Yesterday, I got just about the WORST cup of coffee I have EVER had. I am a huge DD fan so this was particularly disappointing to me. The customer service was great however that does little for me when I can't even stomach a single sip of my coffee. It tasted like it had been there since the day before. I kid you not when I say that it looked like mud water... with 2 pumps of swirl in it!!! How is that even possible? I had gone through the drive through so taking it back was not an option by the time I tried it. I thought it was worth giving them a second chance today. Fool me once, shame on you. Okay, I have been coming to this Dunkin Donuts since they opened. Every day I come in here, I keep expecting things to be better, yet they never get better. Every morning, it is still the poor selection of donuts. So now after a year, I have come to the conclusion that this is not a typical Dunkin Donuts, and never will be. I went in there today, as I do every Friday morning at the same time, and they're virtually had no Donuts on the shelves. I literally turned around and walked out the door. Having grown up on Dunkin Donuts, and love Dunkin Donuts, I wanted to see these guys be good and do well. Unfortunately I think it is safe to say I will never return to this Dunkin Donuts. I gave them a year to make things better and they have not. This manager obviously does not care. He does not care to keep my business or yours. I've been to this store several times. Every single time, the staff is super friendly. They seem to be understaffed and I think that maybe the management that authorizes hiring doesn't realize how understaffed they are. Even with the lack of people, the staff working does their best and is polite. I don't know how they do it because I have seen some real jerks come in. You'd think ice cream or coffee was their oxygen! Life must be pretty easy if you can expend energy getting angry at someone because they can't get your coffee or ice cream fast enough. Calm down, people. Try to be nice and compassionate! And, frankly, if you cannot wait for your ice cream/coffee while they try to fill all the orders ahead of you, drive less than a mile down the road to Wal-Mart and buy your own. Compassion...don't let it die for coffee. And...I had an excellent experience at this location this morning. I had 11 teenagers to buy donuts and drinks for. The drive-thru was fast, friendly, and helpful. I'm so grateful Niceville has a Dunkin' Donuts! I hope I never forget how lucky we are to live in a time when new businesses are coming to our area. The morning crew is useless, rude and needs to be completely replaced. Between being too stupid to get a simple order correct, they are unsanitary. When I attempted to call management to resolve the issue, they weren't interested in listening or refunding the purchase price. If I could rate it zero stars I would. My experience started with the wrong coffee then the wrong size which they decided to just pour into the larger cup and add coffee on top which makes it not taste the way it should if it had been made in an xl cup as opposed to a medium. I've gone to Dunkin Donuts three times now and only one of those times was my drink actually good. The first time, the staff were friendly and I got one of their travel cups, 2 donuts,and their sweet and salty cold brew. The drink was really good; the coffee was sweet and it had the salty whipped topping. I tried going there before work a couple days later to get another sweet and salty cold brew,but they gave me bitter, unsweetened iced coffee with salty topping. Yuck! I didn't have time to go back and I tried calling the number on the receipt,but it just rang a couple times and gave me a dial up noise. Not to mention, Monique in the drive-thru was rude and unhelpful. I tried again the next day(had to go inside because the drive-thru was broken) and ordered a small vanilla iced coffee because I figured there would be less chance of that getting messed up. Wrong! What I got was more cream and sugar than coffee and it was undrinkable. I didn't have time to go back in and have them remake it because I was on the way to work and already put behind because their drive-thru was broken. I'm honestly unsure if I even want to go back and try again. I was so excited to have a decent coffee place near me,but I may just wait for Starbucks to open. *Update: this place is still pretty awful. This is my initial visit to this recently opened establishment so I'll keep it easy. Upfront, the staff and shift manager need retraining. Tonight, I went in to purchase 3 quarts of ice cream. Unfortunately, there was slim pickings for premade quarts, so I needed to order 2 x quart sized containers. It took the team exactly 25 minutes to pack two quart sized containers and a double scoop cone. The containers were so frozen that the ice cream was literally iced. Meanwhile, the shift manager would keep asking customers for their orders and not remembering anything after the second request. The staff appeared over burdened, lacked communication and still working their processes which added to the frustration. I intend on giving these guys another two visits during the next two weeks to monitor improvements. Otherwise, I may resort to driving to Fort Walton to receive better service and ice cream. Lastly, I requested for a 'Coke Float' specialty drink at which non of the employees or shift manager know. The shift manager stated, "Ohh, we don't serve Coke Floats.." I was surprised and explained that every other Baskin Robbins and ice cream parlor served floats and he just gave me a blank stare.. Unbelievable! Recommend Staff welcome all customers that enter their doors. Communicate with eachother and the customer. Know their specialty drinks- especially floats. Lastly, don't be passing off customers to different servers when your arm gets tired of scooping ice cream. This is by far the worst business in Niceville. If who ever owns this franchise doesn't do something pretty soon I don't expect this business to survive. One morning a customer stopped for donuts on the way to work. The cashier apologized that there were no donuts as the person who makes the donuts didn't show up for work and no one else was trained to make the donuts. The staff on the Baskin Robbins side never seem to be trained. Tonight we went for ice cream. I ordered a hot fudge Sunday. I don't know why I continue to hope this establishment has gotten better and try to give them my business. The coffee has a weird taste 60-75% of the time. I attempted to get a coffee yesterday through the drive thru after waiting 15 mins in line (only two cars ahead of me). When it was my turn, the worker said they needed a minute. Okay, no problem. He continued to say "We need another minute." By this time, I've already waited through "we need another minute" (which were close to 3-5 mins each time) to place my order When I realized they weren't going to take my order, I left. I went in last night for ice cream and walked out because it was so dirty!! It just opened and it's dirty? All the tables were dirty, floors were sticky and dirty and the glass display was so dirty you couldn't see the ice cream!! I never thought to review a fast food place and won't make a habit of it, but our experience here was so bad it was funny. Basically, we walked in and thought we were in a night club with the music turned up so loud we couldn't talk to each other and even the employees were yelling at each other to be heard. Wow. The service is horrible! We went in on a Friday night at around 6 and they were out of Waffle Cones and had been for a half hour. Instead of putting a sign up so people could re-choose their order, they waited until it was their time. Which means it took longer because then they had to switch ideas. I ordered a banana split and he took ages and then cut the banana pieces so big, they were too big for my mouth! When I made a comment to the manager saying, "It would have been nice to know that you were out of waffle cones", her reply was, "Well, now you do." I haven't been back and refuse to go back until I quit hearing complaints from friends about the service. Every single time I go through the drive through, the staff makes my day!! They are all so full of energy, kindness, quirkiness, humor, and honestly, MY day gets brighter just by interacting with the staff. They all have personalities of their own, but they ALL stay professional. Even if the coffee wasn't on point, (which it always ends up being PERFECTION) their personalities would be enough of a pick-me-up to last the day. Guys, they just opened, too. Dont expect them to be super fast yet. Skill is important, and these employees have HEAPS of skill. Speed comes with time. Quality over Quantity. Just sayin'. read more

