I see shoe bargains in your future!…read more DSW's never disappoint. This DSW Designer Warehouse in Troy was nice with a large selection of shoes, Detroit clothing, socks, etc. I stopped in to use my $5.00 off coupon that was about to expire. I have had my eyes on this bright rainbow color bundle of Nike socks for a while. They can be found where the lines form for checking out area with the merchandise available for impulse purchases. However, I was intentional to purchase these socks and also donate a pair of shoes from my closet to DSW's Sole to Soul cause. In return, I received 50 reward points toward future purchases. It's a win-win! You can donate one pair every week. FYI: 400 points equal a $20.00 off coupon. Thank you to the college student who checked me out! She provided service with a smile.

I am so big into K&K them since they feel and fit so comfortably. Bought some AK's that were super comfy. Been adhering to the rule of only purchasing shoes that fit at first try and walk. Didn't have the silver metallic flats with no embellishment, would love it if they carried more metallic flats. Loving the calf hair black/brown and cream flats, goes with tons of things, much better than the Dr. Scholl's leopard print I bought a while back. I think I buy about 3/4 of my shoe collection from DSW, the rest from boutique shops as I prefer unique wears when possible. Would have been better if I had more than a $5 coupon, oh well, there aren't usually many good coupons that I can use when I find a pair of shoes it would seem for DSW.

They do lock-in skating events usually during holidays mostly. There are tables for the folks that aren't skating and they have Wi-Fi and a parent room that's quieter. Two seat high tables along the fence for the minor kids and a bunch of random couches by the main entrance. The parent room provides a bit of shelter from the constant noise of wheels rolling over metal plates at the top and bottom of a ramp. The interior is a big open warehouse. Fenced in for the skaters. Not fancy, but lots of different ramps for skateboarding, rollerblading or for razor scooters. My nephew wanted to try out every ramp to see which one was to his liking. Do bring a book, noise canceling headset and maybe a phone charger too. If you need snacks, Kroger is just across Stephenson and Penn Station subs just a half a mile away. They do have some snacks in the 3 vending machine. Probably a bit more fun coming with friends. My nephew felt a bit comfy after a half hour of getting the lay of the land. It can feel a bit chilly in the warehouse. My nephew said there's some fun ramps and runs, he was getting toasty running around some. Not me. He walks some and studies them ahead of skating to see what's on the other side to make sure there aren't any stairs on the other side of a ramp. My nephew likes the two half circle ramp with the flat landing in between. He also enjoyed the bowl, which has a slope to enter it.
