This review is more cathartic than anything else since I'm sure the corp folks don't bother reading these or give a rat's as s about customer service. The tall guy with the attitude doesn't like his job and doesn't like customers either. I ordered a couple of cups of midnight this afternoon and his response was "we don't have midnight". Never happened to me before. Usually there is a lady there who will make a pot for my son and me if they are out. This "dude" was rude! There is another Dunkin up at the other end of main st and the folks there are very nice. I am sure the people who work with this guy know exactly what I am talking about. This may be the worst Dunkin in the area. On Saturday Oct. 18 we ended the store, and before we even ordered, the "person" working there was insulting and rude to two customer, one gentleman just trying to get a coffee,which he had a moblie order, and a wOman who wanted coffee with her milk. Terrible terrible terrible, never go to this Dunkin. For the past few weeks I've begun to order my mobile order 20 minutes before I get to the Dunkin, expecting a medium iced coffee to be made in that time. No matter the volume of orders or the volume of employees you will be waiting another 15 minutes in person, watching people walk in and get their orders before you. The two women who helped us were really friendly. The coffee was hot and coffee roll yummy. Clean bathroom.

Currently on a road trip, this was the first stop we made to use the restroom and get some food. My mom told the lady up front that she's the best after serving our donuts, and she responds with "yeah, whatever." If you're not willing to be kind and approachable in this kind of setting, then don't apply for the damn job. We're all having a rough morning, but it's crazy that the customer shows more kindness and empathy than the employee. If you're not a morning person, do NOT take morning shifts. read more

Visiting Southbury for a family wedding and we were looking for a place to get a quick cup of coffee one morning. Searched Yelp and found this Dunkin' right nearby . Went inside and saw such a clean establishment. Staff was busy with customers but the flow was fast. Got our coffee and some donuts and we were done . Coffee was fresh and hot and donuts were great.Excellent Dunkin' shop. Wish they were this good in our town. read more

My husband ordered a sourdough breakfast sandwich, no cheese. There was no menu on the screens above the servers, so the assistant manager who was helping us pointed to a small blackboard with a few items on it. I told her I wanted an egg and chorizo wrap with no cheese. Our order came and we sat down to eat. Hubby's was fine. Mine was awful. It was very runny and seemed to have runny cheese in it. I brought it to the counter and told them it was not good. They said the wraps are premade. I asked if it had cheese and they said yes. When I said I specifically asked for no cheese, they said that's the way it comes. I told them they should have told me so I could order something different. No apology. And no offer to make it right, like making something else for me. We have stopped here at least three times a year for 15 years. Never again! Teach your servers to listen! read more

I'm usually in the car when bestie goes in to pick up our order. We generally use the app to order and get it to go. Depending on who's behind the registers, the line is usually not bad. It's nice and clean. Having and using the app is great because it usually bypasses the line. There have been a few times that we had to wait because the order was not done or they had to brew a new pot of coffee to complete it. Otherwise, a decent location and well stocked. This DD has become my daily morning stop on the way to the gym. I use the DD Perks app to place my order, and the only times it's not ready when I get there is if they're making a fresh pot of dark roast coffee (I'll accept the brief wait for fresh coffee!) Shout outs to Jessica, Becca, and Nichole, who make sure my order is always right, and usually waiting for me (if coffee's made) when I get there. The only problem I've had there are from other customers who are a little miffed when they see me scoot in, grab my order, and head back out in under a minute, while they're still in line on busy mornings. I couldn't believe the line of people when I walked through the door. I had placed a mobile order prior to arriving and probably stood waiting for 15 minutes, alongside the many others who were as well. I can only assume people called out, a machine broke, or it was just a busy day. Despite, I commend the staff for staying calm and working to address everyone. They didn't get flustered and they continued to work together to meet the needs of all the customers. Hit or miss. Often miss. Unfortunately, this is the only location within a 10 mile radius and near the highway so this is often our preferred location. Mainly because of convenience rather than quality. I'm giving it two stars because there are many employees that are very efficient, friendly, and attentive. Contrastively, there are extremely rude and dismissive employees. I never really write reviews of bad experiences because I believe it's hard enough for a business to survive these days, but the teenage boy I dealt with this week was extremely rude and has messed up my order for the several times. Stoped in this Dunkin today with my sister for a quick coffee and snack. Not very happy. Coffee wrong, tea wrong. We both couldn't get what we wanted to eat. Then my sister decided to get something different. It was thrown together mess and wasn't able to eat it. The floor had food and debris all over it, where their customers sat. This location gets very busy and the employees do a good job of filling orders. My recent complaint about this location is that about 1/3 of the time when I order a cold brew, I get a regular ice coffee. I don't know if the employees think that there is no difference in flavor but there is. I don't even like their regular iced coffee so I know when I get one instead of a cold brew. read more

Coffee is ok but too expensive. Restaurant design, specifically bathrooms needs work. Long lines for bathrooms with only one working toilet. Wish I went to McDonalds off the exit for coffee. read more

Bad service, the schedules say from 5 am to 9pm. I've been there at 5:15 and it's closed. the staff in there and they do not attend

If you are going to advertise being open until midnight, stay open until midnight. It was 11:10 PM when I tried to stop in on my home from a trip. There were workers inside but doors locked. Checked doors again and then they turned all lights off. Another truck pulled in as I was leaving looking for coffee too. read more

It's really nice and comfortable to sit for a while! Staff here seemed nice! I had a short visit so not much to say! My coffee was very good! Bathrooms were nice and clean ! They had an ATM and a pay phone something you don't see much of anywhere! Also they sell a bit more merchandise than a lot of the other DD I have gone to. It's a bit hard to find it because the outside looks like someone's home ! But driving up and down the street a couple times ...I made it! :( read more

The service is ridiculously slow and the service is awful. There are always "computer issues". The only reason I came back was ownership gave me a $5 gift card. I've had several prior poor experiences in a row. The gift card didn't work. I'm never going back and I advise you go to any Dunkin in the area other than this one. I have been coming to this DD's every week for 2 years, recently there have been new hires or new to shift ... I get the same order tue. thru sat. Large ice tea unsweeten 2 lemons.... the other enployees go out of there way to be acominating not so with these 2 young ladies... I told them if they weren't going to have the ice tea it should be taken off the menu.... plus the fact that they close early... whe I left they both came to the window and glared out at me, intimidation, so I gave them an obscene gesture.... I've been a regular customer at this location for over 10 years. I have to say the place has gone downhill. The Staff is the rudest I've ever encountered. They act like they just don't care. I was treated so poorly I walked out without my order. The Server was a rough tough guy and couldn't handle the stress of his job. Very dismal place these days. Staff turnover is extremely high. I went to this particular Dunkin Donuts recently because I had a coupon for a free birthday coffee. This review isn't so much about the food or coffee which is pretty standard in every Dunkin Donuts and something that everyone is familiar with. This is about the customer service. When I had handed the coupon to the clerk, a nice young lady, she wished me a happy birthday. It's something as simple as that which will make a customer return and is worth it's weight in gold.
