HORRIBLE. AWFUL. ATROCIOUS "SERVICE." This review is for the 8355 College Park location- Lincoln, Ne 68520 I decided to go inside the "Donut" store today, so that I could look at the Donut selection , since they are always out of Donuts by noon. I was informed by an employee this is because they are now known as "Dunkin" and not "Donuts"- as the company wants to focus more on food and coffee, so when they run out of Donuts, (that are baked the night BEFORE) that's it. You're out of luck....oh, and the sign still reads "Dunkin' Donuts"... Anyway, when I went inside, there was one car that had pulled into the drive thru. This was approximately at 12:05pm. I was acknowledged after a couple of minutes standing at the counter. An unseen employee yelled; "I'll be right with you".... Several minutes later, an employee came to the counter, I ordered 3 donuts and two basic iced coffees. $16.00. She said she'd be back with my coffees....but then the drive thru got busy. She clearly forgot about me, and then a Door Dash order came in. It was chaos. All I wanted were my two iced coffees. Not specialty drinks. Iced coffee. I told the girl that I had been waiting over 13 minutes at the counter, and she said; "WHAT? I just helped you." I told her I'd been there for SEVERAL minutes, before she ever got to me for the donuts, and that I still needed my coffee. She then told me that I needed to go stand at the other end of the counter because that's where you pick up your order.... Ok. The order wasn't there. She went on to tell me that they were "extremely busy" with the drive thru, and that they are timed on the drive thru service, so I'd have to wait!!!! I don't even know how many cars came thru while I was placed on indefinite hold. Then she said; "I want to get this Door Dash out of here." When I told her that she needed to just stop and get me my coffee, she said; "you're making me laugh"... "we're busy, and there is just two of us, we have to clear the drive thru" Look, I was there before any of the other cars in the drive thru. How dare she ignore the customer standing right in front of her, and then go on to be verbally combative with me as a paying customer, I was being dismissed, & disrespected. The audacity. This woman has no business working in the service industry. Have we become so desperate for employees that this is what we've stopped to? I will tell everyone to avoid this place. There's a Krispy Creme right down the street, AND a STARBUCKS. When I finally got back into my car, it was 12:22pm. 17 minutes of my life I will never get back. I was the ONLY customer in the store when I had entered 17 minutes prior, and treated like sh*t. I called and reported this to their customer service. I'd like my money back, and an apology. read more

FYI What they call an Old Fashioned, is a plain cake donut. Where every other donut shop calls sour cream donuts "Old Fashioned". Shock to the system when you think you're getting a flavourful donut and instead get a plain cake donut. Not sure why a giant chain company wouldn't use industry standard terminology. read more

Today I purchased 2 dozen glazed donuts. I don't know who is glazing them.... All I have to say is where the heck is the donut? It was so glazed the donut was white. read more

Came in over the weekend and asked for 2 chocolate sprinkle donuts and one strawberry sprinkle donut. I'm a new app user and the lady at the register took my payment then I had asked if she was gonna ask if I had the app and she goes to tell me "I don't ask" so I'm like ok well I haven't used the app before so I didn't know how it works so how can I get my points and she states "you do it before paying" and I'm like ok...?? So can I get a refund and get some points!? She proceeds to close the window and through it I can hear her not happy "*managers name* she's trying to get a refund because she didn't get points" manager is nice and helpful with a good attitude, sweet thanks! Get home and there's no sprinkles on either of the donuts so I call and manager says she can get me new ones either that day or a different day so I tell her Tuesday works. Get here Tuesday and say "there should be a couple free donuts for *my name* and they ask if they were the blueberry ones I say no...they were chocolate with sprinkles and the drive thru girl says " k pull up". Ok I proceed to the window and I know I'm gonna need water but as soon as I get to the window she gives me the bag and closes the window so of course I'm going to check the donuts. At this point I'm mad because how rude to just close the window that fast and you didn't ask at the speaker if I needed anything else. So I look inside the bag and I see the stingy amount of sprinkles but I'm not about to make them swap it out and squish or spit or whatever their attitudes would want them to do to my kids' donuts. Anyways I'm still sitting there after checking the donuts and I ask if I can get two waters and they charge $0.55 awesome that's cheap enough here's some coins. She turns around and tells her coworker can you get her those waters and walks away and makes the other girl finish the checkout for her. 2/2 times I've gone both were gross attitudes from the big bad drive thru girls. And you guys wonder why you only have two stars... read more

