Obviously I'm spoiled living in the Dunks capital of Massachusetts. And I realize when I'm outside New England that my coffee is going to take longer. But today - it was 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged in the restaurant. And then it took another 10 minutes to make an iced coffee. Nothing fancy. Dunkin' has always been a family favorite, I've loved their coffee and donuts since the early 90s. Their coffee is one of my all time favorites, I've purchased their coffee for home brewing many times, it's always a crowd pleaser. The breakfast items they offer are good but I've never understood why they sell all their items separately, they don't offer combos. The donuts are very good, I love their original glazed donuts the best. The reason I'm rating it 3 stars is because this specific location seems to always be out of something. I've gone on 3 different occasions and on all of them they did not have what I originally wanted. Two of those times I ended up cancelling my order and going to Starbucks. The customer service has also been lacking, it always seemed like the employee was having a bad day or simply didn't care about their job or the customer. If those little short comings were addressed and fixed at this specific location then my 3 star review would go to 5 stars because when it comes to coffee and donuts you cannot go wrong with Dunkin! Nobody is getting up to make me donuts like they used to when Dinkin started out. The line moved very slowly to order and receive food. 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 coffees with 4 cake donuts. We were in line 15 minutes at least. Donuts were ice cold like recently came out of a freezer. Waited several hours for them to come to room temp. Breakfast sandwiches were warm and all ingredients were there but didn't look very appealing. There aren't any Dinkin shops near home anymore so drive thru while traveling is the extent of our Dinkin experience. Previously had Dinkin most work days in metro Chicago. We wanted bagels but i am vegan and i was not disappointed! I nórmally never eat at fast food places but this hit the spot. The staff was amazing, he figured our how to order our food with the multiple modifications we needed for the best price. I was pleasantly surprised that the avocado did not have any preservatives. Customer service here is nonexistent I walked into this location to pick up an order and there was three women working all three of them looked at me turn the other way to continue doing what they were doing. Honestly the service deserves negative stars. Today I went to this DD location and tried to go inside. The doors were locked. The drive thru was so long I decided to just leave. The last time I went through the drive threw I sat and waited at the screen for 15 minutes. No one even acknowledged me so I decided to try going inside. I recommend to the manager to put a sign on the screen/ door saying they could only serve in door today and he acted like he didn't know what I meant or see the problem with the service. Good: Products and food are always consistently excellent. Opening crew is always pleasant and friendly. Bad: Not always open at 5:00 am. No other fast food place with a drive thru is open for coffee or breakfast until 6:00 am. New manager has been hired and she seems to be doing a fantastic job at making sure somebody is there to open on time every day. read more

There is a Baskin-Robbins on the inside. It's a normal size Baskin-Robbins however for some reason the waffle cones here we're kind of soggy and not prepared properly they were also not sealed at the bottom which let ice cream melt run out the bottom. However the people working here are really nice kids and the store was clean. It was hard to find the store and see which driveway to turn down. Consequencely we had to turn around a couple times before we finally found the drive way. read more

The Alamogordo DD's fast drive-thru service has problems. My past two experiences (10:45 am & 7:20 am) had me waiting close to 20 minutes. The coffee, donuts, and employees are great, but the speed in getting my order is a killer. Additionally, the sun-bleached DD donut menu is almost unreadable. Plus, the taped-on piece of paper listing their donuts needs attention. I could read only a few names of donuts (the wind has blown the paper in half). read more

The staff is very friendly and polite, the donuts and coffee taste about how you'd imagine them to taste from here, so they're good. I want so badly to give them 4 or 5 stars, but the place is just run so inefficiently. I was the first in line and waited 25 minutes for what I ordered, and the line behind me didn't move as it grew longer and longer. Staff needs more training. They are slow and unfamiliar with their own menu. I bought 2 boxes of assorted donuts on different occasions, order was not correct. I waited 40 minutes in the drive thru to finally get my items. There were 2 cars in front of me when I got there. To make things worse, my drink was incorrect and they forgot to make a item. I had to pull up to the side and wait even longer. It's unfortunate that Alamogordo finally gets an establishment that can bring in good business to the community but with this type of service, I don't recommend going to this location. read more

