This location has gotten significantly better throughout the year. Service here used to be so bad, now, the employees are a little bit more pleasant. Not the friendliest, but not rude. I went through the drive through on sun October 27,2024 and asked the Halloween bucket and they were out of them which was fine but asked for the Halloween munchkins and got all sprinkled ones instead of the assortment that comes with the previously mentioned bucket and they weren't even atleast Halloween sprinkled. read more

Came in here for a special order of donuts. Instead of telling me no or getting upset, Darius went in the back and made me a half dozen of my favorite donuts, chocolate glazed with raspberry filling! Spoke with manager and another employee while I was standing there, great people, and while I was there many staple customers came to drive up window and inside. Everyone knew each other and all the customers had nothing but good things to say about each other. A female customer at the drive thru even brought all the employees a rose, each. Of all the Dunkin's I've been to, this one is by far the worst. The drive thru line was ridiculously long so I figured I would go inside for faster service. Nope. That wasn't the case at all. I literally counted 5 staff members behind the counter but not ONE greeted me nor asked to take my order. You must think, "they're busy, Nina", NOPE, again, I counted 2 standing around on their phones. One of the girls had the audacity to look at me then ignored me and went back to her phone. Is she on break? If so, why is she standing behind the counter? Too much to look up, see a customer and get one of her other working colleagues to help me? Or at least greet me? You must think, "why didn't you just walk out?" If I could give a zero star I would. absolutely the worst service I have had at a Dunkin. Took forever to even be acknowledged. Placed a mobile order it was already sitting there and watered down due to them not paying attention to the drive thru window. Update: instead of doing anything about the parking lot, the drive through, size or traffic issues, or speed of service, they remodeled the exterior and handled some code violations or something. Everything else is the same. It's a relic from decades ago, the food isn't what it could be, service has always been scattered & inconsistent.. & now they have Starbucks right across the street. All this Dunkin' had to do was buy the lot next to it when it was a dead LongJohn's forever. Instead, they're going to struggle & likely, eventually, shut down. It's the most slam-dunk location right off the interstate, a minute from the mall, two major roads, and they still botched it. This whole thing should be taught in business school as what not to do. There's a chic-fil-a down the street that has a bit worse location & still handles a double drive-thru at breakneck speed w/ no quality lost. It's crazy that they had 30 years to lock down this high-traffic spot & failed due to complacency, then Starbucks basically builds a whole setup in 6-8 months just to wallop them. If you've actually dealt w/ the crazy traffic in that thimble of a parking lot, the problems it's caused for a decade or two now, you get why locals are tired of it. Even remodeled outside, it really is still a drag on the area. Just go to Starbucks 10 feet away & there you go. The End. read more

Out of every doughnut except plan and cinnamon. They gave us 2 random powdered that were so rock hard I could barley break it with my fingers. The doughnuts were stale and you could tell they have been sitting. Should have gone to Krispy Kreme instead. If I could give negative stars I would not to mention the location sucks. I'm only docking one star due to the location. It can be tricky to get in and out of due to (1) very narrow driveways and (2) heavy traffic at that intersection. That intersection is not meant for the amount of traffic it has, which is something the city needs to take care of. Besides those two things, very pleasant experience. We were greeted at the drivethru immediately and the order taker was very patient with pregnant me deciding on what type of chocolate beverage I wanted. I had a frozen hot chocolate, hubby had a large iced coffee and we both had crullers. The frozen hot chocolate was a chocolatey dream in a liquid form. The crullers were moist and delicious and hubby enjoyed his iced coffee (he thinks he got a cold brew, no complaints there). read more