They have 1 guy there who knows what he is doing with drinks, the rest of them... I use to go about every day... it took them about a week to get the vanilla chai latte tea right... and the guy would always fixit when they got it wrong. A pain the in the butt because that day I still didn't have my drink but at least he tried and I didn't waste my money and he would make it for free the next day. They finally got to a point where they would get it right about 70% of the time ( I get gift cards from my family for DD that's why I keep going back since I loved my one up North). I always order to go... The past two days its back to not knowing what I will get. Yesterday it was a hot chocolate ?!? and today it was some coffee !?! I need to start tasting it right there, but its so hot that I can't drink it right away... so I wait until I get to work and get the disappointment. I am over the $3 every day wasted. ZERO STARS! We have tried Three times to enjoy this store. First time we left because service was 30 min without being able to order because of chaos! Second time 20 min to order and had to wait almost 25 minutes for our order in which I finally had to ask for the items and they hadn't even started making them yet. When we finally got our order, the smoothies were wrong. Tonight wanted to go for sundaes and they were out of bananas AND hot fudge! This place is atrocious. The drive thru was closed. It was dirty. The workers had no interest in helping customers. Baskin Robbins didn't have the flavor of the month or any dipped cones. The lady in front of us was getting a refund immediately after her order for some reason. A guy approached the counter while we were there with the statement "there's a bunch of hair in my do nut." The employees here are super nice and I enjoy the coffee and donuts. Unfortunately, we have had problems with the drive thru. Most of the issues seem to stem from problems communicating with the customers. On my most recent visit I sat in the drive thru in front of the speaker for 6 minutes before asking, "is anyone there?" Immediately I received a frustrated reply, "it'll be just a minute!" Which was fine, I was glad to wait, but I should have been asked to hang on at the beginning of my visit- not after I had started to wonder if I'd been forgotten about. read more

I love Dunkin' Donuts, but so far I've been very disappointed with this location. I've been looking forward to have a Dunkin near by. I've been to this location five times and they have made my coffee wrong 4 out of 5 times. One of the times I went the drive thru was closed so I went inside it wasn't busy at all( only one other person I line) and three people working, but still waited 15 minutes to get my coffee and it had more cream than actual coffee. I have to add the girl who rang me out was just standing there while I was waiting, one kid scooping ice cream and the other girl standing there as well. I understand they are new and learning, but it's frustrating when you buy a coffee and have it throw it out. From now on I will stick to going to the Fort Walton beach location where they know how to make coffee. Hopefully I can come back in a few months when the employees are more trained. read more

Today at 10:30 they had more empty shelves than ones with a doughnut. I counted less than dozen doughnuts and of course the one type I wanted was out. This really did not matter since there was no one at the doughnut counter to help you. This is my usual experience since they have opened here in Niceville. I have 3 stories to tell for this location. Once we got in line and they said can you pls wait for a moment. We waited maybe 4-5 minuets nothing there. My husband called them out. Are you still there???? Yes, can you pls wait a little longer? Maybe we waited 2 more minuets and then we left. They are unreal! Second time we went to there we asked for coffee and regular glazed donuts. Do you know what their answer was. They ran out off both. Can you believe that? Coffee and donut place doesn't have those 2 items!!! We laughed so hard. The worst one happened yesterday. I asked for a half dozen regular glazed donuts. I paid from drive thru and opened the box gave one to my little one. She said it is different and i looked at them and she was right. I was given 6 of sour dough donuts which I didn't ask at all.
