I love Dunkin. But wow. 5 employees. No one ahead of me. Mobile order of a medium coffee with milk. Five employees, and only one was actually making coffee. So I stood there for five minutes while they could've just made a medium coffee with milk in a few moments. That was one of the weirdest experiences. Didn't even get to try their donuts because I stood at the register for 3 minutes and out of all 10 employees, no one could even say "we'll be right with you" they avoided eye contacts completely. Inconsistency. That's the key word. This morning I was looking forward to their hot chocolate which is usually pretty good. (I got away from their coffee due to inconsistency of quality). Well now the hot chocolate is the same. Also i never got a paper receipt. (Just an incidental note here). The drink was like water, lots of water, with a little chocolate for flavor. I did call to tell them and they were gracious in that they offered for me to return and get a replacement. C'mon, most of us denizens of the morning coffee lines are going to work. We can hardly leave our jobs to drive a mile or two to replace what should be quality checked on site. So now I guess we should all wait before leaving the window and taste everything before we leave? I don't know what the answer is to the inconsistency. Training? Quality control people watching what goes out? It is NOT the barista's fault. They go by the book. But SOMEONE in store management needs to wake up and pay attention. I'm going to go to a nearby (but slightly out of the way) store and hope for better quality. If it's better, great. They'll have a loyal daily customer. If not, it's a company problem. The place seemed pretty clean upon entry. Took a little bit after ordering to get our food but they were pretty busy. A couple staff members were treating their coworkers a little nasty so that wasn't awesome to see. The girl that helped prep our order was super friendly. The service was very disappointing. Not a single crew member greeted me or any other customer. They had a new guy training and were very quick and dismissive when he was asking for help. I came inside after they forgot my donut in DT and saw all of this happening. Overall really crappy experience every time I go to the Kent location. Make sure you check your order before you pull away from the drive through. The service here is so bad. They answer the intercom rudely half the time. My roommate ordered a coffee and two frosted vanilla cream donuts (the same order we've been getting for years). They handed him two large coffees originally and he had to correct them to just give him his one, When he came home the donuts were powdered and we thought they were jelly filled. I went back with the receipt to get the proper donuts, forgetting the two others at home and they tried to charge me. I wasn't trying to be a trouble I just wanted the donuts we've ordered and have been ordering for years. The lady with extremely short hair was very rude to me. She seemed to be in a leadership position. She wanted to charge me for the correct donuts so I drove back home and got the other ones and came back and she explained to me that the powdered sugar ones were in fact cream filled and not jelly which is fine but once again, not what we ordered and I wasn't going to argue with her especially with her attitude. I love Dunkin Donuts. The service is always fast and the location is always squeaky clean. This is the only restaurant that will have a line wrapped around the building but never concerns me because it goes so fast. I love when I use the app and my order is prepared when I walk in. I go here a lot and every experience is wonderful. I usually order a french vanilla or cookie dough (when in season) iced coffee without cream or sugar. It is amazing and gives me the desired energy needed to maintain my energy. If i order food, I typically order a ham and cheese croissant. Its the best ever!!! The Dunkin' is not conveniently located. Though the Dunkin' is right off of the highway, one must turn around in order to get to the Dunkin. Location aside, the staff was speedy and super friendly, which is great! The coffee was clearly fresh and made with diligence, also appreciated. Why a 4 and not a 5? The location truly knocks this Dunkin' out of five contention, but it's definitely worth a stop, especially if you're on a trip and passing by this exit! read more

I am writing to express my concerns about an experience I had today, January 18th, 2023, at the 527 E. Main St. location in Kent, Ohio. I had parked my car and gone in to order my usual drink. When I got my drink, I walked upstairs and sat down to start doing my homework, as I am a Nursing Student at Kent State University. To my dismay, I look down and see that 10 minutes into my stay my car was being towed by a tow truck in the parking lot. I ran downstairs to stop the man towing my car while the manager nonchalantly comes out of the store and claims that "she never saw me in the store" and that I "must have been in the bathroom" which was not even true as I had not gone to the restroom at all during that time. I simply grabbed my coffee and sat down in their upstairs lounge. Additionally, after this whole incident, I received no apology, and when I tried to find this manager, she was no where to be seen. It would have been nice to at least receive a refund for my coffee or a free voucher for a drink. Ultimately, I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the customer service and the incompetence of this store and the leading supervisor. I would not recommend this location at all. read more

And you have a mobile order for walk-in pickup, good luck trying to get them to remember what donut you ordered, or that you even ordered donuts in the first place. They never mix the syrups at the bottom. It's gross taking a drink of straight syrup. It takes 3 seconds to make sure it nicely mixed together. My friend and I mobile ordered to this Dunkin' at around 3:50 pm and headed over a few minutes later. We went inside and our food/drinks were not ready yet so we just waited around. We never said anything to any of the girls working. After waiting inside for 10-15 minutes or so one of the girls asked us (rather rudely) what we were waiting for. We said it was a mobile order and gave our name. The girl seemed to recognize the name, and she just walked away. Another 10 minutes later, and we get the drinks we ordered. I walked over to the trash can to throw something away and I heard one of the girls whisper to another one "the bagels are kinda burnt," but I wasn't sure if they were referring to ours so I didn't say anything. A few minutes later and another girl handed us our food, again quite rudely, and told us the bagels were really hot. When we looked at them they were extremely burnt. This Dunkin Donuts has a great location in Kent. It's close to my house and i can go through to drive through on my way to class and work. Dunkin has my favorite coffee but i've been really disappointed with their service lately. I am lactose intolerant as well as vegan. Every day on my way to work or class i order coffee or a latte with almond milk. i make sure to clearly order almond milk, i have them repeat my order back to me, and i double check with them at the window, but they still give me cow milk at least three or four times a week. They did it to me twice yesterday. It's not only a hazard to my health, but it's an inconvenience to me to have to go into the store and have them fix my drink multiple times a week when i am in a hurry to be at work or class.
