That's my standard test for any burger joint. Sometimes I'll get fries or tots, but I don't really care for either generally. Today I got a big old Smashburger. The patties were thin crispy and more than ample. Great flavor and sear on the meat. Friendly gal at the front register who allowed me to take my time as I was unfamiliar with the menu. She was very kind. The floor is a little dirty, and it smells kind of funky, which is appropriate for a good burger joint. I will be back. I was told they were out of chocolate ice cream -- which is ridiculous for a place that specializes in ice cream. When I got to the window to pay, I saw another employee clearly serving chocolate ice cream to someone else. When I pointed this out, the girl at the window suddenly stopped responding and acted like she didn't understand English -- except to tell me how much I owed. Blatantly lying to a customer and then pretending not to understand when called out is unacceptable. I won't be back. I don't support businesses that lie to customers and play games when confronted.
