This small family business has made to order mini donuts Puerto Rican style! These mini puff donuts are fried to perfection! I had a mini sampler. Choose 3 icing/drizzle and 3 toppings. It was hard to choose as they have a good amount to choose from. The donuts are soft doughy inside with a nice crisp on the outside. They were all delicious. A friend had the pistachio iced latte that tried and was really good and topped with whipped cream. I will definitely be returning back to the Mighty Donuts!

    So cute!

Made to order mini donuts Puerto Rican style! These mini puff donuts are fried to perfection! I had the mini sampler. Choose 3 icing/drizzle and 3 toppings. I chose mango, guava and blueberry for the drizzle and M&Ms, almonds and coconut flakes for the toppings. The donuts are soft doughy inside with a nice crisp on the outside. They were all delicious but my favorite was the guava. I also had the pistachio latte which helped me get my Christmas shopping done! It was really good and topped with whipped cream. Can't wait to have my girls try Mighty Donuts!!

The donuts are so fresh and warm, and the quality is incomparable! I finally decided it was time to try something with the dubai trending flavors - I ended up getting the Dubai Mini Donuts and they were incredible, I understand the hype! I also got a Cookies and Cream milkshake and it was thick and creamy, and I love anything oreo! I highly recommend this place!

We couldn't resist stopping by Mighty Donuts for a treat when we were in the area for dinner! Since our last visit, we were impressed to see how many tables and chairs they've added for dine-in, and they also added coffee to the menu! The donuts are as great as ever, and it's a perfect time to visit with the seasonal icings they have!

People!!!!! Run, do not walk to this place! I had the Dubai chocolate donuts. It was pee your pants good! So impressed came back the next day for more. The donuts are fried fresh to order. The flavor of the donut is like funnel cake. I clearly recommend and will be back soon, if not already...lol.

Variety sample box with a variety of donuts with different toppings. Life changing.

Sooooo good. The strawberries with Nutella donut are very delicious. The strawberries tasted like they were from heaven. I can't wait to go back.

What a spot! So unique for Hamden and a needed dessert break! Just as good as their tiny donuts are their fresh squeezed lemonades! We went and got a hot and fresh half dozen. I got pistachio and strawberries and my husband got apple cider with Cinnamon Toast Crunch. We both got lemonade-one passionfruit and on mango. This is definitely a spot you'll want to stop at!

This place was incredible! The mini donuts are made fresh right in front of you and personally decorated fresh out of the fryer. Each of the toppings are completely customizable! I wanted to try as many combinations as possible and chose the Nutella and strawberry, fruity pebbles, Oreo, caramel, and caramel and Chips Ahoy. However, if you are indecisive you could tell them to freestyle it and they will come up with some bomb flavor combinations. The interior was so cute and they have a few different seating options around the shop to enjoy your donuts, or you could also take them to go. The service was exceptional and everyone was so friendly!!! I already want to go back.

Really wanted to get some donuts close to home and decided to try out this place. The donuts were absolutely delicious. Crispy outside but so soft of the inside. Each donut was a perfect bite. They also have milkshakes which I definitely want to try next time. Customer service was very good, quick and very polite. If you want to get some donuts, this is the place!

Mini donuts with Nutella icing and lots of yummy toppings! Also mango lemonade !

I loved this place!! They make the donuts fresh everyday and decorate them right in front of you!! They have lots of different icing and toping choices! If you love lemonade you must try it! It is freshly squeezed right in front of you!! One of the best lemonades I've ever had!! I got mango flavored!!

My daughter spotted this place on insta and we drove there from Branford today and we are glad we did! Friendly, helpful server who made us delicious tiny donuts, fresh. Cute, clean shop. They are moving soon - hope it's closer to the shorelin

I went to Mighty Donuts for the first time recently and it was delicious! While it might not look like much from the outside, these mini donuts are amazing. You can order a "stick" of 6 donuts (on a skewer), a dozen in a box, or a double-dozen. They have both toppings (Oreo crumble, Fruity Pebbles, marshmallows, sprinkles, etc.) and icings (Nutella, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, maple syrup, etc.) you can add. There's also no limit for toppings/icings. I ordered a dozen donuts, half with vanilla frosting and Fruity Pebbles, and the other with Nutella and coconut. The donuts were fresh right out of the fryer. So good! This is mostly a to-go spot, as there's only a couple chairs to inside to sit. Parking is on-street. They also cater events, great for a birthday party!

