I had been wanting to stop by Dolce and Amaro for a while now and I finally was able to stop by the other day. The space is a bit tiny so seating is a little limited, but it wasn't packed when I went in so getting a seat was not an issue. Their case is filled with a HUGE variety of treats. I was definitely pleased to see all the different types of baked goods provided by the place. There was a lot of things that caught my eye but ultimately i decided to go with a tiramisu cup and another tiramisu baked good (reminded me of a cupcake but wasnt one). I will say the flavors were definitely there for both treats. The cup was delicious and was very rich I would definitely get it again. The baked good was personally not my favorite. It was a little too hard but the top was delicious. I would definitely go back in and try out some of their other treats that are not just tiramisu. I definitely encourage everyone to go check out this little spot if you're in the mood for a little treat.

Omg this is such a great location and the building is stunning. I thought the inside would be bigger but honestly it's perfect. We saw this on yelp actually and I am big on desserts so I had to come by. Walked in and immediately was greeted and asked to be helped. I looked around a bit and wanted everything I saw. I ended up with a few pastries which barely made it back to the hotel. I am definitely stopping by before heading back home and will try my best to come here on weekends. Those lobster tails and tarts were amazing. I recommend the pistachio lobster tails and the chattily cream puff.

This is a fabulous little Italian Bakery featuring some very high quality desserts. I ordered a Chantilly lobster tail pastry as well as a few assorted macaron flavors. Both tasted amazing. You can tell that the pastries all have exceptional craftsmanship, and that they use quality ingredients. Service was extremely friendly. The desserts are indeed slightly on the pricier side, but they are so elegantly made and tasty that I believe they're worth the price, especially the tarts and pastries. Definetely stop by if you want a fancy sweet treat!

OMG, we got the lobster tails. I had the Chantilly and my son got a pistachio. It was sooooo good. Nice and crunchy and STUFFED with cream. So good and they are BIG.

After a two hour drive to Greensboro, North Carolina to attend the Triad Yelpies 2025 at Boots & Bourbons in the Westover Gallery of Shops, and since I arrived an hour early, my CM Erik recommended that I give this Italian Artisan Bakery, which was next door, a try. This highly rated bakery known for authentic Italian pastries like sfogliatelle, lobster tails, and cannoli, used high-quality ingredients like Sicilian pistachio and hazelnut creams. As soon as I walked in, these ingredients stood out in colorful, sweet, masterpiece creations. The seating space was small, but so was the space of some of the best bakeries in Rome, Italy, and best chocolateries in Brussels and Bruges, Belgium, which I've had the pleasure of visiting and trying out their sweet delights. The high ceilings and windows of this amazing gourmet bakery, gave the space a majestic look, yet its small size retained it warmth and cozy ambiance. A friendly young lady greeted me behind the counter and invited me to take my time admiring their sweet creations and to let her know when I was ready to order. I think she was able to tell from the expression on my face that this was my first time there and how I was amazingly surprised at the beauty of their highly attractive desserts. While I was choosing what to order, a young couple who had just finished eating, were at the counter ordering a few treats to go. I finally decided what to order and asked the young lady behind the counter for a Mignon (a small fruit tart) and an Iced Café Mocha. Both were delicious. As I was slowly enjoying my sweet treats, another young couple came in, made their order, and sat down to enjoy their treats as well. This reminded me of the cafés that I had visited in Paris years ago. How the young couples would save their money to give themselves the pleasure of spending some quality time together enjoying a special treat at an elegant Café. In conclusion I loved the place. It's delightful ambiance, amazing variety of very unique bakery items, and wonderful customer service, provided for an exceptional sweet treat dining experience.

I'm not sure how I walked out with only one pastry, but I will be back for more! It was my first time in so it took me some time to take everything in and decide, but I was encouraged to take my time and wasn't pressured. The storefront is fairly small, but spacious enough to sit a few people inside, but there are a few tables outside as well. Desserts are beautifully displayed and everything looked delicious. I love that they serve large slices of cakes and tarts but also have bite sized servings if you want to try a few different things. The pistachio cream puff was a perfect little pillow of deliciousness. Small in size but packed with flavor and filled with light, cold scrumptious cream. My intention was to eat half and save the rest for later, but it was too good to put down! I already have my heart set on the pistachio filled lobster tail and the tiramisu cake for next time!

