2nd time here! First review! This location is fairly new in the JP gas station plaza. I've only gone thru the drive thru. Today I got an unexpected surprise the customer ahead of me paid for my food. I ordered the usual - hash browns and orange juice. As I pulled up to pay, the cashier said it's paid in full! I was like Oh wow! Really! . The driver had pulled off so I wasn't able to thank her. So I then paid for the driver behind me. I said to myself hopefully that driver will pay for the driver behind him. Just keep the kindness going! The cashier was very nice and friendly as always. Again this is my second visit and it was just as good as the first. I did notice the 91 score posted in the window. . The line also was moving fairly quick. There were 5 cars in line including mine at the time of my order. It was about 9:45 AM so most had gotten breakfast. I travel this route quite often so I'm certain this won't be the last time visiting this location. It's in a great location you can't miss it. This was easily one of the worst customer service experiences I've had at a Dunkin. I ordered a sparkling drink which, for the record, is supposed to actually SPARKLE. Yet lately, every time I order one from this location, it's flat. Why am I paying extra for what essentially tastes like flavored water? This time, I tried to avoid the problem before it happened. At the drive-thru, I politely asked the employee, "Would you please use a fresh bottle of sparkling water for my drink?" Her response? "Pull around." Okay...but that didn't answer my question. So I asked AGAIN, "Would you please use a fresh bottle of sparkling water?" Another pause. "Pull around." At that point, I told her I would park and come inside. Walking into the store explained a lot. The energy was absolutely miserable. No greeting. No smiles. No acknowledgment. NOTHING. Everyone looked like being there was the absolute last thing they wanted to do. And here's the thing: I understand that people have bad days. What I don't understand is making your bad day the CUSTOMER'S problem. If you're working in customer service, basic courtesy shouldn't feel like an unreasonable request. I politely asked for my order and was met with what can only be described as a death stare. Then I tasted the drink. FLAT. Exactly what I had specifically asked them to prevent. I asked for it to be remade using a fresh bottle of sparkling water. Simple solution, right? Apparently not. A woman wearing a blue shirt, who told me her name was Naja, actually instructed the employee NOT to remake my drink. At that point, the situation went from poor customer service to absolutely ridiculous. I wasn't going to stand there arguing because I had somewhere to be, so I simply asked for a refund. Her response? She WALKED AWAY and told me to "call corporate." Seriously? I asked for the corporate contact information, and she told me it was on my receipt. It wasn't. So let's recap: Dunkin charged me for a sparkling beverage, gave me a flat one, ignored me when I specifically asked for a fresh bottle, refused to remake a drink that was clearly not prepared properly, refused to give me a refund, walked away from me, and then gave me incorrect information about how to contact corporate. All over a DRINK. This could have been resolved in 30 seconds: "Absolutely, we'll remake that for you." Instead, the staff turned an incredibly simple request into an unnecessarily hostile interaction. The flat drink was irritating. The attitude was unacceptable. But a person who appears to be in a leadership position actively telling another employee NOT to correct a customer's order and then walking away when the customer requests a refund? That's the part management and corporate should be paying attention to. If providing a customer with the product they actually paid for or simply treating them with basic respect is this much of an inconvenience, something is seriously wrong at this location. I left without the drink I paid for, without a refund, and with absolutely no desire to return. Do better. read more

