Charging at the adjacent Tesla Supercharger, my wife and I were looking for a quick breakfast sandwich and strolled over. We oddly found the main double doors locked but seeing people inside continued around to the far side to find an open door. The place is newish and modern looking. I noticed wireless charging spots on one large table as well as a bank of USB ports on another high top table along the windows. Over by the main (locked) doors were a pair of ordering stations if you want to minimize your human interaction. We proceeded to the cash register where we were warmly greeted. The staff here seemed friendly and helpful but were busy keeping the drive thru lane moving which by now had a line of cars halfway around the building. We both just wanted an egg on English muffin sandwich but sadly they had run out of muffins offering us a bagel or croissant instead. I tend to avoid messy, flaky croissants and opted for a bagel but then got an everything one as I can't resist it. We were thoroughly disappointed with our breakfast. The bagel was stale and burnt black basically inedible. We inquired as to the freshness of the bagels and they offered up a replacement croissant. At this point our car was charged and ready but we waited and grabbed these to go. I wished they would have just not offered up knowingly stale bagels and avoided this whole matter. For what it is worth, my wife's coffee was great. Moral of this visit is stick with a place's strength. read more

Restaurant was understaffed and out of most items. The latte machine wasn't working, they had no muffins, they had limited bagels when we arrived and by the time our order was completed they were completely out of bagels.The staff that was working was very short tempered and clearly overwhelmed. There was no cashier, you had to order through a console so there was no way to know that they were out of most of the items that we were ordering. When trying to get replacements I had to ask repeatedly. Save yourself a headache and go next-door to Sheetz. Editing this to add watch out for the coffee. Ordered large oatmilk latte and received a cup with half oatmilk and half foam, I was considering to let it go but I paid $6, so I turned around and asked for more milk and was told by who I assume is the manager, that this is how lattes are made- I think not! a little foam sure, but half a cup?? it's not like I've only been drinking lattes since yesterday! I was told to pull forward and wait for another drink to be made. What was brought out about 5 minutes later ended up being luke warm mud. I would give no stars if I could. I was genuinely excited to see construction on this when it started. Finally a coffee stop other than Sheetz. Well that's where my excitement ended because after visiting for the third time and receiving identical treatment I will not be returning. It seems as if this Dunkin is employed by personal that do everything in their power to simplify their jobs. My wife ordered tea hot that's on the menu board (forgot specifics flavor brand etc.) the lady taking the order basically argued that it was not something they served. She then choose another flavored beverage this time discontinued. Ended up with an iced tea I could have purchased for half the price right next door. Then a week later which is today and reason behind the review. I pulled up after work to order an Iced Americano. This is basically ice/espresso/water. I totally understand that. Instead I see that the screen states "Iced Coffee" I then correct her letting her know it was an americano. She then rather rudely laughing begins to tell me that "you know americano is just hot water and espresso right? The ice is gonna melt" If this is the case than why offer it? Starbucks makes Iced Americanos everyday all day with unmelted ice. As do so many other coffee shops. I feel as if she was trying to make it easy on herself and just pour the iced coffee and call it a day. I left and will not return. Poor management. Went there at 8:30 am 1/31/24 and ordered 6 assorted and a sandwich. Four of the donuts were stale and two actually had mold on them. The staff implied they could have been "sprinkles". It's been my experience in Petersburg, you never know what you're going to get. read more

I have actually had okay customer service unlike others giving reviews (hence the one star) but it is a toss up if they will have food. I have went several times and the kitchen has been done. The one time I got food, the egg was not done. Today went and the credit card machine was done so they were only taking cash but not only cash, it also has to be exact change. Sat in the drive thru for 15 minutes to find this out. It seems like it is always something with this location. It is unfortunate bc there are not a lot of good coffee locations in Petersburg. As a new business, they're getting better. Donuts no longer taste like oil was not hot enough. The last time I stopped by the music was so loud that the woman waiting on me had to resort to sign language when I asked a question. Combine the volume of the music, with the echo from tile walls and conversations by other customers, it was the most uncomfortable fast food experience I've had in a very long time. I couldn't wait to pay for my donuts and escape. My deepest sympathies for employees who must endure this for hours at a time. Also, it is very frustrating to choose a donut flavor based on the labeling provided only to be told that the label is not correct; bavarian cream versus vanilla cream for example. I came by this morning to order doughnuts and coffee for my office. I went to the counter and was told by an employee that I had to use the kiosk to place my order. I walked to the counter bc there was already a man struggling at the kiosk, asking for help. I had a huge order and didn't want to order doughnut by doughnut so I just left and I don't plan on coming back. My perception is that employees are rude and lazy and would rather me check my self out than them have to do their job... they were literally all just standing around talking. This is unacceptable. I don't understand how you can be a chain and be this bad. The drive thru line moves about ten mins per car. These "baristas" added ice to my nitro brew. When you order extra ice for a iced latte you get less ice. The donuts never taste fresh, the service is poor. It's just all around bad. They probably only stay in business because all the tired hospital staff across the street need caffeine to survive and there isn't a Starbucks nearby. read more

They are super slow I asked for a lemon doughnut I was charged for a cup of ice water that Starbucks would actually give for free. When I pulled off I was so excited to have my lemon doughnut finally! However I quickly realized I was given a custard doughnut not lemon. After being ignored by 3 employees for a considerable amount of time (no other customers in the store) someone finally decided to wait on me. There were 6 Boston cream doughnuts and said I will take all of them. The clerk told me she couldn't sell all of them to me because it was not fair to other people who might want them so I could only buy 2. REALLY? 6 doughnuts was an unreasonable request? This Dunkin Is the absolute worst in my entire life of going to any Dunkin' in the world. Can't get right. Can't do right. Foul mouth employee. Always getting orders wrong. Never have Chocolate Cake donut and don't wanna make it when you order cause they lazy when all they gotta do is add the chocolate frosting to a glazed chocolate donut... to much like right, huh?! I order a XL Original Blend with 5 mocha shots, creams, and sugars. Every time they get the order wrong. No Mocha shots just straight coffee and cream no sugar even. This happens every time I go... EVERY TIME. They tell me to stir it... I do.. in the drive thru in front of they face no chocolate sauce at the bottom because they didn't add any or they run out and lack the integrity to say so.
