Delt with the owner not only is he very rude he is very unprofessional and made a total fool of himself so he wouldn't have to replace a cup of coffee. I went through the drive thru to get my wife a cup of coffee and they put splenda in it instead of sugar I called in and they said not a problem. I went back the next day for the replacement I was then asked by the owner to see my phone so he can go through my call log because he said "I don't trust you" He then told me he can't help me without my receipt I said not a problem next time I come in I will bring it with me. So I ordered a new coffee and paid for it and guess what he did not give me a receipt. I called him on the phone and once again he told me the receipt is very important and I said to him if it that important to you why did you not give me one? Extremely aggravating with the service at this Dunkin Donuts. We did a pick up order through the app and the girl at the window had no idea what we ordered so we had to tell her everything one by one. And then we wanted to add one donut and she grabbed the manager who was the most disrespectful out of them all and continued to cut me off and tell us we can't add anything at the window. The people there are rude consistently. The owner especially. My wife would go there in the morning before work and get her coffee with cream and they would continually make mistakes. She would bring it back to them. It happened so often they told her it was her fault and that they were not going to replace her coffee. This was about four years ago. I'm not sure what happened to the old owners, this used to be my favorite Dunkin. Now every time that I go in there, it is nothing but young kids. They have no idea about what they are selling and move at the speed of glue. The other night I waited over 15 minutes for a milkshake. I went in today, they told me they would be with me in a minute, and of three people, two who appeared to be doing absolutely nothing, nobody came over. I ended up walking out. I'm a sbux lover, always have been. My boyfriend is a DD lover. He hasn't converted me, but I do appreciate DD a bit more now. This is the go-to location for both of us. It is in between our houses and we stop here often. I also stop here in the morning before I get on the metra. Now, I only get coffee, nothing fancy and never food. The service has always been friendly, fast, and accurate. I've never had any issues. The morning crew is the best! What a disappointment! Where do I begin.....? First, I noticed the parking at this location is horrendous, very tight parking between the drive-thru and parking spaces themselves, grade "F". Second, the drive thru speaker sucks. The person taking my order had to repeat something three times because I couldn't understand him, it wasn't because of his accent, the speaker was just that bad, grade "F". Third, the turn to get to the window is extremely tight, "Student Drivers" beware. Fourth, I got stuffed on my hash brown order. As if we aren't charged enough on hash browns for six, I only got four. Lastly, the person that took my money never said, "Thank you, have a nice day" or "Thanks for stopping" or even "Have a nice day". I come here 3-4 times a week during the day with my aunt and her two kids and during the day the staff is all so friendly! I always get the right order nothings ever wrong the store is always super clean! But it's a completely different story when I come here at night with my fiancé to get ice cream and or coffee the man working the overnight shift ALWAYS gives us something messed up or wrong usually I'm not one to complain but this is the 10th time!! I asked for my coffee in a paper cup versus styrofoam. Drinking hot coffee from a styrofoam cup is not a healthy thing. They told me that would be an additional charge of $2.00 for the cup. I go to Dunkin Donuts just about everyday all over Chicago. I have never been charged before. I guess this is just reflective of an owner who looks to take advantage of customers. Manager has worst customer service skills EVER! After being given the wrong coffee and no receipt, I called. The manager proceeds to YELL at me about bringing the coffee in, in order to get a replacement. Will never again go to this location!!! My mother and 6 yr old son went in to buy the 2 for $5 breakfast sandwiches and initially one of the ladies there was taking their order. Well since my mother asked if they could substitute the cheese to white cheddar instead of the American cheese, the manager took over the order and rudely asked his employee to move out of the way. He informed my mother that he couldn't substitute the cheese and my mother couldn't understand why. My mother handed him a coupon but wasn't sure if he did scan it and asked him if he did scan the coupon at the end of the transaction and the store manager became irritated and told my mother that she should have asked any questions before the transaction was completed. At that point, my 6 yr old noticed his frustration with my mom and told my mom "come on grandma, let's hurry up, this man is being mean to you!" My mother came home, explained the situation to me and of course I grabbed the breakfast sandwiches and went back. Once I arrived, I asked for the manager and when he came out I said to him "first of all, let me start with letting you know that you just lost a customer!" As soon as he saw me upset his facial expression changed and I continued on with telling him that I didn't appreciate how he treated my mother and worse that it was in front of my son! He denied the whole thing and went on with saying that he couldn't substitute the cheese on my order and that if I didn't lower my tone of voice that he wasn't going to take care of me. I asked for him to substitute the cheese and if not just give me the money back. He was willing to give me my money back since he refused to substitute the cheese but couldn't do so since I didn't have my mother's debit card. So I said "then fix my sandwiches!" I usually don't make negative reviews. However, this morning I experienced something at this Dunkin Donuts that was not acceptable. The manager that works at that location is usually quiet and not very interactive. Today I got to see what he's like. I go there often and the employees are very kind and as quick as they can be. I went to the drive thru and had to pull into a parking spot to wait for my food. One of the employees brought out the food but it was the wrong order. I went inside to help them figure out the situation. That is when the manager approached me. He seemed frustrated at his employee snatched the food out of her hands and tried arguing that the food in the bag was the food I ordered. I reitterated my order and he apologized and let his employees know what to make. But that's when it got worse. He then proceed to speak in another language frustrated at the employee who brought me the wrong food. I asked one of the other employees if everything was okay and she said "don't worry he gets like this when we're busy". So, I dropped it. Then seconds later a young lady went over to a sink with a metal coffee pot. Because she was flustered and trying to move quickly she dropped it. The manager then began yelling at her and I couldn't take it anymore I told him he needed to respect his employees and not be rude to them. He then told me that "she messed up really bad". I explained she simply dropped a pot she was going to wash anyway. There was no reason for him to treat her so badly expecially in front of other employees and a ton of customers.