We put a bad review of Dunkin Donuts a couple of years ago and we would like to change it. The past year plus, donuts have improved big time. Always friendly service in spite of the struggles they have finding people to work, when they have to come in at 3:30 in the morning. Why do people rave about this place? I ordered breakfast, egg, sausage, cheese croissant, hash browns, and a coffee. Coffee was fine, it was coffee. There were ONLY five hash browns in the "large" for 99¢!!! And later that day the egg sandwich made me sick. Avoid this location! You've been warned! I was impressed with great customer service by a young lady named Bri. She was very friendly and patient with all of my questions. It was towards the end of the day and she still had a welcoming spirit. This makes me want to visit this location again. Extremely slow. Several times they have been out of certain types of donuts. Do not recommend.

Stopped on a Saturday night at 6:40 and the doors were already locked. Website and door info said they were open till 7. Stood out in 10 degree weather with two little kids that wanted donuts for breakfast. Girl inside saw us but made no move to explain early closing. Was going to contact management but if they pay any attention to these reviews they know what a bad establishment they run. Will never go back. read more

Visited today right before noon. The gentleman taking the order ahead of our car said to the customer, " OH, coconut donuts? Nobody likes those so we will always have those." He also didn't catch our order until we reviewed it several times.. Wow, just wow! Service seemed slow on purpose. Five minutes between cars. I'm new to Nebraska, and from the previous reviews here, I get the sense that y'all have higher standards than some other states. (That's a good thing!) Honestly, this was a standard Dunkin' Donuts, hence the 3 stars. Employees were friendly, food and coffee were prompt and up to standards, and -- unlike what I was expecting from reviews -- the place did not look like a busy NYC Dunkin' Donuts where there's too many customers and not enough employees around to keep the place clean. ;) It looked like most DDs I've seen. But as I said, I may just have lower standards than y'all. There's also a drive thru option, which makes me happy. Update: the folks that work here work hard and the place is understaffed. DD really needs more than 2 people working the morning rush. You can barely keep a drive thru running that way, let alone a drive thru and an indoor register. read more

We often visit DD because our little one loves their double chocolate donuts, last night we went to KOHLs and when we were coming back LO decided that she would get one donut. It was almost 9 and I rushed to the store, I was sad seeing there was no double chocolate on the shelf but the guy working there told me he had two left on the tray and he refused to charge me hearing that I was eagerly looking for that for my daughter, I was surprised, thanked him and left the store. I give 5 Stars because Holy crap, this location knows how to genuinely frost their Donuts. The entire top of the Donut is just oozing in delicious frosting. Also the ones with Sprinkles...Just enough sprinkles to satisfy me. You know they tell me that the baker who does this comes in at midnight to make all these donuts. I used to work overnights and let me tell you, it's no picnic. I told them, that not all heroes wear capes. This place is great. And the coffee is not bad either. I have visited this location on a few different occasions and every time it is filthy. All of the tables are dirty every time I have visited. The restrooms were disgusting. The coffee and donuts are standard for Dunkin Donuts. The dirtiness of this location is what will keep me from coming back. read more

Repeatedly mess up coffee orders and never apologize. THREE TIMES IN A ROW The last time I drove back and went inside and was told "we know" then when I got my drink, still no apology and the male worker smiled and said " honest mistake". Horrible service on 84th street in Lincoln. Got rushed on our order and Jeremy was very short with us. No one else in line and place didn't close for 45minutes. Had to explain to my kids that some people just aren't happy on Christmas! read more

My first review. Just as others have noted in the past few months. Tables are very dirty. I was the only customer in the store. They were too busy chatting it up in the back to clean the tables. Also says that the have free WiFi. Problem is SSID isn't properly labeled and it requires a password. Talk about inconvenient. Service was quick though.
