I had the worst experience coming into this story today. There was one employee (guy who had tons of piercings) who was so beyond unhelpful. He had no drive to help us match the color I was looking for and barely had any type of customer service or advice. For something so simple (had the paint code from our new build) I would have thought this store would have been more helpful since our builder used them for all paints interior and exterior. Besides a lack of knowledge or willing to help, this sales associate didn't say hi or how could he help etc. absolutely mind blowing. I would hope someone from management would review the poor customer service that just caused me to walk out. Guess I'll take my business elsewhere and be sure to not refer anyone to this specific location. read more

I have been trying to repaint my house for over 3 year but finding the color was overwhelming. I walked into the store the manager was nice and helpful, he worked with me for over a month to figure out what color to paint. He answered my zillion questions too and was very patient. After couple months I finally decided on color and I don't regret painting my whole house. He also gave me good painter recommendation and he did an amazing job too. This review is mostly about Jermaine! I went in with a color swatch I wanted matched up for my pool water feature. He made sure he got just the right color but more importantly, his attitude and demeanor were above and beyond. Happy, polite, greeting all the customers. He deserves a gold star, in my book. Amazing customer service reps at this location. Jermaine was so helpful, very friendly & personable. He is the reason I rated 5 stars. The building on the other hand, appears to be falling apart. The AC is not working, another customer on site said it's been broken for a while. Very cruel and not fair to the customers, and the employees that clearly deserve to be comfortable in their work environment. I'm sure they are very uncomfortable, but you would never know it from a customer stand point. They stayed friendly & positive, and we will Definitely be back because of the outstanding staff. But upper management needs to get that AC repaired ASAP read more

I went in with an old Sherwin-Williams stain that they no longer make. Jermaine helped me color match the stain & went above and beyond to make sure the stain was as close to the original as possible. He had such a great attitude and was so willing to take the time needed to get the perfect match. So impressed with the customer service at this location! read more

Make sure to get there at least an hour before they close. We walked in at 4:45pm knowing exactly what we needed - just one can of paint and some extra rollers. Other people were in there so we waited for someone to be available. The man working finished with them at 5:00pm on the dot and as we started to approach said, sorry, we're closed now. Then he fed us some BS about how the system shuts down automatically and he can't check anyone else out. If that were true, which it's not, couldn't you have said something when we walked in? Stopped in to pick up paint. The gentleman who helped me did not wear a mask. It is required in our city. I left and did not buy paint.

What a great location. We walked into Sherwin Williams as they have the books and color schemes for our HOA. We worked with Jermaine and he took the time to help us understand the differences in the paint quality and best product to use on our home. His enthusiasm was contagious and we left there extremely pleased with the customer service and education. read more

Service is slow, neither friendly or rude, just slow. I brought 2 samples in for a paint match. They got both of them wrong 2 times. Headed to Home Depot and they got it right the first time (and the paint cost less). Total waste of my money to pay for Sherwin Williams to color match. read more

Terrible customer service and no sense of urgency. Will not do business with again. This issue is solely with the store manager, Beldy. All of the associates were put in the middle, and tried their best to do what little they could. I dropped off a custom stain order Wednesday morning at around 830am. The associate took my name and told me it would be a day or two. I leave, and get a call a few minutes later from the same associate saying it was going to be a couple days which is what he said before but whatever. I said no problem I ask if that's two to three days and he says "right around there". Well Saturday comes (day 4) and I call the store about an hour before it closes to check on the status of stain. None of the people working that day said they could find anything of the items I dropped off. I'm pissed at this point because the pieces of wood are to a China Cabinet I was commissioned to refurbish and was told to bring in a piece of wood as well to best match the stain. Well, The worker I was talking too says to call back tomorrow to ask those guys because they may know where it is at. I call in the morning the next day, Sunday (Day 5). Again they have no idea where the stain or my stuff is at and said they will call other workers to see if they know where it could be and would call me back. Two hours later, I just go to the store in person. Max the associate working greets and helps me. He says no one knows where any of my stuff is at. He then calls his store manager Beldy. They talk for about 30 seconds and they hang up. He tells Max to tell me he took it to the Ray Rd store to work on it, but also he has been sick and it will be 4 more days before it's done. No, that's not going to work for me. I ask if someone else can work on it because I need it as soon as possible. Max calls the Ray store, BUT they can't find it. He then calls two store in Chandler to see if they maybe have it. They don't either. By this point I am pissed and I just want my stuff back. Max calls Beldy again to ask him what store has my stuff so I can drive to pick it up. It turns out Beldy, HAS MY STUFF AT HIS HOME AND HASN'T EVEN STARTED THE STAIN. I'm so mad at this point but can't even yell at the guy because I know it's not Max's fault whatsoever. Beldy tells Max he can bring my stuff now if I want to wait at the store BUT that he lives in ahwatukee, so it will "take a while." I'm even more pissed now! They continue to talk on the phone and I tell him I need my wood back now or my stain DONE tomorrow. Beldy tells Max he can get it done tomorrow no problem. Why a few minutes ago was it going to be another 4 days!? I say ok and leave the store. Next day, I get a call TWO hours after they opened saying its done and ready for pickup. AGAIN, WHY DID HE SAY 4 MORE DAYS BEFORE!? He also blames it on the associate because he told me a few days but supposedly it usually takes much longer. I drive to pick it up. I STILL GET CHARGED FULL PRICE!! EVEN THOUGH ITS BEEN 6 DAYS AND EVEN THOUGH NO ONE COULD FIND MY STUFF FOR DAYS. I never complain or leave very negative reviews as I also work as a retail store manager and can understand how some things just happen but this is just ridiculous. To Beldys only credit. When I leave the store after paying, he is outside talking on his cell phone. Gets off his call and come over while I'm getting in my car and says he wasn't planning on charging me for the stain and to come back in for the refund. Im so pissed at this point, I want nothing to do with him or Sherwin Williams. I tell him no and just leave. This whole experience was so awful. And I'm sure not much will come from even complaining but I am just going to copy and paste this message, which is being completed on the Website, to all online so hopefully it doesn't happen again to someone else. Which is more customers service to everyone else reading, then I received myself. P.S. The stain wasn't even close when I tested it and had to return it the next day. I'm giving three stars because the paint color I got was perfect, but the gentleman, er kid, who was in the store at the time was less then helpful and borderline rude. We went in yesterday afternoon around 430 to look for some paint samples for our home. Upon walking in we didn't even know if anybody was in the store and when I finally got up to look for someone I saw a younger man behind the counter. He did not greet me or ask if I needed any help. When I finally asked if he had a specific paint chip he came over and looked and said nope and then proceeded to stock other chips that he did have. I then asked if he had a store sample that we could see and he said "yeah" and continued to stock the samples. My husband and I decided on a color we liked and went ahead and ordered it. I paid for the sample and a brush and went to look around the store. It had been several minutes so I went to check on the paint and noticed he had put the finished bucket of paint on the counter and had gone into an office to what appeared to be to hang out. Not even a "here ya go" or "have a nice day." read more
