This is easily the worst matcha I have ever had in my life. I stopped in on our way to watch hill for a quick coffee break and ordered at the counter. The drinks took about 10 mins to come out which was very surprising given that there wasn't a line. There was a long queue making me think that they are popular but no one else had a matcha so maybe it was for the smoothies and coffee. Husband ordered the coffee and said it was fine, he did order decaf and I'm pretty sure they gave him regular. My matcha was thick and grainy, not at all well mixed and I could still literally see the powder. It ruined the whole drink entirely and I took a few sips trying to see if it could be palatable but it was truly disgusting. Will definitely not be back. read more

Lovely little spot. Wonderful atmosphere that reminded me of home in Cape Town. The employees were friendly and accommodating, asking clarifying questions to ensure they got my order right. My quad-shot cortado was delicious. Hot, and bold. Had lovely flavours to it that was original. Would definitely go back. read more

What a good vibe this place has! From the cheery duo playing music near the entrance, to the friendly baristas, to the airy patio out back, this unassuming little shop is full of good things and great coffee. On the list of specials, there was an Arnold Palmer with fresh brewed tea and strawberry purée. That was extremely delicious! I was going to go for the same until I saw the sprinter smoothie, which had espresso, peanut butter and a whole bunch of other delicious things. if you're driving by, I want some thing a little different for a snack then the garbage you can pick up in a convenience store, for example, the one next door, please give this place a "shot". When you drive by it seems like a strip-mall environs on a busy/loud road that you might not want to hangout in. Then when you go inside you realize it's anything but - it has a clean, bright and fresh 'surfer' vibe interior, including a really wonderful huge patio on the river along the backside of the building away from the busy road. There are lots of handmade pastries - apparently made and cooked on the premises daily, and seasonal specials. I tried the scones, 'cruffins' and turnovers (Yes, all 3. Don't judge!), all super tasty. The folk working the bar were friendly too. I can brave a place with rude staff for the best chocolate croissant in town - but friendly staff is always a nice bonus deal. I saw a review here where they griped about the Matcha latte. I make and/or oder them all the time at every coffee house I go to. The one I ordered here tasted fine and I enjoyed my drink and meal. So I have no idea what that reviewer was going on about. read more

This coffee shop is the perfect blend of seaside town vibes and upscale coffee craft. They have many healthy options like acai bowls, specialty toasts and café treats. There is a surfing aesthetic and vintage finds too. Additional seating is out back on a nice deck with a view of the water. Dogs are welcome! Everyone is friendly and the barista that took my order was helpful in deciding on a beverage since they had a few seasonal options. I ordered the pumpkin coconut latte iced with oatmilk. The barista that made my drink, unfortunately forgot to put any of the flavorings in which I didn't realize until I'd already left so I never did get to try that seasonal flavor combination which was super disappointing but at least the iced oatmilk latte was really good. I'd love to return with more time and try a flavor and some avocado toast. read more

If you're in Westerly, you need to stop and if you live anywhere close, stop often. The staff are super friendly and just walking in makes you feel better. The pictures and surf boards make every visit feel like you caught a great wave. There is a patio area out back where you can sit by the river and is dog friendly. Parking can be a little tight, but sometimes the best waves require a little patience and you know the ride will be worth it. read more

My husband and I stopped in for a quick late lunch. The chai latte I ordered was delicious. We shared the avocado and bruschetta toast -- mmm! We enjoyed the ambiance in the quiet late-lunch hour. The decor inside is fun but sophisticated. Love the location right on the Pawcatuck River (though it was a bit too chilly to enjoy the outside seating!). We're glad to have found this nearby spot -- we'll be back. read more

