It was just an average visit to a drive-thru Dunkin Donuts. We had a bit of trouble getting into the parking lot from the other side of the road but eventually managed to get in. Our next mistake was going inside; they didn't have counter service, only two kiosks to place orders, and one of them was broken. However, the ladies working there were friendly, and the service was quick. The pumpkin-flavored Munchkins I got were delicious, and the coffee was excellent. Mission accomplished! read more

I am not one to usually write reviews, but after waiting a week to hear back from someone after submitting feedback, I felt the need to share my experience. On 10/24, I submitted a mobile order at 7:28am. By the time I got there at 7:38 to pick it up, the sandwich was ready, but the drink was nowhere to be found. At 7:45, the drink was still not ready as they continued to make orders for the drive thru that was coming in. I went up to the counter to cancel the drink and request a refund. At this time, they tried telling me that my drink was ready and proceeded to attempt to hand me a drink that was not what I ordered. I reiterated I wanted to just cancel the drink and get a refund as I had to get to work, and was advised that I just needed to "go through the app." I tried this since I was brushed off by the workers there, but the app would not allow me to cancel the order or request a refund. Every time I come to this location the service is always not up to par! I love Dunkin' over all other coffee places because of the service and my coffee order being accurate. After placing my order and paying for it, they realized they forgot to charge me for my bacon. No problem, I gave her my card again. I asked for a receipt so I could scan it into the app because I forgot to scan it. After reviewing my receipt, I noticed they didn't charge me for my third Turkey sausage wrap and I asked her about it. Oh we forgot to add it. No problem, don't worry about it. I get home and realized my bacon that I purchased was burnt and my two coffees that I requested to have caramel swirl added to..was just coffee and cream not a hint of caramel. I was extremely disappointed with this location this morning. I stopped here for my morning breakfast and I asked the person taking the order to specifically NOT toast my croissant because the bread is usually too hard for me to eat it. After reading my order back to me and emphasizing that I didn't want my croissant toasted, I got home and indeed realized that my croissant was toasted. I live on the opposite side of town and decided to call the number that they have online for the store. No answer. Nobody answered the phone the entire day. This afternoon I go in and I explain to them that I had been calling them since yesterday and the cashier says "oh, our phone hasn't been working in months"! Months!? Normally, I am not the type to bother with leaving a review. However, I went through the drive through at this location today and was absolutely appalled by how rude the lady was and how we were treated. On top of the rudeness, she handed us a drink through the window by holding JUST THE LID like a moron. It spilled all over the outside and inside of our car. The least she could have done was apologize, but all she did was laugh and ask a worker for another one and said that we dropped it. Hmmm let's see...how can I put this? This particular Dunkin Donuts was a disappointing experience for me. See what had happened was... I was attending a baseball tournament in the area but was having trouble "coming out of the gate" without some type of caffeine in my system so I stopped in here. Oops, my bad! I learned that day! I don't think I'll do that again. At least not at this location. The place was busy and jumping with plenty of activity as indicated by the lack of parking. But that's no biggie as I was patient until one became available. As soon as I entered I was underwhelmed. I'm not saying the place is rundown but I've been conditioned to the likes of Starbucks and the resurgence of Krispy Kreme. THIS particular DD looked aged. The staff was robotic. I'd rather have place my order with a Navy Federal ATM. At least it would've had more personality than the kid who took my order.. And another thing...why are there so many flies in here at 8:30 in the morning??? I saw flies zipping erratically back and forth as staff waved them off the donuts that were waiting to be bought. Dag! And I was hungry for one of those too...sigh. I like my donuts glazed but not by flies. I'll pass. So I sat down at one of the only two tables in the place and realized that I hit thejackpot -- there was an outlet for me to charge my phone. The "other" table didn't have one. And to add insult to injury there was no wifi available. So this tells me DD wants you to get your coffee, your donuts and then get the hell on. Before I left I dipped into the bathroom. Again, it's not even 9 in the morning and I'm wondering why the bathroom looks disheveled. I've seen some stores' bathrooms being used by homeless people but I'm unaware of a homeless problem in the Churchland area. Strange. At least the coffee was good as it's DD after all. But this location needs a change in management because the things I noticed can all be fixed for a better overall customer experience. Enter at your own risk. I whole heartedly wanted a doughnut for my pregnant self. I mean... I could taste the powdered sugar on my lips as I bit into a fresh powdered jelly doughnut! We drove out of our way home to get here because I was craving one so badly. Much to my dismay at 3 PM on a Sunday they claimed they were completely sold out of doughnuts. I was like nothing? At all? I wrote an earlier review a few years back and this used to be my go-to Dunk location. Since then, employee have changed and the ones that used to be friendly, attentive to my order, and nice to my kids....have all long gone. Now we are left with a group of people that don't really seem to care what is going on and that is evident in how they treat your order. I would say more often than not, they will get your order wrong. You can only put up with that so many times before you look elsewhere. When they do hand your order over, it looks as if they slapped it altogether in one hot mess. Coffee with sugar all of the side of the cup along with splattering of coffee. If I have to ask for napkin before handing the coffee over to me, that is poor customer service. My last rant about this location is to ask the question, why does it take almost twice as long to get serve inside the Dunks, rather than going through drive thru. They will bend over backwards to empty out the drive thru before they will serve the customer inside. This isn't the only Dunks that does this and it frustrates me. I drink a lot of coffee and I would rank this location now at the bottom of the three Dunks that I often hit. Very disappointing since I used to be on a first name basis with many of the now gone employees. I hope that it improves but it proves to me that you can have a good product and have it ruined by poor employees that don't really believe in the product. read more

