I'm a loyal Dunkin' fan and stop by every day for my usual. Today, I happened to be traveling to Sanford to pick up a great find from Facebook Marketplace and decided to stop at the Dunkin' on S Horner Blvd. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. Although the drive-thru line was long, it moved quickly, so I was hopeful. When I got to the speaker, I politely ordered my usual drink with a modification of light ice, as I always do. But this time, I was told by a male worker that they wouldn't fill up my drink if I requested light ice. I was surprised because as a barista myself, I've never heard of this. I would've understood if this was a bar where they can't add more alcohol just because you said "light ice" but literally it's just a refresher. Not to mention, I've been to countless Dunkins all over the country, and I've never heard of this policy before, the usually accept my light ice request (which is a button on their register btw) and fill my drink up with more liquid. It seemed like the male worker was being coached by another employee over the headset, and he just repeated what he was told. I get that every location might have its own rules, but this just wasn't the friendly service or experience I'm used to. Interestingly, after this stop, I drove another 30 minutes to a different Dunkin' where they had no problem accommodating my usual light ice request. This really highlighted how off this particular location's service felt. Seems corny that they would rather prepare a whole drink that I never received than to fill the drink up with partially more fluid. Based off the reviews seems like a lot of customers shared similar experiences with me, what a unique way to run a business. read more

I've never been to Dunkin' at this location before but I will NOT be coming back. If you want good customer service then you'll want to go somewhere else. Never got any response or hello from the ladies working. Yes, I know it is early but just because your day isn't going good doesn't mean you need to make everyone's day worse. After no communication- the worker yelled at us saying "you should have stayed at the first window" then slammed the door on us, no sign said to stay or nothing was said to us so how could we have known?? read more

Walked into an empty shop, an employee was out in the lobby moving inventory around the shelves. Zero acknowledgment and then walked to behind the counter but did not appear at the counter but instead we heard her talking to someone else,"Jasmine" in the back of the store. Then we heard them talking about someone getting married and just talking about their personal business. Still, no acknowledgment that there are customers waiting at the counter to purchase coffees and donuts. After a couple of minutes we hear the person who was originally in the lobby area say, "Jasmine, can you get those people at the counter." Jasmine says, "What?" So I leaned over the counter and said, "There are customers out here." To which the first person says, "Just a minute". Jasmine comes to the counter and never looks up or acknowledges us. My husband engages first,"Hi Jasmine, how are you today?" She replies, "I'm good". Never looks up and says, "What would you like?" At this point, I'm finished with trying to get anything from these people. I responded, "I'd like to leave." So we left. Will never step foot back in that store again. read more

My boyfriend and I were in line (there was only two cars in front of us) for 20 minutes before we even got to order. After we ordered we got to the window, waited another 10-15 minutes to get what we ordered while the workers argued and were upset about having to do their job. I get it, I've worked in food, but that is no excuse for taking 30 minutes to take an order and make two drinks. They were not busy at all. Definitely would not recommend going here. Go to the one in tramway or go to Starbucks. They may be packed all the time but you'll at least get better service. read more

I got a egg & cheese sandwich on a English muffin and it was terrible, tasted strange and could tell it was just heated in a microwave. Although my iced coffee was good. The donuts are good if you go in the morning but later in the day they taste stale. Maybe they only cook them in the mornings and they go stale throughout the day. read more

