Starting off this wacky adventure. I ordered on Christmas Day because this was one of the only Dunkin's that said they were open on the app. I waited a bit like normal, and after I got there, I noticed the door was locked. One of the workers inside eventually came over to the door, saying they were closed. I went in because I had an order and I had already been charged, and they were still able to get me part of my order (4 Hot Chocolates). While standing there and waiting for me drinks though, it charged my card a second time, and the worker was unable to void it. I had to go back the next day to get it fixed. (It did end up getting fixed). The hot chocolates that I had received were very watered down, unlike the hot chocolates at the Kennedy Drive Dunkin, which were much more fluffy, and used milk. The prices at this store were also much higher than the Kennedy Drive location. The hot chocolates were more expensive, with a XL being $4.09 instead of $3.99, and the loaded hashbrowns being $6.29 instead of the $4.99 like at the other location. The inside of the store was very nice. It was clean, and there was a nice Christmas tree in the corner. This location is also very big, with the interior being almost double the size of the Kennedy Drive location. read more

Horrible. Been coming here every once in a while, and when I'm hard up, and I still regret it. Never get a coffee order right, forget flavoring when ordered. Either more or no sweetener than what you ordered. Coffee is always week tasting. I avoid this dunkin. Their iced tea tastes like mold or something. It is different from any other dunkins iced tea and so gross. I wonder if their ice machine is dirty. Maybe other stronger flavored drinks you wouldn't notice it, but with plain unsweetened black tea it's like drinking a bucket of mildew. read more

I am thoroughly disappointed with whoever runs this location. Several times I've come here, there has only been one singular worker in the whole building, covering the drive thru AND the restaurant. This often times means long wait times or not being able to order everything I want. (Note: The employees work so so so hard, and deserve so much more, they cannot even accept tips, which they absolutely deserve). The microphone to order has been out of service on and off for what feels like years. Have never had good service here is a perfect example. I ordered a coffee the same way I do at every Dunkin when I received my coffee I had said that it looked a little dark I was told it was made the way that I asked for it if I wanted it lighter I should ask for more cream. Went there twice while camping and they don't listen to the order and get upset when you ask for them to fix the problem. This Dunkin is literally the WORSE in Putnam, CT. My mother and I had the worse experience ever. It's like they hire anybody. My mom and I went to get some food and coffee for our trip. We went to the window to pay, and this white women with braids and a shaved head with some hair on it, gave us no attention as customers, just dry talk and attitude. We payed and waited. I saw another worker making the food and she dropped the food and picked it up with the gloves. She did not change her gloves, and continued to touch other food. I told the rude women to tell her to change her gloves, and the rude women gave me attitude and told the women to change her gloves. She did the, and then the rude women started to help the women make food with no gloves on. Then she puts gloves on 3 minutes after. I addressed her and told her why didn't you put on gloves before making other peoples food. This thug acted like she was going to fight me and giving me all this attitude. With Covid-19 going around, and her not wearing gloves this was is beyond nasty. I'm never going to this particular Dunkin again. read more

Let me start of by saying "BOOOOOO"... Quinn Andersen is the only employee there who vaguely understands the concept of customer service. To be fair, he personifies professionalism and consistency. I can say with no bias or allegiance to any one worker, he is head and shoulders above every single other worker. Please promote this young man or bestow the responsibility of perhaps spreading his attitude/work ethic. If anyone of importance or authority views this please take action. Many of your employees should be stripped of their job title...hell some of them should be tarred, feathered, and ran out of town for their attitude. I'll return when these conditions have been met - until then I will personally dissuade as many people as I can from patronizing this dunkin. Went here just about every day only to be treated as if I didn't deserve common courtesy and the basic manners every fast food/customer service employee should ALREADY HAVE. This is the worst Dunkin Donuts in Northeastern CT. The service is horrible. Not only do they have punk kids working there in the afternoon who snarl at you, they are also one of the slowest DD I've ever been to! If you're looking for a quick trip through the drive through, give yourself an extra ten minuets or so because there is nothing quick about it. The donuts are fresh, yes, and the seating area (which is large) is clean but I would rather get my coffee elsewhere because the staff are so rude. read more

I find that this Dunkies is about average for the several I've been to. Since they remodeled it's a lot more open and nicer looking. (It used to have a TINY counter.) When I'm headed in this direction (toward Woodstock and beyond), I know I'll stop as I know I'll get good service and food. They rarely offer to give your receipt. Today I thought the amount was off (because I always get the same thing) so I specifically asked for the receipt before the girl threw it away and I was charged for an extra coffee. I was refunded for it but so many times I've gone they toss the receipt before I could even ask for it. I know at other locations they always ask before they toss it. I am one that always likes to check it. Also in the time I was waiting for my order I saw a girl in the back frosting donuts.. she had a glove on the hand she was holding the knife with but no glove on the donut she was holding. I worked here before and then at a different Dunkin after. At the second Dunkin, I got actual training. Proper and strict training, where the manager made sure that everything was made correctly so as not to disappoint the customers. This Dunkin on Woodstock Ave does not provide real training for their workers. Resulting in horrible tasting coffee, burnt and wrongly made food, emotional workers that can't handle a customers distress when they receive the wrong order or an incorrectly made order. The manager when I was there asked her staff to write reviews for that Dunkin to make it appear like it's good enough. Everyone I know that has come to this Dunkin would rather travel to one further away to receive a tasteful and well made meal and:or drink. They don't throw away their donuts at the end of the day, rather they reuse them for the next day. I empathized with the customers that would come in and have to deal with stale and gross donuts because I had no control over how my manager would handle things. I do not recommend this Dunkin to anyone, customers or anyone looking for a job. They're a disgrace to the culinary industry even if it's just fast food. I go to this location everyday. The girls and few men who work there are wonderful. They are always kind and do their best to make sure my order is correct. Alot of the workers are here everyday. However the atmosphere of the place is completely different depending on which manager is there. I like best when the crew is smiling and happy. They know many of their customers by name and what they order and have their orders ready for them. They are great! Keep up the great work!! read more
