We get the order (total wait time was 1hr/55 minutes or so) and head out. My daughter starts to drink her vegetable spinach banana smoothie. She starts complaining that something is scratching and irritating her throat, we respond by saying oh it's fine probably just the spinach. We get home and she's really coughing and gagging. She runs to the toilet and vomits profusely, everywhere. Within seconds we see what happened. She was drinking shredded f'ing plastic. We pulled away the cup and emptied it into our hands over the sink and there it was. Shredded plastic (two kinds!!!!) in the DOZENS. Small and large partials. Unfortunately, that happened to us as well. My husband's meal arrived first, and mine came a little while later. It wasn't a long delay, but it would be nice if both meals were served together whenever possible. One thing that also caught me off guard was the payment process. The server came to the table with a handheld device and simply gave me the total without providing a printed check. I asked for the itemized bill, and she gladly printed it for me. I prefer reviewing the check before paying. They also charge a .75¢ service fee for credit card payments, while paying with cash avoids that fee. The printed receipt includes a QR code if you prefer to pay that way. As for the food, it was delicious! I ordered the Monte Cristo waffle sandwich, and it was excellent. My husband loved his chicken and waffle trio as well. The waffles were especially amazing! Overall, we had a great experience. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly, and we'd definitely recommend this restaurant. We look forward to coming back.
