The latte that I ordered was okay. The service was okay. There were three employees working but none of them seemed in any rush to help the many customers that came in after me. I waited for at least 10 minutes for latte. I will definitely take this as a learning experience and start making my own lattes at home. If you're in a hurry, don't stop here. read more

This was my first visit to this Duncan location. I can honestly say that it seems to be ran 100 times better than my usual location. Plus, they also offer Baskin Robbins Ice Cream! The store is CLEAN! The tables were spotless. The restroom was clean. I looked at the floors closely. They were very clean. They have a sanitation grade of 98.0. I felt confident in ordering something consumable here. The employees were friendly. Our iced coffee orders came out perfectly. They worked quickly. This was a great experience at Duncan. read more

First time in this DD. I don't enter these joints much anymore because the doughnuts (or donuts) are too tempting. When I walked in, the guy behind the counter asked if I could be helped. Right behind him were the evil donuts. I imagined each one speaking to me: Vanilla Frosted: "Come for me, I know you want it." Chocolate Glazed: "Heavy heavy hmph hmph." Cinnamon: "Great aftertaste!" Munchkins: "We're just bite-sized treats that people don't pay as much attention to anymore. Please show us some love." I don't know what Chocolate Glazed was talking about. For the Munchkins, do people not pay as much attention or is it just that I'm not in Kindergarten anymore? Either way, I showed strength by walking past those donuts and getting a kids-sized vanilla with no toppings. Doesn't really make sense for Baskin-Robbins but better than no ice cream. I ate the ice cream in the car and walked to the dumpster to dispose of the cup. As crazy as it sounds, this felt mini-adventurous. Is it EVERY employees first day at this location??? I had to go back TWICE for them to make one cappuccino correctly. First they didn't steam the milk and it was cold, then they gave me a cup of just hot milk and no coffee. Save yourself the headache and never come here. read more

Not a ton to say here as it's your typical Dunkin Donuts (soon to just be Dunkin, I hear) with a Baskin Robbin's also inside so if you'r in the mood to go into a sugar induced coma, step right in! Parking is in the back but be careful pulling in or out in the morning as there was a steady stream of people walking through the lot coming from the various surrounding businesses. This is one of the most incompetent Dunkins I've ever been to. The employees are constantly dropping boxes of donuts on the floor, getting orders incorrect and mixing up curbside pick-up. "Jessica," the manager is rude and unapologetic for her staff of misfit teenagers. This is a mildly inconvenient location, literally on the wrong side of the tracks, and I get why navigating the lot is horrible but that doesn't excuse the fact that it is. On the way to work it's a left into and out of the parking lot adventure. Not as bad on the way home when I'm doing my shoping but only once have I been just in-and-out. I don't understand how a Dunky-D can be out of regular coffee every time I stop in. Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of fresh hot coffee but just once I'd like to be there at the end of the brew cycle not at the beginning. I've not really had an issue with baked goods though; the donuts selection is generally sufficient and plenty of bagels and fritters and sweet rolls too, but I can't say as how I see many muffins. Might explain the shortage of coffee if everyone in town is doubling down that way...? But really, try to keep a pot on, you're a Dunkin Donut, and that means coffee. read more

To be honest we came here for baskin robins but the signage and doors can be confusing since the sides of baskin robins doors are blacked out and there's no way in. We walked around to the front to only realize it was in Dunkin' Donuts. The store itself was split into two separate area for both services but the register is combined. My daughter was able to sampled some flavors of ice cream before she decided which one she wanted which was good. We also picked up a donut for her for breakfast the next day. read more

The shop has not been as efficient since Jessyca has left, but I think they're closer to getting there. It takes longer for your order to be ready if it was placed on the app and the store seems to be more chaotic at any given time. The new staff looks young, but are very helpful and attentive. I walked into the establishment and it was packed with angry people who had been there for over 30 more even just a latte and a muffin. There was little to no customer service and the manager was being very snappy at the customers. It was unexceptable. Once I ordered I was told it was going to take no more than 10 minutes, so after 15 I spoke up and asked how much longer it was going to take and he didn't say anything and just snickered to himself because he had forgotten to even put my order on a ticket...Do not come here! read more

