I called three offices in the area, and Steim Family Dentist was the only one that offered to get me in the next day!! Fast forward to procedure day. The front desk employees are welcoming and efficient. The office is clean and cozy. The dental assistant was so cheerful and helpful. She made sure I was comfortable and helped me feel calm. Another woman came in to inject the numbing medication. This woman was the absolute best!!!! I never felt the pinch or the pressure of the injection that I have always experienced in the past! Since several dentists had previously told me it couldn't be fixed, I assumed he meant someday--with an expensive procedure or implant. I certainly didn't think he meant that day! Imagine my surprise when he finished filling all three cavities and handed me a mirror. The fissure was gone! I was in tears. It was all I could do not to hug them both!
