What a fun little location! I remember 15-20 years ago Lincoln only had 2 scooters or so but now we have more than I can count! These smaller drive thru style locations are fun and you can walk up as well. Handy in these little strip malls or shopping centers like this one. Drink was correct and tasty. Service was absolutely terrible. We went there at 7 oclock (which should not effect the drinks) and ordered two blenders both without espresso. My sisters was fine but mine was with espresso. We of course asked them to remake it and it took so long. When I got it, i tasted it and it tasted like straight water with no flavor. I love local coffee but this has been the only place (so far) that made me want to move! Traveling from Dallas to Lincoln for business, I was surprised by the sheer amount of brick and mortar Scooter's stores! I knew they had to be up to something good. I walked in to a warm atmosphere (which was necessary for early March weather) and stepped up to the counter to make my order. I was surprised that they had their turtle latte on their main menu, so I decided to get a small. I was very delighted with my drink! The espresso was perfectly balanced with the syrup and additional flavors. It wasn't too sweet or bitter (which is a difficult balance to find). The best part is this is one location out of the 8 that are within 2 miles of our hotel This is a great location of a great chain serving awesome coffee! read more

Out of all the Scooter's in town -- this is my favorite store!! They nail my order every single time and they're so quick and speedy. I love the sit down option inside as it's a great place to study, sit down with a friend for a breakfast date, or need a quick drink on your walk. The staff is super friendly and they'll never force a conversation on you. Some mornings before my coffee, I'm in the mood to chat for days with their high energy, but some days I just need my coffee to be able to hold any kind of conversation. I love how they respect that. I went for some iced tea with my daughter who was home from college. The teas was good, but expensive. And the refills cost $1.00. Was not happy about that as I spend $4.00 on two iced teas. Won't go for tea again. You should get at least one free refill. The place was full of middle school kids waiting on their parents to pick them up. Don't go around 3:30 pm. Specifically downloaded Yelp just to leave a poor review, only to be disappointed that 0 stars was not an option. I guess 1 star will suffice. Messed up the entirety of my order, both the food and the drink. Ordered an Everything bagel, only to receive some garbage ciabatta in its place. Even the remake of the E bagel sandwich was of a horrid and careless thrown-together-in-a-hurry appearance. I am also confused on how you can apply to this job, gain the experience of working here on a regular basis, and still confuse a Hazelnut chai for a Hazelnut latte. Now don't get me wrong, I understand people make mistakes, but when you set the finished drink out announcing "Hazelnut chai!" to the store, you must be held somewhat accountable for your complete disregard to the botch that you have half-assed, excuse me, "created". We were in Lincoln, NE this last weekend and in need of some caffeine prior to our drive home. Although we were looking for a Starbucks, it was suggested that we try Scooter's Coffee. This was a great idea. Scooter's has good coffee and lacks some of the pretentiousness that Starbucks has. Here you can get your coffee drink hot, on ice, or blended. Although we wanted our coffee hot, the server talked us out of it and we decided on blended drinks....think frappacino! I had a caramel and my wife had the candy bar latte made with Snickers (or you choice of any candy). Both were fantastic. You could actually taste the coffee beneath all of the cream and sweetener. They went down so smooth. Sure, I'm not going to get much of a chance to go to Scooter's again, but if I'm ever out in Nebraska, I'll be sure to stop here for a "tall, cold one". read more

They have sandwiches & a ton of drinks (coffee, juice, pop...pretty much anything you're thirsty for except alcohol) Lots of light, nice interior, easy parking, and nice bathrooms. Great location. I go hear quite often because its close for me and many of my co-workers to meet up and grab a cup of coffee. They have a lot to offer including sandwiches at Brown Baggers, fro-yo, and a lot of comfortable chairs. They also have a large back room that holds up to 10 people and you can reserve it for free as long as the people who reserve it buy something to eat/drink. read more

You might get better service going through the drive-thru since the girl with the headset on ignored me as I stood at the counter! Her coworker had to tell her to speak to me. Same coworker overfilled my iced tea cup with ice and then used the scoop to fish ice out of the cup! He then seemed pissed when I asked him to wipe the spilled tea off of the side of the cup before handing it to me. Ever feel like you're an inconvenience? That was my Scooter's experience. read more

I don't recommend this place! First, it took a few minutes for anyone to come up to the counter and help me because the 4 employees were just standing around behind the counter talking to each other about their personal lives. When someone did come up, she was very friendly. I ordered a very plain egg salad sandwich which I expected could be made right away and pretty quick too given that it is very simple and there were no other customers and the employees weren't doing anything. But I was given a buzzer so I would be notified when the sandwich was ready. Unfortunately, the buzzer never went off so I just kept sitting there and sitting there. Until finally someone noticed me looking around wondering what was taking so long. Evidentially, my sandwich had been sitting in the window for me to take for a while. BAD idea to give a buzzer to the one and only customer you have! Wouldn't it be smarter to give personalized service by remembering who I am and bringing it to me, especially since I'm 9 months pregnant and sitting right next to the food window? Do you really need that many employees with that few customers? Maybe if you had less, they would focus more on work and the customers than each other. read more

Not busy. 4 behind the counter. Took 15 min for someone to ask if we wanted help. Bfast sandwiches were served cold. When we went back to the counter to tell them we did not get a cinnamon roll we had ordered for our niece 2 of the 4 counter staff were on their cell phones and it took 5 min for them to acknowledge us and no apology let alone a smile. As a long term resident of Lincoln we were more than disappointed. Never going back. Bagels and Joe is much better and we will go out of our way to avoid this Scooters. read more

It's scooters so you get your typical large chain coffee shop drinks and treats. This place is unique for its sheer size and they also have a large frozen yogurt selection. I usually use the drive thru on my way to work. The person who is most often at the window is wonderful and helps start my day off right. Very pleasant and helpful. The cinnamon scones are great and I really like the breakfast sandwiches - especially on the ciabatta bread. My daughter orders the strawberry smoothies here all the time. Today she was there with a friend, ordered a strawberry smoothie and was asked, "ice or cream?" Never ever been asked that before, so she guessed and said ice. Most smoothies have some ice, right? Mistake. It was not what she wanted and told the employee. He was extremely rude and told her too bad, that's what she had ordered. If she wanted something else, she would have to order another one. So $12 later, she had her usual strawberry smoothie.
