*Drive-Thru Review Only* I stopped here because its close to my babies school & I wanted some coffee before I picked her up! I got French Vanilla Iced Coffee & a Wake Up Wrap! It was sooo delicious. The lady over the speaker was so patient with me because I could no decide on what I wanted. But I'm glad I got the wrap, it was hot, the bread was soft & flaky.. I loved it. Yelp gave me a free donut for visiting & so I got a chocolate covered sprinkled one for my daughter, she will be excited to have this treat after school! If you're looking for a morning pick me up, don't bother coming here. You'll wait in the drive through for what feels like forever, then when you get to the window they act like they didn't even know you were waiting there. Not only that, but I consistently have to wait to get every piece of my order, even if I'm the only person in the drive through. To top it off, your coffee will be different every time-- cold, watery, burnt, or under filled, you never know what your pick will be that day! I'm done giving this place a chance to redeem itself. The last 2 times I have been here have been a mess. Last week I went inside because the line was long and the person inside had no organization with the noble orders and had to look into 10 different bags before they just made me a fresh one. I'm assuming they couldn't find the order because there were no tickets on any bags. Today I again made another mobile order and it took awhile to get someone on the drive thru which was weird because there was only one customer inside and no one in the drive thru. I final get my drink and get to work only to realize they have me someone else food order. Putting the ticket on the bags after each order is made would fix this. read more

This is the second time I have come thru recently and had to turn right back around. The bacon was left off my sandwich again. Also I said something last I got a dozen assorted donuts with zero assortment. Today there was 5 munchkins different and the other 20 were all powdered sugar. That's not what I would consider an assortment but I don't like to come thru and have to say every single donut. Also ordered today has browns which was a waste there is 4 in the bag. We decided to try the new Dunkin Donuts in Raytown this morning. I like Dunkin Donuts. If you're ever up east, there's one on every corner in NYC. Now we have one in Raytown. This is a free standing Dunkin Donuts. I forgot what it used to be. It was highly busy when we stopped, but the line move fast. It's viewable from 3650 highway and from the Sutherland's where it sits to itself. The line in the front went quick. I noticved their donuts aren't in the front in a glass display case, but they are behind the counter on a raised display. At first I didn't see them. It might make it hard to see what they have, but the display was well lit. I ordered a pumpkin muffin and caramel coolata.The counter server at first thought I meant pumpkin donut, which I'm sure is just as good. I got my pumpkin muffin (with struesal topping, yummy), and waited for my caramel coolata. The coolata is a sweet frozen coffee beverage that I always enjoy. Once it was served, I chose not to eat in the dining area, but to bring it home. It;s a nice dining area, clean. They sell the Dunkin Donuts k-cups. That's good to know, since we have a Keurig. I found service hurried, but cheerful. I like this Dunkin Donuts. read more

These last 2 times I've gone to this location at early hours they answer quickly. But the coffee tastes off. Not just wrong but off. I went to work both mornings and threw up the coffee I drank. I would love to give a 5-star review but this location struggles with keeping items stocked. Just don't show up with your heart set on something because it's likely they won't have it. The only reason I frequent this Dunkin' is because of location. There are not too many Dunkin' locations in this city; I'm hoping that will change. I've lived multiple other places and they are much closer in proximity and many more to visit, not in KC. So, that limits your options to just switch locations unless you're ready to take a drive. I go to this place every morning because it's by my home. They were never great, always a little slow, but at least they never messed up my coffee. However, since the renovations, half the time when I order a latte they don't put coffee in it it will just be hot milk with whipped cream. They mess up my order constantly. I am consistently disappointed with this Dunkin, yet I keep giving it more chances. I wish they would just get their shit together. If they aren't out of something you want, then there is something wrong or missing in your order. No one answers the phone when you try to contact them to resolve something quickly. Signature lattes are often without "signature" (whip/toppings/etc) with flat lids; the mini bagel bites have little to no cream cheese, and if they do it looks curdled like it was cooked too long/hot. There was one time their espresso machine was down & so I ordered an iced Chai and they said they couldn't put the syrup in with milk & stir bc the machine was down...I didn't ask for it with espresso? LOL. I'm not sure if it's laziness, incompetence, or both...but I'm often left with the feeling that I'd do a better job making my own food here than whoever is doing it at this location. There needs to be a serious step up in training and customer service. Whenever we ask for what we pay for to be redone correctly, there is always attitude and no apology. Ordered through doordash and when i got my food i was PISSED. Raw bacon and burnt bagel. Again RAW bacon BURNT bagel. How? My donut was not the right flavor and was not good. Im pregnant and raw food is certainly dangerous to anyone including an unborn child. Cross contamination like crazy. Absolutely crazy. It took about five minutes for someone to answer AFTER pulling up to the intercom. Then we had to wait about 10 minutes to get our latte. 10 minutes. For a latte. There was no line in-store, and maybe 1-2 people behind us. It was supposed to be a medium latte - she (our red haired barista - didn't catch a name) originally gave us a small. Then instead of remaking it, she poured it into a medium cup and topped it off with regular coffee, which didn't taste very good. Poor management/ownership. Apparently they are only able to take cash in the drive-thru currently. That's fine, stuff happens. But they don't have that noted anywhere until the speaker? You will wait in line for 10 minutes only to discover that you can't order if you don't have cash, then you are trapped in the drive-thru! This is terrible customer service. To be honest when getting donuts I'd usually go for Lamar's. However I was getting donuts for co workers and our shift started at 6 am before Lamar's opened. Luckily Dunkin is open 24/7 and after this visit I will definitely go back. I went through the drive through and the gentleman working it was very friendly. Went to a Chiefs football game this last weekend and after it was over, I stopped here to grab some coffee for the long drive home! I waited at the speaker for 5 or so minutes with no answer (I even spoke into it to make sure someone knew I was there), then eventually just drove to the window because no one was in the drive thru in front of me, sat there for a while too and NO ONE came. I downloaded the Dunkin' Donuts app because Im a coffee drinker and its close to my house but its clear that they are a donut shop first and a coffee place second which is fine. I am not a fan of the coffee but since I downloaded the app and had to load money on the card to use the On-The-Go ordering option...I kept going until I spent the entire amount. W was there 10/19/18 and was very impressed with the young lady working there. She went out of her way to help a young man who's truck stalled in the drive thru, going so far as to grab her own jumper box from her trunk to see if that would help. Afterward she returned inside, washed up and was right there to take our order and recommend items. She was helpful, happy, and knew her stuff. I wish I'd caught her name because that lady deserves kudos. Above and beyond and understanding too. Lots of ya good learn a lesson from her attitude and outlook on life and work. I stopped in for some iced green tea and to get some work done today and was disappointed. The men's bathroom was dirty. It took a few minutes for an employee to recognize that I was in the building and trying to order. There were no other customers. The employees all seemed to be in the back somewhere. When I ordered the iced green tea I wanted, they were out of it, so the lady offered the iced black tea instead. I'm not the biggest black tea fan but this was terrible tea. My first time coming here. Didn't know the drive through is open 24 hours. There are no customers here. I received my order fast. The girl at the register seem like I irritated her. I placed a drink order but said it wrong because the writing was small and I couldn't see it very well. She corrected me with an attitude and made a noise like when someone gets on your nerves and take a deep breath then let it out like ugh. I said sorry I read that wrong I cant see that well. I pulled up to the window made the transaction, said thank you when I got my card back, she didn't say anything. Just closed the window and walked off. I didn't get a Receipt or anything. I don't know about these young people working these jobs. They are rude and full of attitude but I still try to be nice even when people are rude to me. I've lived in Raytown since July and have been able to successfully go to this Dunkin location on a few different occasions and it really has remained very low service. I typically have stopped through there on Sunday mornings before church (never had a decent iced coffee ever made to standard) and things never seem to look up. Coming from the Northland location there's a big difference at this Raytown location. Hope it gets better and with some positive leadership. read more