I have been visiting this location two or three times a week for about 3 1/2 years and have had the same unpleasant experience a several times. I have FINALLY had enough! I feel as if my only recourse is to write a review on Yelp, since I have never gotten the impression there that the management actually cares about the satisfaction of the customers. What is this bad experience, you ask? It's not the coffee (it's great!), nor the donuts (yum!). The problem is that their credit card machine "breaks" fairly regularly. This location is very popular in the morning and the drive thru is very crowded. There is an embankment right directly next to the drive thru and you can't get out of the line once you are in it, since you have the embankment on one side, the store on the other and five cars in front of you and behind you. It really sucks. So anyhow, I am really tired of waiting ten minutes in the drive-thru to get to the ordering place, only to see that there is a little piece of paper taped to it that says that the credit card machine isn't working temporarily. And if you tell them that you don't have any cash? "Okay." is their answer. They have never apologized for the inconvenience, not once. And you still have to wait like another 5 minutes to get out of the stupid line, and you leave with nothing! It is the MOST frustrating experience ever when you are running late and then think that 15 minutes for your yummy cup of coffee would be worth it. This happens so regularly there that I am wondering if it isn't on purpose (aren't those credit card fees high?). It is those little customer service details that go a long way, such as at least pretending that you care. read more

The service and food here are about what you would expect at DD. The donuts and coffee are always good and anything else is typically yucky-fast-food-ish. My big problem is the location. I lovingly refer to this DD as "The world's most inaccessible dunkin donuts." The location is just awful. It's right on the corner of the busiest intersection in town with no good way in or out. I've been going to this location about 4 times a week for years---BUT NEVER AGAIN. I was sitting in the drive-thru and noticed a young lady dip her hands in a red bucket on the counter next to the machines, squeeze out the excess water and start wiping up. I wasn't too concerned because she wasn't making my drink--Another young lady was in the process of preparing my iced latte. But then the girl making my drink did the same thing: SHE picked up the rag, wiped something, put it back, AND WITH HER UNWASHED HANDS, continued making my drink!!! I repeated this to the girl who was going to take my money and asked her to have my drink made over. The "girl with the unwashed hands" came to the window and told me that it was "sterilized water" , but she'd make it over again. I told her that no matter what was in the water, it was not hygenic. She then said, "sterilized water kills everything". I then told her to get someone else to make the drink. So, another worker started to make it, then moved out of my view....for far too long. That was it!!! I pulled around, went inside and asked for a refund. I had to drive to the Thornton Road location for my coffee---and it was like night and day. They used gloves and all of the preparation was done in full-view of the customer---and they were brimming with friendliness. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THE HWY 5 LOCATION. NEVER! read more

The workers seem a little rude in drive thru-- more so in the afternoon than anything-- and don't mark cups.. I went inside and asked for 3 lemon filled donuts, 3 Raspberry donuts and then the girl behind the counter rudely cut me of. She asked how many in total I wanted? I told her a dozen and completed my order. I was a little annoyed with the way she spoke and her tone of voice but it was only 6:30am and that early in the morning, I am not in the best of moods either and I have no idea what that girl's own life is like and so I decided not to make a big deal out of it. Let me start by saying I was super excited to see that there was another Dunkin Donuts in Douglasville so I would no longer have to drive all the way to Smyrna to get my coffee needs met I walk into the location I'm greeted and that was great I was very specific about what I wanted as I am with the other location that I go to that never gets it wrong which is in Smyrna off South Cobb Drive closer to the 285 end they are amazing I asked for a large vanilla chai I asked for extra chai and less foam so that I would then get a full cup of vanilla chai rather than 1/2 cup of drink and half cup of foam which is what causes me to not go to the other locations because they never seem to get it right I received my drink I immediately noticed the weight is off I open it up and there's more foam than there is beverage I bring it to the young lady's attention whose name is Linsey by the way and she said oh that's how it comes with the foam so I remind her of the order I placed and how specific I was and then proceeded to let her know that I will never return to this location I'm very disappointed by the fact that I was very specific about what I wanted I was clear with what I wanted only for her to still get it wrong very upsetting very disappointing and I will never return. Linsey I don't know how much more specific I could have been with you but for the fact that you did exactly what I asked you not to do after giving you Specific Instructions as to how to prepare my drink so that I can have my desired outcome it's just completely ridiculous you need to learn how to listen instead of being so concerned with the gossip that your co-workers had going on.