This location makes the best drinks WHEN THEY HAVE THE PRODUCTS!!! However. The staff changes so frequently it's always a guessing game. The phone system has been broken for MONTHS as I did try to call and compliment the staff one day even after giving them a monetary tip of encouragement for a good job. (It's my practice to tip always.) There are days that you can't even get a drink because they are often out of SOMETHING. The donuts later in the afternoon aren't as delicious/fresh as other locations. The other day the ENTIRE SCANNING SYSTEM WAS DOWN. I couldn't use my converted points. Nor could I get credit for the purchase. I declined the sale because I settled on Oatmilk vs Almond milk because they were out of stock. why sacrifice what you really want and have to pay for it if you don't like. it. Ohhhhh. the drive thru was out of service because of the scanning system. Honestly.... The few Dunkin Donuts in the area seem to get mostly great young employees that are enthusiastic. The managers.... Geeze. If they could show a little life of happiness to have a job. She wasn't rude. She was simply unaffected by not being able to serve her customer. Only giving one star to comment.. this place need to get new management for better professionalism! I thought even when you go into an establishment as long as you weren't with a customer to always be attentive to the customer. So even if counting inventory stop what you are doing to help the customer! Not let all the load be on the one employee that is behind the counter. This location desperately needs an adult supervisor. They are always talking, playing, goofing off. They also cannot understand that when you ask for "cream but no sugar" your coffee should not look white. They really need to get an adult in there to help supervise! read more

My pet peeve is when food items aren't fixed the way they are ordered. I visited this location today. The wait was ridiculously long. It took about 15 minutes in the drive through with only 5 cars ahead of me. I ordered a lightly toasted bagel and a croissant no egg. Guess what?!? The bagel was burnt and there was egg on the croissant. I pulled the receipt and it was rang up the way I asked ... it was just completely ignored when prepared. I'm highly irritated because I'm all the way back home and am far too tired to go back. I called to complain but no answer... I won't return to this location. Ever!!! read more

There is always a line wrapped around the building 1/2 a mile long. You'd think the back up was because they're so busy. Unfortunately, no. Step inside this establishment and you see exactly what the problem is. No, it's not coffee brewing adding to queue times. No, it's not the "we are so short staffed" excuse coined of late. There are anywhere from 5-8 employees on shift at a time and boy do I mean shift because these jokers are doing anything but working. The drive through attendant takes orders then leans up against the window for a nice 10+ minute text session while sipping coffee from a straw out of the side of their mouth. The hot food attendant throws in an order every now and then between texts. The coffee runners are either nowhere to be found, texting, or utterly botching the definition of coffee (though I'm sure the recipes are very accessible if one cared to look past their phone screen every once in a while) or arguing back and forth very unprofessional like about " I ain't the one". The cashier takes inside orders then disappears leaving customers at the pick up counter completely confused as to why 20+ minutes have passed and no one has seemed to do anything. Absolutely do not have the audacity, and I repeat HOW DARE YOU have the audacity to try to get an employees attention to inquire about your order. You just interrupted their thumb to brain text coordination and now they have to back space 5 times before they can pop attitude back at you, give you a vacant stare, or nod seemingly confirming to help with your order then continue to do nothing. The mobile order/ online order ticket dispenser is just utterly ignored, with tickets in chaos and disarray spread all over the counter and floor but not a sole has acknowledged their existence so that order you placed 35-45 minutes ago, sorry, still isn't going to be ready. All of this is in complete disregard for what happens if you actually get your order. Hot coffee is cold, cold coffee is somehow like warm. Do not at all order food. You'll be waiting an extra 20+ minutes for something out of a Stephen king novel like nightmare. Bacon, eh, semi raw works right? I wish I could say I was making this up, or hade a few choice nice words to say about the establishment. However, today upon placing a mobile order 38 minutes in advance. I got off from my shift at work drove 42 minutes towards home to stop by the Duncan thinking, it's 7am, it shouldn't be this bad with almost 40 minutes notice. Wrong. Order still not ready, 10 more minutes waiting (but was actually acknowledged this time at the pick up counter. Probably because I was the only sole in the building aside from the gas station clerk across the room). I am handed 2 coffees. Drive another 8 minutes home. One of the coffees is correct, and hot. A nice surprise on this brisk October morning. The other, cold with curdled melted whip cream. Upon further inspection, there was a second sticker on the cup underneath my online order sticker, that stated "drive through". Almost an hour of waiting and they hand me one fresh coffee and one that had been sitting there for obviously quite some time. Avoid this Dunkin Donuts like the plague. I would give it negative stars if that were a choice. read more

