I'd never been to Dunkin before, and I was shocked by how small, dinky and poor quality the donuts were. They taste like they were made a few days ago, and sure enough, I discovered they're shipped in vs. made the day of on site. The ambiance also couldn't be more off. My chocolate frosted doughnut was small so he gave me two but they weren't fresh. They weren't hot. They just weren't great. I would rather go to Royal donuts on Fallbrook and victory Boulevard way better donuts way better everything they have. I had a $5.00 gift card that I was not going to waste, so I stopped in, even though I don't usually grab donuts. There is a small lot on the side and the potential for street parking. Inside was spacious, though relatively empty as I was stoping in before work. The two people behind the counter were very nice, especially as I was unfamiliar with all their coffee selections. Ultimately, I went with a cold brew and just the tiniest bit of their sweet cream foam. Apparently most of their beverages come with some type of sugar in them, so, if you don't want dessert in your coffee, beware. I went with my favorite apple fritter and I was not disappointed! There was an amazing apple filling in the very center which took this fritter over the edge for me. I don't really buy donuts, but if I'm hankering for an apple fritter, I'd get one here. I might skip the coffee, as it was pretty pricey for a plain cold brew. Between the donut and the coffee, my bill was close to $8.00; it was great with a $5 gift card, but I wouldn't want to pay that price for those two items on the regular. Not so impressed with DD, there are so many choices these days from grocery stores to celebrity owned brands. They're not special at all. The only reason I come here is to pickup 2 donuts for my 2 grandchildren if we're picking them up or if I'm going to the bank or CVS both next door. For a company that has tons of locations throughout the country, you'd think they can afford a bit more staffing. It also appears that the turnover is pretty high here for employees. I go here few times every couple of months but always notice different faces. The food and drinks themselves are fine. Service has gone downhill since they have opened. The girl at the register was super slow motion Friday morning June 24. There were about 4 other employees doing things but not one person greeted me or the people in front or behind me. It was not even crowed inside and some people working just seemed spaced out. I get it that someone is on register, someone doing the to go orders, someone cooking sandwiches and or making coffee orders etc. but it only takes a hello or hi with a smile to make a customer feel welcome. I was so delighted when they opened in our neighborhood in Woodland Hills. No more having to go to Encino to satisfy those donut cravings. The place is spacious and clean, with friendly staff to help. My kid's goto is the glaze (can never go wrong), as well as Bavarian creme fill, and Boston creme for my wife. I am a lemon filled fanatic, and this time i tried their apple fritter. The fritter is full of apple slices, which is a pleasant welcome! There is a free private parking, and the hours of operation are from 5am to 9pm. I did have one suggestion, at 8pm they ran out of glaze :-( Say it isn't so :-) Its probably #1 on most people's list, so you cannot allow that to run out with one hour to go, and you don't plan on cooking up more. read more

Dunkin in the Valley...what???? Interesting location and there is parking available there. You walk in and are greeted by friendly employees. I have this newfound love of donuts and sugar ever since I went on this nutty diet that cut out a lot of stuff. Didn't realize just how addicted I am to sugar...mainly pastries, donuts, cookies and well... anything baked goods. So Dunkin is good and I think the idea that it was never here in the west coast just makes it that much more enticing. Realistically, I've had fresher and better donuts, but it's the convenience, the familiarity, the pricing, the variety and the charm of Dunkin that keeps you on your toes. There are so many flavors, I got the french cruller. I love the smallness of those and the munchkin donut holes - I love those because they trick you into thinking..."aah its so little, it's not going to do anything to me" mentality. It just adds a little bit extra if one donut isn't enough. Which for me, one is never enough and thus is my ongoing battle with gluttony haha. We got the munchkin donuts and it was only 2$ for 10 in the cutest box that kept them super secure. They have a hot chocolate machine and so many options for cold drinks, even cold brew. They didn't have the biggest variety like other locations, but the donuts were very fresh and the place felt exceptionally clean. The mint hot chocolate was good and we got an iced almond milk vanilla latte which was also awesome. The parking was on the side of the building and it was super easy.