The women who work the cash register at the drive thru window are typically pleasant and kind. The ones who take your order in the drive thru are miserable. They make you feel miserable as you are talking to them and ask you "is that it?" after every little thing you say. read more

I don't know why so many folks are putting this place down. DD coffee is my fav and I live within walking distance to here so needless to say, I am here quite often. My family have a Sunday am ritual of DD and I usually stop in once during the week for coffee on my way in to work. No, this place is not a stellar DD, but they are really good here. The coffee and donuts taste just like any where else. I think the staff is really pleasant and nice...always talking to customers. If all you do is go through the drive up window, then expect drive up service. Remember Fred the Baker? Always have friendly service here. The staff seems to really go out of their way to make their customer happy! I had never bought a coffee drink from them and I was not sure what I would like. One of the staff took a few minutes and asked me what my taste preferences were (strong, chocolately, sweet, mellow, hot, cold etc) and he chose a drink based on that. He even adjusted the sweetness level so my drink would not be overly sweet. A+++ DELICIOUS! The donuts are pretty good, I prefer buying munchkins. I tried to repeat myself and received no answer. Instead of sitting there and backing up the line, I pulled forward to the window. Sure enough, it was a coffee with French vanilla cream and sugar, both of which I did not ask for. Then, the coffee was so full it just leaked everywhere. I'll tell you why this place gets rated DOWN. I've gone into this location a few times since I'm from out of town, and my parents are retired and living in the area. This location is hit and miss. Upon reading the reviews from previous customers, they're right. The staff can be rude as all get-out. I experienced this yesterday going in for some coffee with my mom. She ordered first, and after getting her change back ALL IN COINS, she had made a comment about this as the cashier still had dollar BILLS. "You still got your change," was the cashier's response. Really?! I didn't find out about THAT until my mom told me about it this morning, but I did, however, notice the particularly RUDE disposition of this person. Completely unnecessary for just a coffee run, and post knee surgery, mind you!!! They have been going downhill for the last couple of years, but oh my God. I wish I could have caught the lady in the drive thru, but I was so flabbergasted. That's a crime in Virginia, by the way. The staff is rude, my coffee is always straight sugar and cream no matter how many times I ask for that not to happen, and I rarely am given the right order the first time. Going here usually takes at least 10 minutes in order to fix the screw ups. To make it worse, the employees are always annoyed when I complain. Piss poor customer service. I came to the drive thru on Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021 at 1:35 PM. There was no one else in line and I was trying to order an everything bagel with cream cheese but they were out, the woman asks If I want the mini bagel bites but I didn't want that so I told them I'd need a moment to figure out what else I may want instead. A different woman hops on the intercom and starts rushing me asking if I wanted the mini's aggressively and explains to me that they're similar again. I told her, yes, I understand, give me a moment. She laughs and says "ok" condescendingly. Terrible attitude that was completely unnecessary, which is why I never come to this location. Not very friendly staff. Coffee can sometimes taste old and the lines get extremely long increasing wait time. Prefer the one on Cedar Rd.

Only good thing about this is the place is convenient but I'd rather go an extra couple miles to get better service and better quality. They had no selection this morning, as like the few other times I've gone. The lady at the window was quite short and not really customer friendly. She handed me my food without a word afterwards. Visiting from Atlanta and I love Dunkin Doughnuts coffee. This is the closest to the Courtyard Marriott. This was my second time and service is TERRIBLE!!! They have 10 ppl Working behind the counter and there is still a wait for some to greet you and take your order! Everytime I order something it's wrong and they have to keep asking what it is. Then no one know how to ring up a chicken snack wrap because when I was here a month ago I had the same issue. My husband comes here for work and we have family here. I will NEVER visit this Dunkin again!!!! The customer service is terrible! And coffee is not good. Note to self when visiting VA go to Starbucks!!! read more

This DD is seriously the pits. They can't even pull it together on National Donut Day. They never ever get my order right. They never hear you over the drive thru speaker. They're always out of everything. Every other munchkin is usually torn in half or ripped. I ordered a small latte and I got a small iced coffee in a medium cup filled halfway and no free donut.
