Went to store on Keagy Rd. Salem Va. it was approximately 7:30. They didn't have much of selection, which I thought that would be the case. Asked gentleman working if he could work with me on price. I figured would be throwing away. Not only was he not interested in speaking to me but told me would have to do up charge because in the shape of a heart. It was not Valentines Day. They were going to trash the few they had left. Would have thought better to get rid of by working with me instead of trashing. read more

This is the second time I've ordered from this location via Doordash and I won't be ordering from here again. They were out of all of my online selections. I tried canceling the order, only to be told that they had already made selections FOR me because I didn't respond to my Dasher which wasn't true. Then, when I received the order, nothing was sealed, including the coffee. Drinks should ALWAYS be sealed. Unacceptable experience and I am not only not buying from this location again, I am totally changing from DoorDash to another delivery service. I love Dunkin' Donuts coffee and some of their sandwiches and donuts but this location needs help. The cafe area is nice, offers wifi so you can work and is reasonably quiet. The drive through is fast too. But I have two problems. The first is location, you have to drive through the most bizarre parking lot just to get in and out of the place. The second is the quality of the food. The last time I bought donuts they were dry or stale. read more

The store was a lot cleaner than the location in Salem that we stopped at yesterday. It was decorated nicely. They weren't slow. I'd recommend this place. read more

On a beautiful Saturday morning, my wife and I stopped to get some donuts for a quick trip to North Carolina. We had to use the drive thru because their lobby was still closed due to the pandemic. With only one other car ahead of us we thought this wouldn't be a problem. That was our first mistake. We waited for several minutes before we were given our order of 1/2 dozen donuts. Then waited a few more minutes when the unpleasant cashier handed us our order and our change. Foolishly, we drove away without checking our order. Halfway down the road we opened the box. Neither of us were surprised to find that yet again, the order was incorrect. Just how hard is it to put 6 donuts in a box? Does it really require a degree in rocket science? We did not return to the restaurant to make an exchange for the correct order as there were now at least five cars in line, all waiting for their incorrect orders as well. Instead, we called (mistake #3) and we spoke with Megan, the alleged assistant store manager. I in formed her of their oversight and asked how a simple order could possibly get so incorrect. In a very snotty tone that only a surly teenager can muster, she told me that she didn't have time to talk to me. When I inquired as to her manager's name she told me that she IS the assistant manager for the day and the real manager, Susie, would be in on Tuesday. Wow. Wrong orders, mediocre products, and crappy customer service. This is what $15 an hour the proposed minimum wage is going to get us? If you like rolling the dice, this place is for you. Best of luck. It is my most sincere hope the Miss Megan will someday (soon) learn the value of taking pride in her job, no matter where it might be. But until that happy day occurs, my guess is that this Dunkin Donuts list of unhappy customers will grow at an exponential pace. read more

Horrible service. Didn't get what I ordered, which was a vanilla Kreme filled. Posted a picture of the barely filled donut. Staff on phones and obviously had better places to be. Bathrooms decorated in some Hawaiian luou theme that had a cup taped to the sink. Wondering how many kids tried to drink from that thing and how they wipe the sink clean with decorations taped to it. As always, a good experience. Recommended. If you're a visitor to the States and don't know where else to go to get some chain-based pastries, try Dunkin Donut's or Krispy Kreme. Yes, they're for those with a need for the dangerous sugar fix. We some exceptions in different locales, it's hard to find fresh pastries. I'm a fairly regular customer, mostly for coffee. I've never had an issue before. Last weekend I wasn't feeling so hot and was craving hot chocolate. I am snobby about my hot chocolate and rarely order it when out (why when I can make it at home with cream). I wasn't expecting anything special (it comes out of a machine). I initially ordered a medium mint chocolate but after a minute of fiddling with the machine I was informed that only regular was available. Totally fine! He brought it to me, apologized for the wait and told me he upgraded me to a large. Awesome! The gesture was appreciated even though it wasn't needed. But anyway, that hot chocolate was GOOD. And paired well with the cake doughnut I got. I'm certain that they make it with water but they put in a lot of the mix. Quick, friendly, convenient location and tasty. You can't go wrong. read more

I am from Massachusetts and there is a dunkin donuts on every corner. There are two in Roanoke. The one on franklin rd is okay, however the one on Keagy road (the one im reviewing) is closer so my gf and i used to go there on a regular basis. Every single time they got her order wrong. This has happened literally more than 20 times. The last time it happened, i told her that we would never go to that dunkin donuts again for anything, and we still havent. Worst Dunkin Donuts branch ever. We went to this branch 3x and each time we went, the selections were always limited to only 3-4 flavors. I love the coffee. The breakfast sandwiches and donuts are ok, if a bit pricey. But, sometimes the courtesy of the waitstaff is lacking.

I cannot understand how in the time this store has been open the managers and franchise owners have not been able to overcome all the issues this location has. The selection of doughnuts and bagels are lacking. The texture of the doughnuts is extremely off-putting. They are more bread-like than the soft, airy, sweetness you expect from a fresh doughnut. Even if I am the only customer in the store my drinks are almost always made incorrectly. I do not understand how it happens but it does. The service is spotty and for a coffee you can expect to wait 15-20 minutes inside and even longer in the drive-thru. I hope they can fix this place because it's in a prime location. read more

So rude, the guy working at the window didn't even look at me, handed me my sandwich with an abrupt "here." and shut the window, forgetting my coffee and donut still sitting on the counter that he hadn't even remembered to charge me for. OK, I'm in mourning...I am a "doughnutaholic", especially the Coffee Roll...DD on Franklin Rd was the only DD in the area to make their own doughnuts. They were delicious, soft and usually fresh. I noticed last week the doughnuts had taken on the (lack) quality of those other stores that merely heat a frozen and shipped product.
