I was lucky, plenty of options and yes, two were quickly gone because they're such a fluffy bite. I love the bubbles, it make it fun to eat. Great service, the woman helped me pick flavors, because she would know best, and worth every penny! I went here once for a Yelp event and am so glad to come again as a regular customer.

So being in the area, decided to come here and pick up some donuts for the ride home. We got here late in the day, and they were out of almost everything when I got there. I managed to get a churro and matcha donut. I then saw they did a Dubai chocolate strawberry cup, and had to give that a try as well ( they only do the cup on the weekends) The donuts were very fresh, light and chewy. They are high in price but much better in quality compared to other places I've tried. The Dubai strawberry cup had a kind of weak chocolate sauce over them. Not the cheapest stuff on the market, but not strong or mellow like the expensive chocolates. The strawberries were fresh, and the Dubai part needed a little salt to counteract the sweet and enhance the earthy. Inside is well decorated but dirty. All the tables were dirty, there's lots of dust and other ditritus when I was waiting for my dessert. It was end of day, so I get why they would not be fully clean. But there's some repairs that need to get done and there's cracks in the facade. Despite the lack of donuts, the quality was good and the Dubai strawberries were a nice sweet treat. This is a good place to get some interesting food items or sweet treats. Not a trek worthy spot, but good if you're around

They are unrelated. Newington's King Donut is a small, old-school family-run business on Route 176 (Main St. in Newington. If you like traditional New England-style iced and cake donuts, this place should be right in the center of your comfort zone. If you like those expensive crafty arsty-fartsy donuts with Fruity Pebbles, crushed cannoli shells and the like, take your $6 a pop elsewhere. Here, you'll see cookies, muffins, bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and of course.....donuts on their menu. And pray tell, what kind of donuts? Glad you asked, because they have a nice variety of yummy treats including Glazed, Chocolate frosted, Vanilla frosted with sprinkles, Strawberry frosted, three Old fashioneds (plain, glazed, chocolate iced), Jelly filled, Boston cream, Powdered, Cinnamon sugar, Blueberry cake, Chocolate cake, Apple fritters, Cinnamon rolls, Crullers, Maple frosted, Butternut donuts, and filled donut sticks. We picked up an assortment of donuts yesterday, and man oh man did they look and smell great. We split a chocolate iced/custard filled stick last night that was decadently delicious!! PRO TIP It's located on the busy corner of Hartford Avenue and Main Street in a small plaza with plenty of parking. You'll find it across the street from the Eagle's Nest Gas station, which we've found to consistently have some of the lowest gas prices around.

I was heading to a nearby facility and wanted to bring my team a treat so I got 1/2 dozen donuts for $11.50 out the door. The donuts looked amazing. I opted to shove a Boston cream in my face first! The donuts are larger than most other donut shops in the area. The Boston cream was very light and airy and had good flavor, it wasn't at all greasy, my only complaint is there was not a lot of filling. It took me 3 bites to get to the cream filling. The woman at the counter was very pleasant and there is plenty of I parking here too.

Decided to hunt down a few different locations and this one popped up in the hunt. Location is a small space in a little plaza. Staff was friendly, recommended the strawberry donut. Price was 2 bucks a donut, so towards the higher side. Donut was fresh, dense with a heavy sugar shell and a strong artificial strawberry flavor. Not bad, but I prefer the lighter yeasty style donuts than the denser, sugar laden ones. As a local donut shop, it's good. The quality is there, but the donuts are not my style. They are good classic dunker style doughnuts though.

My BF got an iced coffee, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We grabbed an assortment of donuts to try, since it was our first time here. Their cinnamon rolls are huge, and it was nice and cinnamon-ey which I love. I also got the cruller to enjoy later. Now, to me, a cruller is nice and airy with a hint of crispness in the edges and a moist center. This was more like an old fashioned donut made into a twist, and it is probably one of the best old fashioned donut I have had ever! Nicely glazed, but that dough ... chef's kiss! We also grabbed their chocolate frosted and a Boston cream to share with our son. The employees are super nice and helpful. Only downside is they only serve coffee - iced or hot. I wish they had an espresso machine for lattes and cappuccinos. 4.5 stars!

If that isn't testimonial enough, Bruno's will always hold a special place in my heart. Also my friends get upset if they find out I went to Bruno's without them ("YOU WENT TO BRUNO's WITHOUT ME?!") Although a scenic drive to Bruno's, it is completely out of the way for me, but I wanted to try them. This cafe is small, and very busy. They have some seating options, but all the seats were taken. They did have some tables and chairs outside, and it was a pleasant day to sit outside. Their milk is sourced from Arethusa Farms, one of the best, if not THE BEST local dairy resources. Their menu is large with coffee, tea, refreshers, including pastries, breakfast and lunch options. On this trip we got coffees. I got Nova's Nutella Latte, the others got a mocha and Kiwi, Mint & Lemongrass refresher. These were all very pricey, I was a bit taken aback. Each drink was between $9.00 and $10.00. Maybe it's because of the locally sourced milk, I can't think of another reason. My Nutella Latte was very chocholatey and very tasty, but my cup was also filled with ice all the way to the top. The refresher was very sweet, but a unique combo of flavors and pretty refreshing. The mocha was solid. Overall, maybe I got the wrong things at Bruno's, but I can't say I was super impressed, especially at such a high cost.

I will start by saying the donuts ARE amazing! but that is about it. The cider and the slushies were pretty generic, and even with the "Summerween" theme, I just was expecting more. There weren't any other real food options, even popcorn or something would have been cool. The service was slow for such a well known and busy place, and the staff all moved like it was their first day. The mini golf was essentially 18 renditions of the same hole with no theme, excitement or variation. Thankfully we went on Friday when it's free which is a nice thing they do. It felt like a CT must do, but I don't think I need to go back.
