Grabbed a drink before the movies. Had a pina colada smoothie. The flavor was pretty good, but not much pineapple flavor. I will definitely try more as I love smoothies.

Bad Ass Coffee definitely caters to a flavor profile, but it happens to be mine. The Beach Bliss latte comes with white chocolate and macadamia nut inside and it's sweet! The Bad Ass One breakfast sandwich was good with the spam and pineapple on a Hawaiian sweet roll. The entire meal came with lots of sugar, but it tasted good. The space comes with a few tables and restrooms are in the back. At 9:30am on a Monday, there was a line that moved slowly, but those working were nice.

Decided too try bad ass coffee for the first time. everything was really good, the coffee was fresh and had really good flavor. They even use coffee icecubes which was really unique.. The breakfast sandwich I got was really good as well. The customer service was absolutely outstanding in this little wonderful a cafe. I'm sure you will definitely enjoy the flavor of the coffee in this place. If you are a coffee drinker.

I wasn't expecting this, but wow. This new coffee gem came out swinging with the bold, strong brew I've been chasing. I used to make the long trek to my favorite coffee place... but now? I think I found a new go-to. Bonus points for easy parking right out front, and it's literally across from Wegmans, so coffee + grocery run = handled. As someone from Hawai'i, I was happy to see a place like this here. There's a little island soul in the vibe, and the badass backstory behind the shop is inspiring. Real grit, real flavor. Go and show them some aloha!!!!

First time here and had a lovely experience. I ordered one of the employee made lattes - I think it was called Blondie Latte and wow was it amazing. It tasted like maple pancakes! The staff were nice and easy going. The vibe is family owned and Hawaii beach vibe. The menu was extensive so I can't wait to come back!

We stopped by this morning to check it out & it didn't disappoint. The latte was sooo darn good and the fact that it has coffee ices cubes makes it so much better. I was able to enjoy a delicious coffee that doesn't get watered down and it wasn't overly sweet. It was perfection! One thing i probably won't purchase again is the breakfast sandwich, I wasn't a huge fan of the Hawaiian bread with the egg cheese and bacon but other than that i definitely will be back for more lattes. The place was calm and very cute from inside. The person at the register was nice as well.

Very chill aesthetic. Clean and chill location. A place I could definitely sit and spend hours at. The staff is very nice and the drink options are very customizable and delicious. Also an awesome bonus is the coffee ice. Definitely a new favorite coffee spot for me.

I love this coffee shop! The coffee is delicious, and I love that they have coffee ice cubes for iced drinks! I also got a lemon blueberry muffin today, and it was so good. Definitely recommend stopping here for your coffee fix!

Besides the cool name, the drinks and snacks were basic. The matcha latte was just okay. It was much on the sweeter side and it felt grainy in my mouth. The hazelnut hula drink was sweet and good, but it doesn't stick out as a coffee shop. They need to get rid of the grilled cheese to stop people from wasting their money. It looked sad, like it was thrown into the microwave. There was barely any cheese, small and unappetizing. The service was great though! I forgot her name, but she helped me decide what drinks I should get. Still not worth coming back for anything.

Great coffee place in Alexandria! I personally think Kona Coffee is one of the best coffees to have ever graced the world with so this was definitely a no brainer when I went. There wasn't anyone when I walked in earlier but the staff was friendly and even said Aloha when walking in. I wasn't craving much but I wanted to try out their Nitro Cold Brew w/ foam and their Bad Ass One Sandwich. The Nitro Cold Brew is really smooth and it's just the right amount of perfect for me. I don't mind drinking it black because it helps me with my diet and I guess the taste is something I'm used to now. The Bad Ass One Sandwich, with Spam, Egg, Swiss cheese, BBQ glaze over Kings Hawaiian buns, this was such a great item to eat for a quick brunch! It's unique to this area. I don't think I have experienced any other places around here that do Kona Coffee. It's so good! Please try this place out!

I can't get over how great this place is! Parking can be hit or miss. There is limited street parking right out front, but there is additional parking and a parking garage not far. The prices are a little high but I am definitely okay with that since the quality is so great! The sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich on Hawaiian bread is delicious! AND the frozen coffee ice cubes keep your coffee tasting good without worrying about being watered down. I recommend this place to everyone!