Oh, how quickly the mighty fall... My last review described this location as nothing less than spectacular, but my last three trips have been anything but spectacular. As I stated in my last review, I am a huge fan of On-the-Go ordering. It should go without saying that On-the-Go ordering is dependent on your order actually being made in a timely fashion. The first time, my fiancé and I each placed an On-the-Go order from our separate accounts on a Saturday morning. When we arrived, mine was ready and waiting. Her coffee was not ready. So, we waited. And waited some more. She finally decided to take her phone to the counter where the guy admitted he had deleted the order and had forgotten to make it. Ok. It happens. No biggie. Time number two: We placed an order at the counter. We each ordered an Iced Coffee, and I ordered a sandwich. She gets her coffee. A few minutes later, I get my sandwich. And we wait. And wait. I go to the counter to ask about my coffee. The guy looks up, exclaims "oh!" and makes my coffee. Ok. Strike two. Again, it happens. Then this morning: I place an On-the-Go order to pick up on my way to work. Let me note that the reason I do On-the-Go is not only for the double points, but to also make it easy to pick up on my commute to work. (One might say I push the limit when it comes to leaving on time in the morning.) I arrived 5 minutes after submitting my order. Normally, my coffee is waiting for me. This morning it was not there. So, I wait. And I wait some more. 3 minutes I wait before I see the guy behind the espresso machine hold up a sticker with a receipt (if you've never ordered On-the-Go before, that sticker and receipt is always affixed to your order) and asks another guy if anyone has made that yet. I almost responded myself, but I bit my tongue. 4 minutes later, I am presented with my drink. I was simple today and ordered an Iced Coffee with a flavor swirl. 12 total minutes... I truly hate to give a bad review, but after 3 times, I can't talk myself out of it. I sincerely hope that whatever disconnect is happening can be addressed and fixed. read more

I have been to this store many times with great service not anymore .Lisa told me that they do not offer refills when you bring in your own mug. (Yeti) as thousands of people due. I would differ with the negative reviews. As a former Boston resident, this is easily the best DD in the north Charlotte area and has the freshest coffee of any of them. I stop by most days and it is amazingly consistent. The lines can be long (a better barometer of how good they are than the 2 star reviews) so use of the app for on the go ordering is a must. read more

Staff has been rude to my family and myself on multiple occasions and my bagels and sandwiches are always burnt without fail.

A coffee place that cannot get a cup of coffee with (very little) cream right.... When I put the cream in myself, it curdled because coffee was so hot & creamer was too cold. The girl ( behind the counter) then made it for me. I asked for VERY LITTLE cream. It looked like milk with a touch of coffee. I pour 1/2 out and asked for more coffee. You would have thought I asked her to work a double shift :( read more

Went into get a few donuts for my sons class for his Birthday. All I asked was if they had any in the back of the store. One of the managers walked by gave me a dirty look and said "special orders have to be called in 24 hours in advance ". What was her problem? I didn't mind mixing them up it was just a question lady ! Then as I was picking my order they where given the poor new girl a hard time and given me dirt looks! Sorry, but there are 3 other stores in the area next time I'll take my $30 and go to a different location!! This one needs serious help! read more

This location does not value customers time . Ordered curbside and had to sit 20 mins outside waiting for the food. Finally had to call them and they argue saying the order is not in and then magically it arrives at the curb. The coffee and the wrap ordered was cold. Showed up at the shop tonight at 9:50 for a donut and couldn't get my cheat treat because all the doors were locked even though the posted closing time was 10. More to the story, but that's the gist. A nice location. The restrooms and floor are quite dirty. We stopped in on a Thursday at 10:15am, there were two employees, it wasn't busy, in fact only one ahead of us but we waited a couple minutes to be waited on, then our order wasn't right, then my latte tasted off. Staff happily exchanged it for something else. But the whole experience left me uneasy about returning. read more
