I've never had donuts this delicious before. They are baked fresh every morning. Besides the donuts, the service is exceptional. The owner/baker is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. She is very grateful for her customers, and it shows. They also have fresh-baked kolaches, which I haven't had since I lived in Texas 20 years ago. I don't know how long Douglas Donut Shop will remain a well-kept secret in Hiram, but I don't care where you're driving from to get these donuts -- it will definitely be worth the trip. Stopped by for some morning donuts. Grabbed a couple glazed and blueberry. I was greeted when I entered. She was very nice! The place was pretty small. We had to hunt to find this store. At the time of our visit, there was still a sign for a business called Chartwell Staffing above their store. Upon entry, you find that it really is a donut store which opened on February 2, 2024. The staff person was really friendly and welcoming. The store has a cabinet refrigerator full of juices and soft drinks. The store has three display cabinets that were full of scrumptious looking donuts and fritters. I love Apple fritters so I picked up a few. Give them a try if you are in the Hiram shopping area and try their delicious donuts. read more

Called several times no one answered the phone. Their business hours say they were open today. This was at 2 PM. The door was locked with no sign saying it was closed or anything to indicate that they weren't open. read more

I came in here about a week ago and as soon as I walk in i am instantly greeted by the owner with the most genuine smile I've seen these days and that's immediately inviting me in, the coolers are slam full with drinks and the aroma of fresh pastry fills the air wonderfully . Anyways I ordered 4 kolaches 2 apple fritters and a dozen donut holes she then hands me a croissant and tells me here try it. I say are you sure? She nodded then I took a bite while she put my order together,This croissant was so buttery ,flaky and crispy I was so excited for everything else kolaches were made exactly how they make them in Texas and that's where they are best I would put 10 stars if I could!!! read more

Came here for the first time about a month ago to try some donuts. There were regulars who the owner seems to have a good relationship with and were regulars. When it was my turn to select donuts, the owner was patient. She even gave me a few donut holes and an apple fritter for free on top of the dozen I ordered! My husband and I are donut snobs. We have to find the mom and pop donut stores when we go somewhere and give them a try. So far our favorite places are in Oceanside California and St. Cloud Fl. I woke up bright and early this morning and got to Douglas donuts five minutes before opening. First person in the shop so I knew everything was fresh. I got a dozen mix and everything was super tasty. I really love their maple bacon doughnut. This is my new donut shop for Saturday mornings. The husband pleased when he woke up to fresh donuts.
