I didn't think it was a problem getting paint at the store, but the guy at the store with the red beard had an attitude. He was totally not friendly and not accommodating. I just wanted to buy paint with the matching color. He gave me such pushback on the brand that he said he didn't carry anymore. Furthermore, I asked him to take my primer to stir it on the machine. when I got home, I found out He never did it. I paid $24 for a quart of paint. It should've been $12. Dunn Edwards has by far the best quality paint we've used, so we continue to return. I was ecstatic when the Agoura Hills Store opened because I don't have to drive far if I need additional paint. One thing to keep in mind though, when you purchase boxed plastic sheeting from this store-- make sure the box wasn't re-sealed, or open the box before leaving I was unlucky to pick up a sealed box with a used roll (probably a return that the store didn't check). Fortunately whatever remained on the roll was sufficient, but it's not a good feeling to open a box and discover that someone else already tore off what they needed. read more

I am amazed they have such a gifted color consultant, Asia, to help with the decision making process when you are about to paint your entire house. It's an overwhelming task when you are not a designer. Our painter suggested I make an appointment with Asia before deciding on any colors I think "might look good". Although I tried to educate myself on the "neutral" paint palette for a couple weeks, I learned SO much from her. Like most, over the last year my wife and I have been at home spending a lot of time doing DIY projects. We have painted 6 rooms and are about to do our entryway so needless to say we have spent plenty of time in places like DO It Center, Home Depot, Floor and Decor and the rest. It is always so refreshing to go to Dunn Edward's in Agoura. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable, always willing to help and give advice but above all we could never have done such an amazing job of picking color and design without the help of Asia. She has been a lifesaver. Whenever we have a question about color she really takes the time to help us and patiently answer all our questions. I would leave zero stars if I could. This store is absolutely terrible, they are 3 for 3 on screwing up orders. Not sure how they are even functioning. First project I ordered a white lacquer, it was yellowed. They argued with me that I didn't know what I was talking about and that was how it was supposed to look. After a day of wasted time, they got a new batch and low and be hold, it was actually white. Second problem, they lost my order of white 5 gallon of aristoshield I ordered a day prior. I tried to pick it up at 3, they said it was lost and closed the store. No help. Final time, they made the wrong color, so here again I am sitting here unable to work because of their incompetence. read more

I really can't say enough about this Dunn-Edwards location. I have visited the store several times in the past week and the entire staff has been very helpful. I took a few small color paint samples home to try out and they all look great. When I returned the next day I really couldn't decide which color to choose. The manager suggested I speak with their on-site Color Advisor Asia Shapiro who was immediately helpful in guiding me through the selection. She certainly was an expert in coordinating paint colors but also knowledgeable about the technical aspects of the product line. The service I received is very much appreciated. I have been fond of Dunn-Edwards paints for many years because of the unparalleled quality of its paint products; but it was especially nice to meet and work with the staff at this location! read more

I had no idea what color to paint the exterior of my house. After weeks and weeks of getting nowhere, off the 101 freeway in Agoura Hills, CA. I noticed a NEW Dunn-Edwards business sign. I walked in and was introduced to the teams Professional Color Advisor, Asia Shapiro. She is professional, courteous, and knowledgable. The best part is she has a visualization tool that allows for viewing color various schemes. All you need to do is let her know her what color(s) interest you and supply a picture of the subject home. Asia made the process stress-free. I highly recommend her services. read more

During this time of Covid it was so reassuring to step into Dunn Edwards in Agoura Hills. The employees wore masks and gloves (when needed) and definitely social distanced. All employees at the Agoura Hills location are extremely helpful but one person in particular who I would like to give a shout out to his Asia Shapiro.
