Store #1265 RENAE IS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!!! My son and I went shopping for him to buy some protective football gear as his last season is approaching in High School and also some items to wrap up his summer clothes. This store had everything we were looking for! When we went to checkout our items we were greeted by a lovely, happy, cheerful associate name Renae... she went over and beyond to help me and my son with coupons we didn't know we had and was soooo pleasant I was extremely impressed by her professionalism and her fantastic personality! I think she should be a manager 100% and if every store had employees like Renae people wouldn't online shop anymore. She's the MAIN reason why I'll be back to that store, then the clothes! The manager Steve was also nice and rewarded Renae with a High Five gift card for her excellent customer service. He's a great manager as well. I was fortunate to have a very helpful salesperson there. My son had surgery and I needed a specific item. Not only did he guide me. He asked if he could give me a hug. it was a beautiful experience for me. Don't put every young person in that category. I'll never forget him. read more

So last three trips have been awesome. Helpful and knowledgeable employees. Store it's clean organized and prices are right. I have seen teen/early 20s people walking around acting suspicious. I've pulled store security before and know the behavior of shoplifters. So when i read the negative comments I would give them a huge grain of salt. Nice job everyone read more

While shopping today I picked out a new glove for my godson. Sign says 20% off. Get up to the register with my husband and I get attitude from both cashiers. After my husband went to actually get the sign to show them.... All while a line waited the 20% finally was taken off. Poor customer service Poor attitude All in all will stick to Amazon.com in the future for sporting good needs ( written by my mother and father as they had the bad encounter) My mom used words such as snarky and nasty describing how the cashiers treated her. read more

The blonde manager is the biggest joke of a manager. No class and so unprofessional. She physically touched my brother and then tried to accuse me of stealing even though I was trying to purchase a 2,000 dollar basketball hoop and bringing her business. She was so unprofessional it was unbelievable. I'm 22 years old and asked me to stay with my parent because I was wandering alone? What the heck! I've never heard of something like this... Will never be back and that is Forsure. The other employees are miserable also because of her - which also affects other customers. Learn to run a business without running it to the ground! read more

Absolutely ABYSMAL customer service. The "manager" followed my friend and I around this store as if we were going to steal something then hid her name tag when confronted about her actions. I was absolutely appalled! This is after we entered the store and was not greeted by a single employee despite there being several positioned toward the front of the store. The "manager" was an older woman with an accent and a really awful attitude. There are a ton of other sporting good stores in the area. Avoid this one. read more

I called four local michigan stores today to ensure they had the item in stock before driving there. I never shop at dunhams but a friend bought a goif club i liked there and i wanted one. I called westbloomfikd store 4 times . they left me on hold for over 7 min twice, disconnected me once after 6 min and last call i explained i was left in hold so at least she came back after 6 min to say no one was going to help me. Called two orher stores and was left in hold 8 min and 7 min before i hung up. Is this their idea of customer service. Why woukd anyone shop there??? I would have given no stars if possible. read more

Poorly ran store. Was looking at shoes and made direct eye contact with an employee and they walked away without acknowledging me. Finally sought out another salesperson who helped me. I picked up a few shirts I wanted to try on. Fitting room is locked. I ring a bell to bring them to unlock it. No one shows up. I put the items back and went to dicks 5 seconds down the road. I'm giving up on this location. read more

If you enjoy your alone time without any help from those pesky employees, then this is the place for you. Not only will you be consistently ignored by each individual, but they will even refuse to help you if you ask. The only reason this place received a star at all is because Yelp won't allow me to give a zero star rating. If you don't like how you've been treated, go ahead and complain to the corporate office. You'll at least get a coupon so you can be ignored at a cheaper rate....but don't expect any type of apology. Would rather pay higher prices at a place that respects my time and is willing to answer my questions than give this sorry excuse for a company another hard earned dollar. read more

This place is the worst everything is scattered across the store, like sports I couldn't find a volley ball and there soccer balls are on opposite ends as the football and basket balls are in the very back, definitely go to Dicks then Dunhams read more