I am so glad I made the trip into downtown to stop by this lovely little shop on my way to the beach. Walking through the door I was immediately brought back to my days of living in socal on the beach where the only thing people worry about is the tide and when it's time to surf. It is relaxing, welcoming, and charming. It is a small family owned business, so if you're expecting Starbucks speed and vibes, this isn't the place for you. They sell coffee, juices, and small bites like avocado toast and açaí bowls, as well as having local little items/merch. The shop displays gorgeous beach photography from around the world by the owner himself. One of the owners was on site working when I stopped in, so I was lucky enough to meet her. She was so lovely and down to earth. The staff was very kind and friendly as well. I got the killer beez latte and it was incredible. I consider myself a bit of a coffee snob (dunkin is a no go for me) and my first sip was everything I hope for in a latte and ignited my taste buds with flavor. I also got the nosara açaí bowl and it was absolutely delicious. This place knows what they are doing and the vibe they are going for down to the incredible playlist floating through the speakers. This is an awesome new coffee shop in Westerly! They are at a wonderful location by the river and the coffee shop has a very relaxing and beachy vibe! The quality of their coffee is excellent and tastes delicious! I have gotten iced lattes and iced cappuccinos! They have a simple coffee menu and nothing overly sweet! They also have a bunch of avocado toast options, acai bowls and a juice bar! I tried their Nosara Bowl (acai bowl) and it was excellent! Typically, I would ask for peanut butter on top, but I totally forgot to ask. I am very picky on my coffee and acai bowls, but this place nailed it!! I have visited the location twice, once during their soft opening and got to meet the Owners. The Owners are really nice and definitely want to get to know their customers. It appears that the Owners are always there and working. I stopped in the following week and their parking lot was packed and a line out to the door! I was very impressed on how quickly they were still able to get the orders out for a new business! They are dog friendly too! Only suggestion would be for tables/chairs to be out on the patio to enjoy the view of the Pawcatuck River (but I am sure they are planning to add to that!) I went there twice. The first time was three weeks ago. I walked in looked around. No food on display. I wasn't expecting it to be a coffee shop. Beautiful place. A beautiful empty place with one customer ahead of me in line being waited on. It took forever. The place is swelteringly hot. It was 96 outside, 96+ inside. I was never acknowledged during my time in line. One other person walked in after me. I was too hot so I left. Two weeks after that I drove by on a Sunday afternoon and it was closed. Very surprising given it was one of the last busy weekends of the summer. Later in the week I returned. Again, swelteringly hot. Waited a very long time again. Got a cold brew iced coffee. Tasty. $4.50. FYI : Their Avocado toast with bacon is $9.50. With a name like stick and fin, it will be more like skull and crossbones if they don't address their HVAC situation pronto! And what is with the counter help not wearing some sort of uniform? She was in jeans and a T-shirt while the other staff in the back appeared to be dressed professionally. read more

Used to enjoy the drinks here, but one day, the owner wasn't there. A young blonde guy made the drinks and they were dreadfully sub par. Next time we went in, the owner was there, I mentioned this to her and she got defensive and said he was an excellent barista. Well so much for customer service. Stuff your cafe, and attitude young lady, how dare you call me a liar! You don't get my loyalty anymore, and we were regulars every weekend and sometimes during the week. There's another equally good coffee shop along the way called Junk n'Java and you always get a good product and friendly service. Do yourselves a favor and go there, this woman doesn't know the meaning of customer service. read more

Such a great addition to our area!! I have been sampling the juice menu - delicious and nutritious. Their combinations fit very well into dietary choices, one of my favorites is the turrono juice - orange grapefruit lemon and lime. Coffee is tasty & artistic, variety is lovely - lavender!! When you don't want an eggs and bacon breakfast or hamburgers, their bowls with fruit, yogurt, veggies and/or any of the yummy combinations are amazing. Beautiful spot, nice decor. I cannot recommend Stick + Fin enough. The menu is well rounded - juices, coffees, pastries, egg sandwiches, fun breakfast toasts. The fall seasonal drinks were amazing- so many options and different flavors. The vibe in the cafe is immaculate - casual and cool. I spent a morning here sipping a latte, enjoying an avocado toast and even a juice to go. Wifi was great and they are dog friendly to well behaved dogs! 10/10 in my book read more

Excellent new coffee shop right on the main road! Clean and friendly atmosphere. I had the best iced chai latte I've ever had in my life. I also got the Nutella toast which was amazing. The avo toast looked delicious too. The owners are super friendly and down to earth. And it's dog friendly!!! This is definitely on my list to stop anytime I'm in the area. read more

The smoothies are pretty good & there's no where else local to get one. I'm a fan of Dave's Coffee but prefer their other locations. I wish they were open regular hours instead of the morning until afternoon or I'd rate them higher. They accept cash & credit/debit! You have the option of buying a $25 card too which makes it easier to pay if you're in a rush after/before a workout.

Here at Bess Eaton they give you a mound of real bacon that has some crunch to it. And the eggs taste better here. Dunkin eggs have a crap ton of ingredients in them and I get a coconutty after taste. I don't care that they've tried to replicate the egg white and egg yolk portion- the taste and texture is so weird. Bread options are bagel, croissant, English muffin, and flat bread. Staff is more experienced here as they seem to hold on to them a lot longer than the big chains. A lot nicer service too!
