Dunkin' - Since when have the donuts shrunk so much? - Donuts Near Me - Westerly, Rhode Island

Went to Dunkin at 164 Granite Street, Westerly on October 21st. I placed my order for a large iced decaf xxx no ice, small water no ice for my dog and one donut. The girl relayed back my order back to me. I get to the window and the lady went to hand me the coffee and I told her that's not my order. She looks at her register and sees the coffee was made incorrectly, it was a small coffee and I could tell it was dark and not even stirred. She placed a large water with ice on the sill and goes to remake my coffee. She comes back and I told her that the amount has to be wrong on the sign because the bill came to $6.33 she says no it's correct. I said to her how is that possible and she says well you ordered a large coffee, water and a donut. I was like you are kidding me you are charging me for a cup of water and she went to answer and the girl who took my order that messed it up originally decides to put her two cents in. She says we always charge for water. I told her all I wanted was a small cup for my dog and everywhere I go no one charges me. The other Dunkin just down the road that I usually go to never charges me for a cup of water. She says well they are supposed to. Everyone is supposed too. Now I say to the girl holding my coffee and her breath I don't want the water or the donut just the coffee. I could see she wasn't happy then the other girl says you are supposed to tell us when you order it if you change your mind ok now I'm holding my breath. I told her how was I supposed to know you were going to charge me for a cup of water then low and behold miss intelligent person that she is decided to say well if you are poor all you have to do is say so. I just looked at her and proceeded to pay for my coffee and she continued to repeat herself to me if you are poor then all you have to do is say so. I couldn't believe it. She looks like someone in high school. As I drove away I could hear her say all she had to do is say she is poor. I pulled up and sat for a moment thinking about going inside but chances are the manager wasn't there anyway and besides that I wish I drove away because on top of everything else my coffee was still horrible and not made right. I decided to go too McDonald's across the street and get a small cup of water for my dog. I told the lady at McDonald's what had just happened and she said I can come anytime water is always free here. As I waited to leave the parking lot I thought about going back to Dunkin to let this girl know McDonald's offers the water free but I decided the best way to handle it is through here and social media. I have been in management I have hired and fired people and believe me I would never hire someone like her. Where I come from the customer is always right and you don't argue or say stupid comments because you want them to come back and I guess you already know that isn't happening. I realize we are in different times and many places are short staffed but if you continue to hire people not only not capable of making a simple cup of coffee right but having not enough common sense to show some respect then I can tell you your business is done. I drove away saying to myself what in God's great name is wrong with her and how dare she say what she said. It is no business of her or anyone elses as to my situation but what really upsets me is the lack of ignorance she has, not even rudeness but ignorance. This seems to be the thing these days. Everyone is ignorant. Had I know I had to pay for the water in advance I surely would have but I was in complete shock when I was told I had to & their donuts which by the way I never eat are so small now to charge $1.89 is insane & don't get me started on the price for their crappy coffee that's why I stopped going to Dunkin 3 years ago but I was out and was in the mood for a coffee. Employees not properly wearing facemasks. Got my order wrong. Talking and wasting time in the drive through, slow.... I ordered a cold brew with sweet cold foam and one pump of caramel. Coffee was not cold brew (I can tell by the taste), caramel was not mixed (sitting at the bottom), the cold foam was substituted for whip cream I can tell by the taste and very little was added. If I could give 0 stars I will ! This Dunkin sucks like x1000 they literally make you repeat your order 5 times and still get it wrong , Dunkin you just hiring anybody now ?! This location literally is so A** , I specifically told them no egg on my bagel and what do they do they put egg what if I was allergic , there goes my money for nothing, all because the no good dumb employees don't wanna pay attention and have major mf attitude . We placed an order for two people & paid. We only received part of what we ordered. The cashier could not provide us a receipt & we had to re-purchase the drink and donut order that we had already placed and payed for at the window. Please provide your customers with a receipt. their bacon wasn't cooked, they gave me the wrong sandwich and didn't even tell me that they didn't have what I wanted. The workers look dimwitted and high, they were rude and made up excuses and gave dirty looks.. after I corrected my order they still fucked it up. Unfortunately this Dunkin Donuts has really gone down hill. It's as if nobody wants to work anymore? Everyone seems so miserable, & there seems to be zero communication between the workers. I would ONLY go to this Dunkin for years, because of the great Customer Service they had. & then I noticed all new faces over a short period of time, & we began REPEATEDLY receiving the wrong orders (sandwichs made wrong, my Fiancé coffee would never get his turbo shot he payed for etc.). We then started going to the one by McDonald's, & thankfully we have had a much better experience !! read more

Hubby likes this location better than the one next to mcDs. They're friendlier and usually get your order right. My kids who go to the high school will even bypass the closer one to go to this Dunkin' Donuts. We generally use the drive thru and the window people are very professional and friendly. Some of them ,like Todd , learned our names and even the name of my 6 year old. The drive thru service here seems to be a lot faster than the other 2 Westerly locations. read more

I stopped by this Dunkin Donuts at 11:53am (exact time on receipt) to order a large sweet iced tea with extra ice. I started by saying good morning at the drive-thru speaker. The staff taking orders took a moment to try and correct me with a condescending tone that it is good afternoon not good morning. I was in a rush and not in the mood to argue back and forth so I just ignored her condescension and placed my order. I looked at my watch and saw that it was not 12noon yet, and the last I checked GOOD AFTERNOON STARTS AT 12:00! I was willing to overlook that disrespectful and poor customer service but when my order was made wrong I decided to take a minute to leave this review. I ordered a sweet iced tea, instead I was given an unsweetened iced tea. I was in a rush I didn't take a sip of the beverage until I was about 5 minutes away on the road. If the staff at this location took time to pay attention to order accuracy instead of trying of trying, with lack of knowledge, to correct customers on common sense greetings they could reduce customer dissatisfaction. read more

If I could give a negative starred rating it would be -5 Stars. Whoever was working today at around 5PM is the most rudest unpleasant person there is and DOES NOT DESERVE TO WORK THERE. Right from the pull up at the drive through was an instant attitude. I was going to order a medium apple cider and noticed that the large was cheaper! Lady rudely said "DO YOU WANT THE MEDIUM OR THE LARGE?!" Well I don't know I might get the large because it's cheaper.. "It's $3.33!!" Yeah I know but now it's the stores mistake and you have to honor your mistake because that's what I saw it for, right? "NOPE IT'S $3.33 I ALREADY PUT IT ON THE COMPUTER DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT?!" I had asked to speak to a manager. Of course she still rudely replied saying the manager isn't here past 5PM which I understand.. But she said it in a way where I felt like she thinks she's going to get away with this now. Finally had enough I told her she was RUDE AF. Replied with "IDGAF". Fine. You now either will see me tomorrow or corporate will be called but this problem definitely has to be resolved. I frequently visit Dunkin donuts on 164 granite st in westerly ri there is always one person working at the counter she sometimes has a line an will ask for help while over near the drive up window there will be a manager different color shirt so I assume that's what he is two girls laughing and joking with him or just standing around . This day one of the girls her name is chantle comes over to the counter to help her out with the biggest attitude going.. and she said to the man in line what can I get you with her attitude as she takes his order the gentleman said to me guess she's pissed cause The woman asked for help i replied sounds like that and I think working with the public she needs to get rid of her attitude !!! Not sure I spelled her name right.. tell her to stop clowning around and help where help is needed without the attitude ... remember you should get the customers in an out as soon as possible without the attitude .. next time I will contact the manager read more