I've ordered from here twice in the past 2 weeks. The first time was okay but the drive-thru line took about an hour to get through. This last visit, from today, wasn't the best. Their computers went down, and they lost all the online orders, so we had to write down our order as it was placed, and wait for it. I did not get four of the items I had ordered and there is no number to contact them... That's insane. I don't really appreciate having to drive back, especially if I can't inform the staff ahead of time. Never have had a problem with the food, but seriously, they need better management. I know it's probably stressful for the employees, but they can do better. read more

If no stars was an option that would be my rating. After our daughter's performance she chose Baskin for celebratory ice cream with her grandparents. The interior of the store was closed because they were mopping the floors and beginning closing proc even though it was only 7:30pm so we decided to use DoorDash to order. Our order was incorrect, the store was out of all cones, and we never received notice that our order was ready. We politely asked for a refund of the difference for the lack of cones and were met with unveiled anger and frustration. After taking pictures of the signs on the door to submit as part of our complaint the manager, Jackie began cussing at my father and told him to "Get the **ck out" among other expletives. In our time at the establishment we watched at least 15 cars try to order sweet treats, I cant imagine the amount of income that is being lost due to these wretched business practices. Service is always terrible here. Last time we went I just wanted an iced coffee and they were out of all coffee drinks and iced drinks. Then asked for their ice cream selection and they had a total of 5 options which were all sherbert or fat free options. If you want ice cream it's better to go to Caliches or the store. Don't order off the app even if the app says you can. They put you can walk-in on their app then put a sign on the door that they're closed for our "safety" although starbucks is open for walk-ins. We had to wait in a long ass drive-thru which they take 10 min + per car. Wasted my money bc I already ordered on the app. Straight trash business & i love dunkin'. Wow. What can I say. I'm happy to finally have a Dunkin' in town, no more driving to Cruces just for some iced coffee. There were some issues the first week they were open, which is expected. Everyone is learning the menu, processes, etc. That being said, it's now a couple months later and this has to be the worst run place I've ever seen, and thats saying a lot for Alamogordo. Frequent 40+ minute wait times regardless of the drive thru or indoor. Drinks are frequently made wrong and the rarely have the correct thing. If you place a mobile order, expect it to get forgotten about because they're worried about everything else or no one is watching the screen. I tried giving them the benefit of the doubt but as time goes on I get less and less hopeful. Thankfully the new Starbucks opened up next door and they seem to have their act together. read more

Wish I would have read the reviews before I came in. We waited forever for just two drinks. It took them a while before we were even acknowledged. The one guy was nice but other than that they have issues. I'm guessing they have a management problem because they were short employees. (Hearing them talk it sounded like an on going issue) One showed up late and they were talking about another that didn't bother to show up at all. Done with this Dunkin'!!! One of the big factors I would choose Dunkin over the other coffee shops is that they have doughnuts. I ordered doughnuts and there were doughnuts that were way too stale to be enjoyed. I am sure that there is a process that ensures the freshness of the doughnuts but at 7 in the morning and I receive a stale doughnut, that should not have happened. Looking at my last review where they could not make the drinks and they were running out of supplies way too fast, i won't be coming back to that Dunkin'. Placed an online order for pickup, arrived and was still waiting for my order to be completed. Watched the girls every move from going to the window to finish that order to finishing my order. As she's waiting for the coffee to finish pouring in the cup, she proceeds to put her foot up onto some kind of support and to tie her shoe. Gave the customer their order then proceeded to start my drink, not once washing her hands. Then gets mad at me because i told her I would put my own lid on it due to her not washing her hands after tying her shoe. She tries to say did you not see me "wash" my hands? ​she ran them under water only AFTER she got caramel drizzle on her hand. I told her it takes soap and water to wash her hands...she proceeded to get snarky and screams have a nice day while muttering "hoe" under her breath...you should be calling yourself a hoe for your poor customer service instead of the customers who help create a paycheck for you!