Loved the barista customer service, she made me an awesome double expresso. Tried the Hazelnut lobster tail which was so fresh and balanced, I appreciate that they have large & small because I prefer smaller items. Lastly Inside is very well maintained and welcoming,

While in Greensboro for the Yelpie Awards, I stopped at Dolce & Amaro to grab my wife and kids a sweet treat. Dolce & Amaro is in a nice little shopping center next to Boots & Bourbon and across from Lucky 32. It's a quaint little shop that is dimly lit to create a cafe type ambiance. There are a few places to sit but if it were busy you may have to get things to go. They have several large displays with a variety of homemade pastries and desserts. The lady behind the counter was friendly and helpful in making selections. I decided on 3 different types of desserts for the family to try. 1) Cannolis - these were hand made and very good. Probably my least favorite of the 3, but only because I liked the other 2 so much. These tasted just like cannolis I had in Italy on vacation a year ago!! 2) Chantilly Eclair - a delicious pastry with a chocolate shell. The Chantilly cream is light and fluffy and absolutely delicious!!! 3) Chantilly Lobster Tail - this was by far my favorite. A little messy as it is large, but the pastry is light and crispy and it uses the same Chantilly cream mentioned above. This was the one that everyone in the family enjoyed the most!! Overall the prices are a little higher than some other bakeries at $2-3 for a small dessert and $5-$6 for a large one. But the quality is high and definitely worth it. Would make a great after dinner dessert location to celebrate a birthday or anniversary if you are looking for something different.

I ordered the hot pistachio latte. It was beautiful and delicious. The coffee used in it was strong, but not overpowering. And the pistachio flavor was good and not overbearing. My daughter ordered some macaroons. They were delicious and well baked. The lady that helped us was friendly interacted with my daughter and made sure we had everything we needed. Inside was neat and decorated well.

Love this spot. So cute and cozy and pretty with soooo many delicious dessert options. They have tons of gluten free options as well and dairy free drink options. The whipped cream on the hot chocolate was one of the most delicious experiences of my life and all the parties were divine.

I only have one issue with this Bakery. There's too much to choose from. They have lobster tails, which are my favorite ! (I'm from up north) The cakes that are ready to purchase our perfect for dinner party invites small get-togethers. They are beautiful pieces of art. They have sweet and savory options . And the people are always friendly . Indoor and outdoor seating available .

This is a spot that I pass through a lot of times (even had lunch a few times close) but didn't saw. It is super discreet by the outside but super cosy inside. And the balcony has sooo many beautiful options! It is difficult to choose but we made very good choices! I highly recommend The "ugly but good" (great meringue, bought 2 but I should get more), dulce de leche biscotti and pistachios cannoli. The service is also great and helpful to understand the items and options. The only sad thing is that there isn't many spaces inside to eat. So we had to take away and eat in home. But I would strongly recommend to have lunch at Osteria and then go there to dessert. It is a perfect Italian match.

I stopped last minute for coffee before lunch as the exterior grabbed my attention immediately. How have I missed this!? They have a white chocolate and salted caramel latte that sounded like a must try! It was amazing! Still had the lovely robust coffee flavor with a bit of sweetness. There is limited seating inside as well as outside seating. It's very quiet and cozy if you have time to sip your coffee while you're here. So glad I stopped here. I'll have to come back for desserts another time.

I only went to Cheesecakes by Alex because it was the meeting place selected by someone I was meeting with. I thought I would grab a tea, have the meeting, and then leave. However, nothing went as planned. Lol First, I am a "sucker" for eclectic vibes, which is the ambiance that the Elm St. location gives. The inside has a large mural on the wall, it has rustic flooring and furniture, and it is nothing like what I had pictured. I thought I would encounter a more "refined" place where everyone had their pinky in the air because of how everyone raved about Alex and his freaking cheesecake. Gracious! I completely understand now. I mean, I get it. Lol So after the meeting, this roughly drawn menu reeled me in because it had CHAI TEA. That's my jam. Once I had a sip of my delicious hot Chai tea with almond milk, I KNEW everything else was probably tasty, so I (in a reserved way) ordered an apple muffin. The muffin smelled divine, so I inquired (because I HAD to lol) about the best-selling cheesecakes. The cashier smiled at me and directed me to the Bourbon Pecan and the White Chocolate Raspberry flavored cheesecakes. They were $6 per slice, and I couldn't decide, so I had her pack both. I had a long day planned, so I had to take the slices home and refrigerate them. I almost forgot about them until around 10:30 when I had a sweet craving, and...have mercy! BOTH cheesecakes were velvety smooth, flavorful, and decadent. The Bourbon Pecan was heavenly. I could definitely taste its unique flavor pairings, and it had enough pecans. I also loved the buttery crust. The White Chocolate Raspberry was rich and creamy, with the tang of the raspberry exactly where and when you need it in every bite. I had to take bites out of each, you know, to treat them fairly. Lol Although I paid dearly for eating too much dairy, it was worth the experience. Sometimes, you just have to eat the lactose pill and jump in! I'm so glad I did. Now you know that Cheesecakes by Alex is Kiesha Speech approved. Hands down, they are bringing more than flavor.
