A rep named Carlos came right over to assist me. His experience was evident, plus he was genuine in his effort and care in helping me. He was so kind. I first gathered color samples (from a wide selection) to take back home, to be sure they'd work. They did. I returned the next day to buy the paint. Carlos, again, was so helpful, as was Cameron, who helped me pick an angled brush, and a nice young lady behind the counter helped as well. It was like my own team of professionals assisting me - in my purchase of a quart of paint. This level of service was impressive in times when customer service is not as common as it once was. At the register, more good news: there was a sale, so I got 40% off the 'Duration' primer/paint all-in-one Interior paint; a happy surprise and a great value. At home, the coverage was beautiful. I was painting over a saturated, Dark color, and was pleasantly surprised that just one coat of Sherwin Williams paint covered it completely! I also notice Sherwin Williams paints in many high-end decorating magazines; I now see why. I'm a new fan. I'm going back this week for more paint to refresh our dining room. I went to the Tempe store and they had it and sold it to me for half the cost because they were honest. Shame on this store with their Store Manager and Assistant Manager trying to rip me off. I have been going to Ace for Decades, BECAUSE of their service and how they treat their customers,…read moreas if they want to keep them! Today I went in because I had bought a 6 pack of LED flood light bulbs for our kitchen, when only 2 were bad at that time. Now it is 6 months later, and in trying to use the other new bulbs I found that only 1 of the 4 worked, and the rest were defective from the factory! I took the box back with the receipt, when the cashiers told me that THEIR WARRANTY to exchange or return items is only 30 days, even though the warranty from the manufacturer is 5 years. Therefore if I try to exchange defective items after 31 days, they will refer me to the manufacturer. I realize that each Ace is privately owned, which is why I try to patronize them whenever possible. Unfortunately I cannot count on them given their rigid policy, so I guess I will go to Home Depot from now on, as they would have exchanged these defective bulbs after 6 months, regardless of their store policy. There is such a thing as the "spirit of the law" versus the "Letter of the law", and even the big box stores will look at the facts before chasing customers away. Too bad that the owner of this Ace stores does not give their people the latitude to make decisions that will maintain their customer relations, especially when they could have easily exchanged these bulbs with their distributor. UPDATED on 5/27/26: Since leaving this review I reached out to the manufacturer of these bulbs, and they then sent me 3 more bulbs to replace these non-working ones. I also received an e-mail from a manager of the company, when they advised me that they wanted to make this right, and that I could return to the store to exchange these bulbs. I replied that I had already had them replaced by the manufacturer, but I greatly appreciate their review and willingness to follow through in this exchange. I now understand that nothing is returnable at Ace after 30 days, just like with Amazon! I will return back to Ace in the future, but I will have to check everything within their 30 day return period in order to avoid this issue again. Any warranty claims may only be resolved directly with the manufacturer.

Last summer my wife said she wanted to buy me a smoker for Father's Day! She had one all picked out…read moreon Home Depot's website. I told her absolutely not! Ace delivers and installs all their grills for no additional charge that cost over a certain dollar amount. I think it's $399. Even though Ace features Traeger products, they sell other brands as well. We ended up buying a Recteq. The smoker arrived a day or two prior to when the website stated it would. Ruggiero's Ace had a couple guys deliver it to our house and they had it set up very quickly. The smoker has worked flawlessly ever since. And I use it a lot! We buy all our supplies from there as well. I realize that you can buy spice blends, sauces and pellets for less elsewhere, but will you get better service? And I always use the Ace app. There are some good deals to be had on there!