I get it we are in a pandemic... BUT I arrived at 730... didn't get to place My order until 736 as the second person in line. I waited 20 minutes after ordering and still did not receive my wake up wrap. I left because I was going to be late for work. I understand the drive thru can get busy but there was one person in front of me inside and it took excessively long to get their items as well. I think the call ahead also causes major issues because the team can't adequately take care of the customers in front of them because they are doing the call ahead orders or the app orders. read more

Extremely long wait time compared to other Dunkin' locations. I've been here 5+ times and my order has been messed up 3 of those times. If you HAVE to have coffee then it's not the worst but I recommend driving a bit further for better service. read more

Historically, their cream filled donuts are always barely filled. Today (8:30 am Saturday) they had no hot breakfast items. They were only serving coffee and donuts. They only had 6 types of donuts. They had no straws and no napkins. This has got to be one of the worst managed store in the franchise. read more

Worst dunkin in the state of Georgia. Workers don't care and don't know how to take orders. Line can be wrapped around building, and they will only be taking drive through orders. I do not visit this DD very much. Seems as though every time I go there something more reminds me of why I took so long to go back. Their wait time is ridiculous. I have on the go order that was put in 15 mins before I arrived at the store. Still had to wait another almost 20 mins for my coffee and food. Then they didn't even give me the full order. At that point I was so pissed off I wasn't going back in. The management really needs to step up and hire more employees at this location for the mornings. I will drive out of my way to go to the one in Lake Dow before this one ever again. read more

I've been here numerous times and the people they got working here are pretty good. I like the iced coffees, they are not watered down like other companies. Nor are they too strong to drink like another known coffee chain. Great service, and they're courteous, what a concept! Their lattes are actually really good! I recently tried a few and couldn't believe it. I have to go back and get another one because the espresso is not burnt tasting like someone else we know. Kudos to opening this new location near us. The only thing I don't like is the lot because it's also a Valero gas station. Getting out can be a bit tricky because they're on the corner. Making a left turn is not advised! So don't sit there for 10 minutes waiting for an opening, just make a right already! You can turn around in the next lot or at the next light. Geesh. read more

The specialty coffees here are decent, however, the donuts and other baked goods are subpar. I ordered a chocolate croissant, but before I did I specifically asked if they were soft. The cashier assured me that they were, however as soon as I bit into it it was hard, dry, and crunchy. I had to throw it away. My trend is to go in the mornings to get my morning coffee! Love their coffee! The problem is that there are not enough employees working in the mornings. At first I thought that maybe an employee called in and they were doing the best they could. But after several morning visits and nothing changing, I now see it has to be poor management. They will have three or four people working the drive thru but only one employee working the inside counter. The line will get 10 deep and it can take 30+ minutes to place and receive your order. Most mornings I just go somewhere else now. I can only assume others are making that choice as well which means they aren't doing the business they have the potential to do. The employees are always very respectful and productive. No one is just standing around. They just need more workers in the mornings. Hopefully the owner or manager will read this and do better. read more

Never had a bad coffee from this location. During peak times service can be super slow. Also the hours for this location is wrong. They do not open at 4:30am. I went there at 10 til 5am and there was absolutely no one there or at the attached gas station at all. So if you're way out of town, its a decent bet. read more

Should have went with my first instinct!! I stay right down the road from this DD and I've had bad experiences with them but it helps that I can stop here on my way to work. I stopped by this morning and had to wait in line for 15 minutes from the line being backed up by just four cars in front of me. I gave my order 3 times large dark roast and a swirl, no cream or sugar, and finally got to the window where I was asked if I wanted cream or sugar. I stated no, paid and pulled off. As I proceeded to go down Hwy 155 towards I-75 I took a sip of my coffee it was without cream and sugar but also without the swirl! Come on HWY 155 Locust Grove/ McDonough DD, this is how I maintain my sanity throughout the day! What's so hard about putting two separate items that should appear on a screen into a cup?! I had to stop to another DD in Morrow, Ga where there was 2x the amount of customers and my wait time was 6 minutes. If this is an individually owned business in McDonough, please take the time to talk with your employees in order for them to do better! read more