This place NEVER disappoints. I come here at least 3 times a week and have never had a bad experience. They are very nice and have actual knowledge of what's going in your drink. Most of the drinks I get are seasonal (coconut caramel iced coffee, butter pecan iced coffee) so they always help me find another drink. The drinks are always bursting with flavor and never have to much ice in them. The one time I didn't like an iced coffee they let me get another. I love these people!!! I've never had a bad experience. The most I've ever paid for a coffee is $4 for a large frozen coffee (frappe). Most I've paid for an iced coffee is $2.77 for a large. I'm going with 1-star for the piss poor service received today. If it were not for my 4yr old wanting a donut to celebrate his birthday I would have totally driven off! Whoever the girl was that took our order needs to find a new job!!!! I'm sorry that you hate your job so much that you have zero customer service skills! So....I was in with my kids the last week or so ago and we got to listen to "Act Up" by City girls with all the fowl language that went with it. I came in today again with my kids and they were playing Cardi B uncut version with lots of inappropriate language. I said something to the Supervisor, who's name was India. She seemed totally into the music and didn't care much that it was not appropriate to where she is working. However, she picked up I was not happy and reluctantly change the music with lots of attitude. I normally do not complain about employees but someone needs to educate her on how to Supervise a shop that families attend and on customer service. The location is hard to turn into and get out. The evening crew is non attentive and charges you for a free donut that is not fresh that you have done a survey on. After calling the manager who says she has added it back on your gift card and turns your balance to a negative and the day shift manager can't correct it(*A HOT MESS). Calling DD corporate or even emailing them is a joke because no one answers the phone or replies to your emails after leaving them details with your return phone number and email address. Perhaps I was too generous in my first review. Since they've opened, I've been back multiple times and they've consistently gotten something wrong. Either they give me the wrong tea, or try to persuade me to change the bread of the sandwich because what I want is still frozen, or just today I was told they won't have some advertised menu items for 2 more days. Then why advertise them?!?! And last, the generous (and appreciated) discounts offered to police and military are no longer offered any day of the week. Who does that? I usually do not stop in Dunkin' Donuts, Now, I know why! I was very disappointed in the The Fire Roasted Veggie Bowl. Two star for cleanliness. I went in about 8 AM on a Saturday morning. I was the only customer inside so they were not busy. I ordered a coffee and breakfast sandwich. The employee never asked me if I wanted cream or sugar with the coffee nor did she ask me if it was dine-in or takeout. Maybe they don't ask that there? Anyway I went to sit down and couldn't believe how messy it was...it's 8 o'clock in the morning people!?! The bench seating had not been cleaned in days. There were enough crumbs in between the cushions to make a donut. The tables and floor were filthy with stains, crumbs (another donut) and scraps of paper. I could understand if they were busy (maybe) or if it was mid-shift but this mess was obviously from the night before. That is on night shift management for not doing its job but the morning crew is just as guilty. The manager should have address this mess immediately! The customers should never see a dining area like that EVER but especially at 8 o'clock in the morning! It begs a question - If that is what the front looked like, I wonder what it looked like behind the counter (cooking, storage, food locker, etc...)? the workers are so nice. my friend and i asked the girl at the register what her favorite drink was because we wanted to order that and try it. she told us it was the hazelnut iced coffee and she was really sweet and interactive with us. we talked some more because it wasn't too busy and she bought us the coffee. the workers here are so kind and down to earth and the prices are great i recommend this place to anyone. xo read more

We were very disappointed in our first visit to the new DD. They were out of several items we wanted so We ordered juice and munchkin donut holes. We asked for glazed, chocolate and sugar. We got cinnamon, powdered sugar, and chocolate. Plus they shorted us by 10 munchkins and the date on the juice had expired already! Not going back. read more

Unlike most Dunkin Donut stores, the product was hidden from the customers, the parking is non existent, and the service is dreadful. We purchased 6 different donuts. Four were at least three days old, so we threw them out. The only one that was edible was a cruller, and it lacked taste. After patronizing Dunkin Donut locations from New York to Florida, this has to be the worst we have seen. read more

Not at all what I expected and I am a huge Dunkin Donuts fan. I went on two separate occasions and each time I was more and more disappointed. The first time I ordered an ice coffee with cream and a flavor shot at the drive thru, it took ten minutes to receive the drink after a barrage of people repeatedly asking me to confirm a part of my order at the window from multiple people ("You wanted a large right?" "No, medium." "Did you want a flavor shot or syrup?" "Flavor shot please." You want a flavor shot or syrup?" "Shot."). After I got my drink it was obvious the coffee had been burned, it tasted acrid with no trace of coffee flavor to it. The second time I ordered a small coffee coolata, a personal favorite. I went through the drive thru again and this time no questions were asked and I got my drink. Before I even tasted it I knew it would be bad; the drink was just liquid that sat at the bottom of the cup with the ice shavings clumped in the middle. I tried some and it was as if I was drinking a room temperature coffee with too much cream so I went inside to ask for a remake. The shift manager was very gracious and placed the remake order right away. The drink took five minutes to remake and when I received it the consistency looked the same as the last. I tried it and it tasted like drinking straight cream with ice bits. I hope it all is just from opening jitters and people learning how to work the machines, I plan to return one more time later on but if it gets the same poor results I will not be returning! read more
