I was looking forward to tasting this cuz the description sounded yummy. I like vanilla and I like matcha but this drink was lacking something. I will stick to ordering frozen chocolate in the future. Hubs and Doc had hearty breakfast sandwiches but my order of 2 mini bagels didn't look like nor taste like bagels- more like mini pale manju that if you squeeze it, you can find the cream cheese in it. Next time I need to remember to stick with donut holes if I'm not that hungry. It was a good idea to stop here for our to go, eat on the way breakfast. read more

Unfortunately, it is always understaffed. I have stopped here a couple of times already and ordered here because it is the only place where I can get a cappuccino in this stop, however, every time I have waited at least 15min for the order because the the same employee that is taking the order is the one making the drinks. They really need to hire more people and stop overworking the ones they have. I try to avoid stopping here but sometimes I forget I have to stop here for gas lol read more

Kari(I hope I got her name right) is an amazing worker who deserves more recognition for the hard work she puts in! We stop by to charge our car since the service plaza is the closest supercharger, and she's in there every night we come by doing her best to make everyone that comes by happy while managing everything she can at the same time. The drinks are always tasty and it's nice to have a donut place open so late! Only complaint would be how little staffing there is to handle the end of day tasks. These awesome late shift folks need a hand back there, they're doing great for what they have to work with! read more

‼‼BUGS EVERYWHERE. ‼‼I asked for an iced coffee with cold foam and whipped cream. He gave me a regular black coffee and when I said something he slapped whipped cream on top and I peeped over to the machinery and there were ants and flys crawling all over it. Bugs happen and it's normal but to have ants crawling and dead on machinery you're using ??? Disgusting. Place needs to get shut down. read more

I just had to write about the wonderful experience I have had at this particular Dunkin Donuts that I have been too several times. I highly recommend this place as the service is absolutely excellent and exemplary. Particularly "Kari" who I see there often working hard and going out of her way to show hospitality and courtesy and kindness. I truly hope Dunkin Donuts gives her some kind of recompence and promotion for her efforts. The place is very clean and well maintained. Because of her the place is outstanding. Just an awful experience. No one to take an order and you're expected to use touchpad kiosks to place your order and pay prior to it being prepared. One was being used by a couple of women placing an order for probably a dozen people and the other kiosk was locked up, the women having exhausted it. I was able to clear their order and place mine. And wait. And wait. Finally someone comes out from the rear and the women hail him down as they locked up the second kiosk. They had the clerk rekey their entire order on a terminal behind the counter. Still I wait. A couple more clerks appear from the rear. One has a confab with the first clerk and the other one starts cleaning a coffee machine. And I wait. By this time there is a line of about 10 customers. Finally the second clerk who may have been a supervisor asks me what I'm standing at the counter for. I said "my order". She asked my name and I told her. She looked at the board and says "I can get that for you (it was 2 coffees). With only one or two more conversations with other clerks she finally gives me my coffee. Total elapsed time over 25 minutes to get 2 coffees. Never again. read more

On the turnpike and need coffee? Then Stop here! It always gets me through the last leg of a trip heading home. If you need a donut with your coffee, then you're in luck too. Personally, I think the rest of Dunkin's food is crap, so if you're looking for something more substantial, then there are other places at this rest area. I'll stop here again when I'm passing by! Whoever owns this DD needs to hire more staff, the girls are working as fast as they can but with a line out the door it took 30 + mins. And the food was cold. Again, I don't blame the workers, I blame the owners for not having enough staff for a SUPER busy location!!! The most miserable service woman at 5:20 this morning . Growled 3.66 as my husband payed for his two donuts ! Wow time to make the donuts is her mantra and needs a new job ! This particular Dunkin' is located in the rest area on the Florida Turnpike. It is a good spot to grab a quick bite to eat or something to drink while you are stretching your legs as you take a break in your travels either up or down the Florida Turnpike as you navigate through the Sunshine State. I probably get a bagel with cream cheese the most when I stopped in here. I like their everything bagels probably the most and I will usually choose their vegetable or chive cream cheese. Wally's Bagels might not be as good as the bagels that I used to love in the Northeast, they are still a decent bagel and on par with the quality of most of the bagels in Florida. I have never had an issue with service, though there are times that the line has been a bit long. But, that is to be expected. If you find yourself pulling in this rest area, check out Dunkin'. Grab yourself a coffee, a donut (they once were called Dunkin' Donuts, after all), a sandwich or a bagel. Hey, grab something. read more

Extremely poor service. Everything was sold out nearly and it's only 8 in the morning. All employees including what appeared to be a manager were extremely rude about this rolling their eyes multiple times and being aggressive to customers. Ambience was terrible. Barely passable Dunkin Donuts coffee for the ride to my parent's house in Ocala. Located in the Okahumpka Service Plaza the best thing about this coffee is the funny name of the place. Maybe it's me but DD's coffee back in NY tastes so much better than this burnt and bitter coffee. Plus, I was surprised at how costly it was here. Slow service, extremely long line, and very very dirty. I saw at least 12 flies at any given time while waiting to get to the register. They seemed very understaffed considering they are the only food spot open in the mornings at this Turnpike service center. The food quality was as bad as the service (burnt and old chicken reheated in fryer, burnt biscuit soaked with grease from reheating chicken improperly). Always extremely long lines! Often I've had to stop by the service plaza for a little break on my way back from Gainesville because my eyes were feeling a little droopy. Unfortunately I can never seem to get the caffeine pick-me-up I need from this Dunkin because the line is always absurdly long! Moreover it's not a full-service Dunkin and does not accept free drinks through the app. The one time I was able to get a drink in a reasonable amount of time, was the time I thought I was gonna get diabetes from my drink; it tasted like pure sugar! I know there are a lot of negative reviews but what do you expect when you go to a travel center. I was pleasantly surprised with the service and friendliness of the staff. We joked and I was in and out within 5 min, the line was backed up but they pushed through everyone fast. Imagine if that was your job and you had travelers non-stop. How many people do you think are negative to them or in a rush. I could tell they were slammed but wanted to make them smile and laugh, which my wife and I did. This location sits within the Okahumpka Plaza on Florida's Turnpike. Standard DD menu and ok service. I have to give them 2 stars for 3 reasons. 1 - Burnt coffee (c'mon, guys...really?) 2 - Higher prices. I realize most of your customers are travelers, but that's no reason why you need to jack up the rates. Almost $3 for a medium coffee? I should just go to Starbucks then. 3 - Slow lines. Again...this location can have some very high traffic due to travelers, but the line shouldn't go this slow. There are only a few things on your menu that actually requires some time to cook. Most of it is already made. Overall...i hope they step up and fix some of these issues, because DD is a fabulous brand. read more