Love that they brought a little taste of Hawaii to the DMV area and getting to read the story behind Bad Ass Coffee of the donkeys in Kona, Hawaii. I ordered the Hazelnut Hula, which has hazelnut, caramel, and dark chocolate. I loved that it was still intense in Coffee yet balanced out with the dark chocolate where it wasn't overly sweet and just enough. Service here was friendly and very efficient and quick.

Great coffee!! We stopped in on a very cold windy day and really enjoyed the yummy seasonal latte flavors they have here. Very friendly staff and clean space.

He was in the mood for Lahmacun (sounds like Lahamajoun) super thin, crispy pizza topped with a mixture of minced meat with peppers, tomato, herbs, and spices. More fine, light, and delicate than the typical American thin pizza. The service, drinks, and food were beyond stellar in Narman. We felt like the only customers there and were waited on by many staff. The highlight of the day there was their pizza and their beverage presentation and flavors. We came on a weekday night and were the only people there in the end. My husband was impressed at how upscale the restaurant was and it was the finest Turkish restaurant he ever visited. He said it was similar to the hotel dining place he lived at in Turkey. This was our first restaurant in downtown Alexandria and one of our best experiences in Alexandria. The Lahmacun was the finest Turkish pizza my husband ever had. He ordered three of them! Each pizza was served on a large wood board with extra toppings on the side like lemon wedges, cilantro, and onions. They are so fine and thin that you can roll them up to eat. We had to put some of the last pizza aside for take out. I ate the takeout piece and was very impressed how delicious it was after being in the fridge overnight & re-heated. I loved the flavors of the Lahmacun and I don't even care for pizza that much. It is my most preferred pizza in my life ever next to the Crazy Ex in The Thirsty Goat in Clarksville, Tennessee. I ordered a Turkish dish with a rich and ancient history, Hunkar Begendi, or "Sultan's Delight." It dates back several centuries, and it was prepared for the sultans and high-ranking officials, and was served during special occasions and celebrations. The Hunkar Begendi had lamb and velvet soft eggplant with spices. I ordered it with a side of rice. It was very delicious and unique. Yet the Lahmacun despite its simplicity stole the show and cost 1/3 of the price of the Hunkar Begendi. For my beverage, I ordered The Elma. It has a stunning presentation in a smoke filled glass box. The Elma is a beverage with Bourbon, Peach liquor, vanilla maple, Apple butter,Lemon juice, and Apple cider. You have to watch the videos of how it is presented at the table. At the end of our dinner, they played happy birthday and surprised my husband with an ice cream and pumpkin dessert with a candle. So wonderful & heartfelt. It was a fascinating and flavorful dish. The pumpkin tasted like sweet potato & was different. This is a must see place for Turkish cuisine and the finest restaurant service. Prices are low to fair for such high quality food and service. Five Stars.

All of the hip young girls in high school recommended this place to me and my friends and lets just say, they have never been more wrong. My girls and I went this weekend for a birthday brunch. I wanted a crepe, but when I saw it was 17 DOLLARS to slap some Nutella and strawberries on a piece of crepe is outrageous. I ordered a "Continental Breakfast," which, with tax and tip, cost me $30 DOLLARS. I wish you could have seen the look on my face when they gave me a plate of rabbit food. All 6 of us looked at the plate and laughed. Seriously, my 5 year old neice can eat 3 times as much of that in one sitting. So, in what world would that be enough food for a grown woman? My friend then went on to order the French toast for a grand total of $36 DOLLARS. Mind you, there was only one piece of toast, and the Inside was raw and soggy. Tasted like eating wet, soaked toilet paper. On top of the overpriced food and small portions, our "server" came to our table for a total of ONE SINGULAR TIME. My friend had also ordered a Chai Latte. Surprise, Surprise! It never came, and they still charged her for it. I think the nice man who brought us our food could see the look on our faces when we received our food, because he then brought us a free side of French fries. It is a huge problem when the french fries were the only sufficient thing I put in my mouth at this restaurant. I please, genuinely beg all of you to NOT waste your money. I promise there is anywhere else where you can get a crepe for double the size and half the cost. Once we left, we went down to Call Your Mother, the Jewish Deli, to get more food, as all of us left with our tummies still rumbling. Mind you, a full bagel sandwich and coffee cost HALF THE PRICE of one meal at Fontaine. Horrible. Mind you, it is 2 days later, and I am still thinking about this. I fully created a Yelp account just so I could leave a review. I think I would have a better experience eating an IHOP Continental breakfast than whatever I put in my mouth at this restaurant. Not worth the hype at all. Save your hard-earned cash and be a big baller elsewhere!
