    How cute?!

Came here earlier today with my dad since he's a huge outdoors guy and I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised! They had an enormous area of fishing and hunting items (tonsssss of lures, live bate, rods, guns, ammo, traps ect), jerky/sausage (and seasonings), equipment, clothing and shoes! The staff members were great and plentiful (especially bc they opened a couple days early) but constantly asking if we needed any help! The only thing that bummed me out was no big fish tank :( If you're an outdoors person this place is all you! Plan a couple hours as this place is HUGE but you'll be sure to have a great time and walk out with a bunch of goodies! **sign up for emails, you get tons of coupons!**

I had the best experience! I had just left REI bc the sales guy there was talking to another employee about her wedding while 'helping' me. Glad! I came here and ran into Kayla who knew a ton about what I needed for a successful trip. She took time to explain things to me and why. She was so incredibly knowledgeable about the products and activities. She absolutely made my day and got me set for hiking! If I owned a store, I would be honored to have her working for me!

    Hmmm new toy???

I was referred here by a friend and let me tell you he was absolutely correct about this place. As I was walking in a gentleman named Phil greeted me at the door and directed me to where I needed to go. I was looking to purchase a compact .40 caliber firearm and had researched some on their website prior to visiting the store however I left the list of the few I had narrowed it down to at home. My friend told me they offered no interest for twelve months so I applied for a credit card first before going back to look at the guns. The guy that did my credit app was cool I think his name was Jesse. He asked if I had a field & stream or a Dick's rewards card I did not so he signed me up for that too. The rewards card allows you to receive 10% back on purchases (great deal here). If you don't have one you have to sign up. Mind you it's 10% back not 10% off. You also have a choice if you have a credit card with them to get the 10% back OR get no interest for 12 months I chose the no interest. Now off to look at the firearms I approached the counter where a tire kicker was pulling the salesman's chain making him show every riffle in the store. The salesman, Rob, asked if I had a question I asked if he had any compact or sub compact .40 cal handguns he immediately showed me the two I found online. He stated that one was on sale and was a good value. Originally I picked the one that was not on sale and it took him a long time to find it but came back showed me to features. I decided to go with the first one and felt bad that I sent him on this wild goose chase then changed my mind but he was so kind and didn't seem to mind. He had me sit at one of three computers to complete the paperwork which was a much easier process than other places I have purchased firearms. While he reviewed and completed the rest of the paperwork I looked around for other things and I kept interrupting him to ask questions about ammo, safes, and mace. Not once did he get irritated with me and my millions of questions. He was so helpful that I bought more stuff. As he is preparing to finalize the sale he calls his manager over to double check all the paperwork and who comes walking up? That's right Phil the guy that greeted me at the door. Right then I knew why the employees are so laser focused on providing great customer service. I thought Phil was a regular employee because I saw him moving boxes and helping customers which is so unlike most managers these days who typically hide from customers. Then to top off the sale Rob walked me to the door shook my hand and thanked me. Classy touch! I love this place. Can't wait to comeback!!!

I mean making new clothes tailored to fit only you. The store is not very big but there is an infinite number of choices. Tailored clothes are usually more expensive than their off the rack equivalents. However, Claymore's prices are on par or better than competitors. Once you buy tailored clothes you never want to go back to off the rack. It may be the only choice for people who can't buy off the rack without looking like they are wearing their father or little brother's clothes on. Every man should have at least one tailored piece of clothing, it really makes a difference. Atmosphere can be a little intimidating if you don't know some of the terminology so make sure you Wikipedia some.. The staff will do the rest will make you feel at ease. If you are not sure what you are looking for, let the staff know your style, where you intend to wear them, and how often. The staff knows what they are talking about and will lead you to the right choices. Tips: 1) Wait for store or seasonal sales which they have all the time. 2) Register with them and you will get coupons in the mail. 3) If you can afford it, ask for the "bespoke" collection. They cost more but the quality is commensurate with the price. 4) Take advice from Charlie, Mike, and the rest of the staff. These guys are up on the latest trends, styles, and fabrics. 5) If something does not fit right, speak up. Claymore wants you to come back. 6) Colors, patterns, and details can all be tailored. Don't be afraid to ask. For example: Most of my sport coats have some kind of unique lining and people always notice. It does not always cost more.

Great place with a well-curated selection of clothes. Also customer service par excellence! Kevin…read moreand Elga (sp) accommodated a rush turnaround in tailoring for me for an urgent need. Will return to Claymore for more any time I'm back in the area.

When I was in the middle of planning my grandmother's funeral, I stopped in hoping to find something suitable for her to wear. It was such an emotional time, and honestly, I didn't know what I was expecting to find. But somehow, walking those aisles led me to the perfect blazer for her. It felt dignified, elegant, and fitting for the beautiful woman she was. In that moment, it wasn't just a piece of clothing -- it felt like part of honoring her properly. Then I found something that made it even more meaningful: a pack of six lapel pins. I decided to place three of them on her blazer, and I wore the other three myself during the service. That small, simple detail created a connection that meant everything to me. It felt symbolic -- like we were still linked, even in goodbye. People often think of thrift stores as just places to save money or hunt for deals, but sometimes they become part of your story in ways you never expect. That day, Value World gave me more than affordable finds. It gave me comfort in a difficult moment. It gave me something tangible to hold onto. Because of that experience, this location in Warren will always feel special to me. Every time I pass by or step inside, I'm reminded of how even the most ordinary places can play a meaningful role in our lives.