Such a cute place and great idea! So many donut shoppes but none are MINI donut shoppes! Love it! They tastes amazing too! Owner is super sweet and very friendly! Highly recommend!

Most of their baked goods were sold out, which totally made sense because it was nearly closing time and the items that remained looked delicious. So we were sure that whatever had been sold before was more of the same. I ordered a hot latte and the kiddo ordered a raspberry tea. We also decided to order toasted sandwiches (grilled vegetables for me and grilled cheese for her) to enjoy in the shop. Enjoy we did! The latte was served with a foam smiley face. The espresso was strong and delicious and tempered nicely by the milk. Her tea was piping hot and fruity. The sandwiches were toasted but not blazing hot, for which we were thankful because we were very hungry. They also weren't greasy - an issue I have with other toasted sandwiches. As a side note - why do sandwich shops slather sandwiches in oil or butter when a simple iron sandwich press and a hot grill will suffice? Anyway, our sandwiches were great! They were filling but didn't leave us feeling lethargic (please refer back to the not greasy comment.) We were so happy to have a good meal and a seat after a long tour around the Quinnipiac campus. Bussing one's table is expected and the staff kept the tables spic and span in between patrons. Speaking of the staff, the young man who took our order and was servicing the dining area was kind and patient as we ordered. We made sure to leave fifteen minutes before closing because we didn't want to be THOSE people, namely the couple in the corner who'd setup their computer shop and looked to have no intention of leaving without a fight. We will definitely return to Bread & Chocolate if we find ourselves in the area again.

This place was extremely disappointing…read more I've had their bread at local restaurants and always thought it was excellent, which is what motivated me to visit in person. Over the past few months, I tried stopping by three separate times, twice they were already closed, and once they had completely sold out of bread. I finally made it there on a Sunday morning, and they had only one loaf left, and not a type I wanted. We decided to order two egg and cheese sandwiches (one with turkey bacon). Both were terrible. The rolls were soft, soggy, wet, and flavorless. Each sandwich had a single egg placed off-center, so half the roll barely had any egg at all. The turkey bacon was so bad we removed it and threw it out. Normally, I would have just moved on and not returned. But what really pushed me to write this review (which I never write) was the carrot cake we purchased. We took it home, refrigerated it, and tried it later that evening. It was, without question, the worst piece of carrot cake I've ever had. The frosting was hard, dry, stale, and completely lacking flavor, no sweetness at all. The cake itself was equally bad: dry, crumbly, and utterly tasteless. There was no hint of carrot, cinnamon, nutmeg, or any spice, just bland, dry crumbs. The cake was completely lacking sugar. After two bites, we threw it in the garbage. I don't say this lightly. I've been cooking and baking for decades, hold a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, and spent over 20 years in the industry. I've traveled extensively and eaten outstanding food around the world. For me, someone who genuinely loves desserts, to throw cake away (which is rare) says everything. I understand it was a Sunday and that fresh baking may not be happening that day, but it's simply not acceptable to sell baked goods from prior days that are clearly stale. Even more concerning than the staleness however, was the complete lack of flavor in the product. The sandwiches were disappointing, but that cake was on another level. I won't be returning for sandwiches or desserts, but perhaps the bread.

So far, I have only tried the one latte, the jasmine peach latte, which had peach puree, house made jasmine syrup, house made white tea cold foam and dried peaches. It was probably the best latte I have ever had. While their specialty drinks are only available small & medium, their sizes are 16 oz, 20 oz, 24 oz, so the small is actually the equivalent of some shops' large. I have only heard good things about their baked goods/pastries and they both looked and sounded amazing. I can't wait to try one hopefully very soon! Overall it was as close to a perfect experience as you get. Must try for sure. Immediate top spot for me.

My wife has had the special Cherry Cold Brew which sells out quick and some lattes with cinnamon brown sugar, fantastic. I vow to get there early enough one of these days to try their blueberry muffins, always sells out quick. They have a host of other pastries as well, you are missing out if you don't try this place.

They also don't sell bags of beans. The latte and Americano we got were so weak tasting. They are kind of a bar but the atmosphere is really not anything remotely like a bar. It's hard to imagine popping in here for a glass of wine. Kind of a tea house but not leaning into this. Pick something and do it well. Right now they're trying to be all the things and doing them all badly. The hours are also so infuriating, why would you not be open early or on Sundays? I live down the street but most times when I get an inkling to go here it's closed. Sometimes the vibes are super weird too.
