flat tire fix. The owner took me in her electric delivery cart to the only open public restrooms in the area and then even picked me up. When I saw Dune Donuts and Bagel open its doors, I was more than excited to check it out. I have tried their breakfast sandwiches and donuts. The breakfast sandwiches are out of this world.
