We never received a confirmation email for the order. The Wednesday after we received my daughter's shoes. December 5 I called the store to ask why we still hadn't received my son's shoes. I was initially told to call customer service, but then told (almost in the same breath) that they received them in store that day and would be shipped out the next day. Ten minutes later, I got a call from the store saying they were wrong and it wasn't our order they got, but someone else's. They again gave me the number for customer service. I called the number provided and it was a completely different company. I googled a customer service number and called that number. Talked to a lady who told me I would need to call back the next day because the store had already closed for the day and they needed to confirm with them what was going on with my order. Called again the next day and was told that shoe is no longer in stock. A refund was supposedly processed. I was told they cannot issue refunds to debit cards, which was my original form of payment, so I provided them a credit card number, as my only other options were to wait for a check or to drive out to the store and get my refund (the store is an hour away from my home). I was told 3-5 business days and the refund would post. Yesterday was 5 days and, you guessed it - no refund! I again called customer service and was told they tried to refund it to the original form of payment but couldn't because it's a debit card. I explained that I gave them a separate credit card number because I was told it couldn't be issued to a debit. They gave me some line about not keeping the original form of payment on file, so they couldn't possibly have tried to issue to that. But then I was told a refund was approved yesterday and a check would be sent in 7-10 business days, which now puts us out $100 for well over a month right before Xmas. They didn't even offer to overnight the check and of course the processing department for refunds doesn't take calls! This company has failed at every opportunity to provide the bare minimum of customer service. I will never buy anything from them again.

No other way to know your discount as they only tell you the percentage. Have to figure out yourself. When I went to checkout, it was not what I scanned, so I told the guy at register(young male). Not a very friendly person. Tried to tell me it was more than what I scanned. Basically, sounded like he didn't believe me!! So I scanned it in FRONT of him like THREE TIMES-as after the first time he still refused it. Ended up calling over the manager(also not friendly-young female). So then she tries to say it's an online price-which MY MICHAELS I go to in LAPEER has never had an issue with by the way as THEY say it's allowed. Anyway-she ended up doing it, and I told her that if your not going to have scanners in your store & people are using the MICHAELS APP to scan what they want to buy, then what's the problem? She actually told ME TO CALL CORPORATE & complain as that's who pulled the scanners. I'm sorry HONEY-wouldn't that be YOUR RESPONSIBILITY AS A MANAGER?? I have NEVER HAD AN ISSUE with any other Michaels shopping using my app. Hmm.

I submitted a request on the Shop app to the seller that I never received the item and didn't get a response. Called my credit card, and they couldn't reach the business as well. Took a chance ordering from out of state, and alas no shoes, feeling scammed.

Had an FFL Transfer sent here, gun was dropped, chipped and dented prior to being in my hands…read more I was promised to be shown video proof that no damage was done to my firearm while in their hands, owner said he would have video on a SD card for me, i gave him a call and he didnt even have the video on SD and never showed me the video while i was there. Said his office lady was not in and would have the video for me at a later date. Nothing was done $800 worth of damage that i am stuck with. Please do not use their FFL transfers in or out if you have a high end custom guns that you care about. I know small businesses are hurting and have been for the last few years but this is not an honest business bases on the facts. If i would have used my original FFL Okie, i know i would not have had this issue.

I was so shook up by how badly I was treated (almost like she "caught" me doing something wrong), I was in no mood to shop. In all honesty, I picked out a few random things my son didn't need. I will never shop at Carter's again (or at least the one on Hall Rd.). I did call corporate, but not sure they were willing to do anything? I tried to verify the policies. In order to get money without a receipt, even if it's a gift, she suggests to bring in the person who bought the gift for you.....I thought that would be pretty insulting. She had a friendly, helpful attitude from the beginning. As I was checking out, I was telling the staff member how much I appreciated the manager. She said that she loved her and enjoyed working with her. What an awesome compliment!

Most my gear was still in transit, and I was going to be starting a new job that required me to be armed. I asked to see the bolt carrier and bolt on the rifle I was looking at and the guy I knew was the owner looks at me like I am dirt and asks me why I want to see that... The rifle I was looking at was over 1500 and at the time that was not cheep. I was going to be buying high priced firearms not your bottom of the bine knock off show me the cheapest you got crap and the guy treated me like I was stupid or something. I had to run a class that was using their range a few years back and it was easy to see nothing had changed. Its almost like the owner went out of his way to find assholes. I very rarely say this but if you want a example of who should not carry a gun go to their store.

It's long enough to have fun with an ar-15 for a while…read more I think most gun ranges get pretty rough reviews because there's a bit of misunderstanding from what first time customer expects when coming to a range to shoot. For example, there are poor reviews on yelp for this place because customers didn't realize they'd need to purchase ammo in order to shoot. Ammo isn't free, it never will be free, and if you rent range time anywhere you're bringing your own ammo or paying for it at the range. Thats a bad reason to leave a poor review. Renting range time also doesn't include free lessons to use a firearm. I think that's also another misconception people have when going to a range and renting a firearm - which leads to false poor reviews IMO. If you are looking for a long indoor range to fire your rifle, this place is great. I wish it was 100yards, but 50 yards is still the longest we've got in metro detroit. Ive been here twice and would definitely go back. It's cheap. The targets are free. The range is no frills. No fancy technology. It certainly gets the job done - especially in the area. But don't walk in expecting free ammo or free lessons.
