There was such a large variety of sweets that it was hard choosing just one. My friend and I split one-they're huge and I enjoyed a seasonal hot latte. It was the perfect balance of coffee and sweet without being overwhelming. The space is very open and vivid and would be perfect for working if you're looking for a nice space to do so. Just a typical experience but also a really good college outing memory. The matcha I had from there wasn't particularly my favorite but they used to keep their espresso machine up at night during the performance, I'm not completely sure if I remember correctly if they sold liquor or alcohol but the drink that I did have from there the first time I went was pretty good. The ambiance is pretty normal for greensboro, I feel like almost every establishment you walk in, there will be cracked floors but I just remember the staff was pretty awesome and as far as pastries, they had a pretty good variety and gluten free options and other food sensitivity options. I believe a few years ago, I recall an episode of "Catfish" where Nev and Max also visited this place so that was pretty interesting to experience that but honestly a pretty decent place.

It's the kind of place where you can sit alone with a book and feel completely comfortable... and I absolutely plan to do that next time. I'm assuming the person running everything was the owner, and if so -- wow. Cooking, waiting tables, checking on guests -- all while still being warm and present. I had no idea about their mission, and I had no idea about the experience I was about to have. The kindness and the skill that the employees here brought to their jobs is worth both notice and appreciation. The quality of the coffee is great, and the atmosphere is like a family reunion. It truly is a community space. On my next trip out to Greensboro, this is where I'll be getting my coffee.

Walking in from outside almost had a calming effect. Kudos to whoever was in charge of the ambiance. I kept it simple and got an iced Oatmilk latte with honey and vanilla. A little sweeter than I normally do but still great flavor. It's nice and light too. Some Oatmilk lattes can be in the heavy side, this wasn't. The staff was awesome. Someone opened the door for us. I will not be recommending this business establishment to anyone. I felt it was rude, and the employee was just being lazy. I didn't get her name, but she was middle aged, kind of slender, and had short, purple hair. Ya'll need to get your priorities straight. It's usually quiet enough to focus, though on a recent visit, somebody broke out the giant wooden connect four... The vibe is usually very relaxed and the owl motif proclaiming that you should "change the plan, but never the goal" really appealed to me. I usually get matcha lattes, but as I recall, their matcha comes pre-sweetened. Staff is always friendly and they recently put up some Christmas decor that helps hit that warm and cozy feel. In front they have lots of coffee and related items to buy and take home. And the location is great for access by walking to other shops and restaurants. I only wish they had longer hours, but maybe that's my own fault for working so late.

But today was the day! As soon as you show up, you know this isn't your typical coffee shop. The outside of the place looks like it could be an Inn in the neighborhood (which who knows maybe it was at one point.) The vibe inside gives off quiet workspace/library, and definitely gives off the lobby of an Inn (think Gilmore Girls.) There was some people scattered around but I didn't take a deep look inside since I was just passing by. I ordered my ice vanilla latte. The first thing I remember realizing was that it wasn't very sweet. Which is not a bad thing, sometimes they can be made really sweet other times they can be not so sweet. This latte was in the middle. I could taste the creaminess from the oat milk too. I would definitely check this place out again and try out some of their other drinks that they offer. I would even like to stay in and work inside and see more of the environment inside.
