    Big n Toast

A suppose big n toast from Dunkin', which was big but not toasted bread was soggy no cheese, neither bacon the strip of bacon was 2" long cut in two and the cheese went on strike. Lol It's sad because I was a customer for many years years and I stop coming because of bad customer service, but when it changed owners I try coming back but too many mistakes with the app orders. They give you a sorry's but not even eBay wants them for sale. well, I guess I will stay away from them.

Now that I have to drop my daughter at school each morning I pass this DD every single day...and I am thankful it's here. And since I no longer have time for a second cup of coffee in the morning this DD will now have to be my new stop for a caffeine fix. The parking here is a bit of a nightmare as I have to cross traffic to get to the driveway and the parking lot behind the building is pretty tight. I'd also say that so far I haven't been impressed with the speed of the employees in this DD. Every time I've been here the line has been just about to the door, the staff at the register are ok, but the folks making the coffee/food seem to be less than enthusiastic...not what I need when I'm in caffeine distress or running late. C'mon folks, speed it up-it's coffee and pre-made eggs for crying out loud. Nothing should take you more than 45 seconds if you aren't toasting a bagel/muffin. Though the parking and service aren't quite high on my list of positives, they do make a good cup of coffee here...and YES, I've been to DD's that will screw up the coffee. If you can be consistend with your coffee I'll give you my standard 3-stars every time...if you can bump up the service a bit and get me out the door quickly and with a smile I'll be happy to bump you up to 4 stars.

Short line always they keep it moving during the busy mornings. Love this place

I avoid this store although it's closest to me. They don't know how to make a coolatta. The flavor is always weak.

It's a Dunkin Donuts, what more can you say? Coffee is okay, you can do better but you can also do worse.

Basic Dunkin. The app is horrible....it just won't load. Luckily I have a gift card on me.

I am definitely a huge fan of DD coffee and definitely not of Starbucks and most other coffee.

The food looks absolutely delightful and the reviews support how amazing the taste is! To the person who commented about the pride sticker and not being able to support this business because they support people like me... maybe consider grabbing a cup of coffee and sitting with someone who may be different than yourself. Some great discussions can be had over a good ole cup of coffee. You might learn something. I recommend a single shot of expresso and one of the mouthwatering sandwiches on brioche. My parents taught me to take the high road and treat others with love, id rather leave a note of change, than a message of hate. Peace, love and happiness

It's a very small homey like cafe where the few that were there seemed to have built a community. My mom and I came on a whim before a hike to the waterfall at Hemlock Falls at South Mountain Reservation. I ordered the avocado toast which had cherry tomatoes, sunflower seeds, crumbled feta and sriracha. While it wasn't overboard on the spice, if you are sensitive I would choose something else. My mom had the egg platter which came with scrambled eggs, bacon (turkey or pork) she had turkey bacon, white toast and the best seasoned sweet potatoes she's had. We also both had coffee she had a caramel latte and I had a white mocha, which were ok. The food was good but it was on the pricey side. It's a great spot if you are local otherwise I wouldn't go out of my way to travel here.

Anyway, since then I've been back 3 more times; once for breakfast and twice for brunch. And while I'm confessing, the two times for lunch were on subsequent days. Yeah, they're that good. Actually, their chicken salad on a croissant is the best I've ever had and in my advanced years I've had a crapload of chicken salad. The have a nice sized coffee bar, decorated beautifully with some pretty delicious looking pastries. I'm on an anti-sweet phase so I'm basing my opinion on only on appearance. Then there's a seating area when you can eat, served by a friendly attentive staff and an adjacent boutique area where you can purchase housewares, clothing and other cool stuff. I'm not in Maplewood all that often, generally when I'm shopping at the equally awesome City Workshop but when I do, I always make sure to hit up Perch. You should too. 1/2 star deduction because they don't offer fake sugar, just that Stevia crap which is gross.

Nice black-owned spot with variety of vegan options and it is clean. There's space to dine-in and they are open on Sundays. The energy is also open enough where strangers will have a convo while waiting. Coming from Brooklyn, I'm happy to have this spot so close to where I am now. Savory: My go-to is the chickpea tuna sandwich. I've tried it on a roll, long sub, and gluten-free... highly recommend the long sub. It's way too messy on the roll for me. Typically get it with the works. The potato salad is also very good most of the time (sometimes the potatoes are a little undercooked). I've also had the macaroni salad and the fried mushroom sandwich which are also good. I definitely enjoyed the thanksgiving special with stuffing (highly recommend that if they bring it back this year). Tip: if ordering a hero and you don't see yourself eating the entire thing in one sitting, I recommend requesting for the sandwich to not be cut so you can cut it evenly on your own For baked goods: the peach cobbler is good and it comes in a cute cup with a little spoon. I've also had the lemon cake & rum cake. Would order all 3 again. Would love to see donuts or cinnamon rolls (hopefully without cashews or walnuts due to my allergy). DRINKS: I haven't had a drink there that I would get again. The teas are overwhelmingly sweet; hibiscus punch was a lot like kool-aid to me. I also don't recommend the matcha if you are a matcha snob. Harper's Cafe is a great black-owned spot for a consistently good latte and they use quality matcha if you want quality nearby. Great spot with lots of options, especially if you're looking for a black-owned spot to support.
