The Dunkin Donuts in Alamogordo is the crusher of dreams. It was Saturday morning. The entire purpose to go was so my son could get a Chocolate doughnut with sprinkles after he just got over being sick. Line was long but daddy promised. Ordered a Chai Latte, Chocolate Doughnut with Sprinkles and a breakfast sandwich. As we are waiting in this ridiculous line I was watching the staff, take their sweet time as if this line is invisible. They attempted to bring me the wrong order. Finally, they bring out the Chai Latte, and because we had sat there so long waiting, I drove off without checking. Drove to a park. Looked in the bag and NO F$@*% doughnut. After waiting almost 20 minutes from ordering and waiting on my coffee on the drive thru line , I did not get what I asked for & even after addressing that the order was wrong no one had a clue to what I ordered . First and foremost, I love Dunkin' Donuts and I am so glad that it came to town. Understandably we are in trying times and everybody is just trying to make things work. However me and my wife and friends have frequented this establishment since it was open no more than a month ago. However, the staff appear overwhelmed and typically our order is wrong, from the amount of cream and sugar in our coffee, wrong ice cream scoops, and wrong donuts. It is obvious that the workers are overwhelmed and it shows in their customer service. Bless them for their efforts but hopefully they can regroup and make this place a success. Me and my husband have went multiple times during the day and even at night the Baskin Robbins never have any ice cream no matter what you ask for from Baskin Robbins they say they "don't have that" and in all honestly I feel as if they do and they are to lazy or not trained so they don't want to do it. I have been to this DD a few times since they opened and will never be back again. All visits were disappointing but I hoped things would improve. Always avoided the drive thru when I saw how long lines were. That is a clue. Once inside it was frustrating to get in line 2 or 3 deep. Painful to see only 2 employees struggling and 23 minutes later I got my 2 coffees and walked away shaking my head. Owner only cares about the cash register. Yesterday wife went in to pick up a pre-ordered and pre-paid cake order and walked out empty handed. We made the best of my son's birthday get together minus the cake. Huge DD fan, I've always loved the brand, but this location is easily the worst Dunkin I've ever visited. Drive thru lines are always slammed with what I've timed 1 car per 5 minutes. I've seen it as bad as one car per 10 minutes. There have been 2 occasions where I've actually left after paying for my order because they were taking SO LONG the refund wasn't even worth it to me. Because of this I've tried walk-in and wasn't much better. They're so slammed with drive thru they pay little to no attention to the people inside. They're not very friendly (understandably so, looks like a miserable work experience) and my wife has been ignored. Worst of all, out of the dozen times I've been there, they probably made my drink exactly the way I ordered it ONCE, maybe twice....So you deal with the lack of customer service and courtesy and you wait 30-45 minutes for two coffees and you don't even get what you paid for. This has been my experience honestly. They need a huge change of leadership, until then, I will be going without Dunkin and avoiding them altogether! read more

This location needs a massive overhaul of their processes and how they prioritize their orders. On multiple occasions, we have utilized the order ahead option in the hopes that it will be a quick in and out trip. That has never been the case. We always end up waiting for 15 or more minutes for a simple order. The order tends to be wrong as well. Or they don't have something we ordered. It's near impossible to get an employees attention as well. I have been to many Dunkin' Donuts in my lifetime and never have I ever had this many issues with one. It is inexcusable and unacceptable. If you are unable to keep up with the orders, maybe relook at your manning and reevaluate. It's past the point where the managers are failing to do their job. I really want to like this location. I do. In fact we were incredibly impressed with their 1st week open. An employee who was pregnant was the manager and was killing it. She was an excellent manager and expedited orders very efficiently. Now here we are a few months open and it is quite literally a dumpster fire. We ordered 3 drinks and a sandwich through their mobile app and used the drive thru. Even with this, we are in line for 40 mins!!!! Still no order in hand as we sit here and wait. What this location is a clear manager who gets the job done like the other employee. Now you go in and there's no clear lead. Orders take an unreasonablly long time, even with the pandemic and more thorough cleaning. Its a nightmare read more

I understand why this place has 1.5 stars. The slowest fast food joint I've been to in a long time. Waited (stuck really) in the drive through for approx 14 minutes. I ordered a $3 sausage egg wrap. Not worth it. Service was mediocre at best as far as employees giving two cents about me. My sister and I stopped by to try the avocado toast and pick up a few donuts. I'm not sure if the girl that waited on us was new. She didn't seem to have a clue. After EVERY item I asked for, she would say "is that all?" I wanted to tell her to stop rushing me, I was the only customer! I ordered an iced cappuccino (which was served without ice) hmmm, 2 avocado toasts (which was served on bread not toast. While waiting for the order I looked at the ice cream. Have been going a couple times a week since their opening. The service is shakey and takes a long time. But last Saturday was the last visit. It's this simple. The young woman at the window had her mask around her neck. Through the window I could see at least 4 other busy workers all wearing masks, but the one with all the public contact couldn't be bothered. I know it wasn't a fluke, because I was in line long enough in the drive-through to observe several transactions. She's leaning out and masklessly handing out orders. I understand it's new but I've sat in line after ordering for 20 minutes and my drink tasted like it did too. The last 3 times I've gone the coffee was horrible. I even asked for extra sweetener just Incase it was burnt again and don't taste the difference because the burnt coffee taste is overpowering. I think I'm done taking my chances. I don't usually have too many issues when I go there. I order on line so I don't have to wait and most of the time I have no issues. I have to say that I don't leave the drive-thru window before checking my order as there is no way to call when they do mess something up and they are quick to correct the problem for me. This morning was a disaster. I always order my coffee the same way, large w/5 cream and 6 stevia packets and a shot of coconut flavor. This morning the large blonde lady w/the white t-shirt couldn't even figure out how to make the coffee brewers work. Then I watched her put the coffee in my cup, the other girl came around put a lid on it and handed it to me. I had her ask the other lady if she had put the creamer in it to which she said yes I then asked about the flavor shot and I was told that it was in there, then I asked about the sweetener and the large lady said to me that she did it. I always get extra packets just in case. I got to work and my coffee was horrible, it was burnt and bitter, very little cream and zero flavor shot and no sweetener. I added the sweetener to try and see if it was even drinkable and it didn't help at all. This lady that made my coffee should not be making orders until she can figure out how to do her job. I wish that there was a phone number for this business so that people can call when there is an issue. read more
